My wife has a warranty on both her engagement ring and her wedding band. We have previously had warranty work done on both bands over the years 5-6 times.When we went into the store for our warranty check; the store employees informed us that despite our previous warranty repairs on the ring that they could pull up and verify happened, that they had no record of the warranty on her wedding band.My only option they presented was for me to pay for the repair as well as another warranty for the wedding band.This is just another example of a horrible customer experience with Zales. I do not recommend anyone buy any jewelry from them, as their jewelry is not made to last and they do not honor their terms of service.

According to the website they are open till 9:00 p.m. I get out of work to drive up there, an hour away and arrive at 7:05 p.m. They were closing but I ask if theres any chance that I can get my ring because the sales associate was still there and the website hours say 9pm. Apparently that was the wrong thing to do. Ive never had someone be so rude and talked down to me the way that she did. Spend thousands of dollars to be treated like trash? Never again will I make another purchase from Zales.

Jerri was awesome... I had a lot of issues with my original ring, and dealt with the Kzoo location. They were awful... And since they closed permanently, I was forced to go to GR and Im actually thankful. She was super helpful and very willing to make things right since Ive had a less than desirable experience with people and their repair lab. I would recommend working with her - knows her customer service too. 5 stars for service and an unexpected outcome to fix my repair issues.

The sign said theyd be back from lunch at 1605 but it was already 1646. Heres the kicker though theyre closing in an hour. Who takes a lunch an hour before closing? And why is the entire team on lunch? All I needed was a cleaning. Piss poor service and management.

Bought my wife’s wedding ring and band from there. There was a problem with them they sent them out multiple times because the repair was less than desirable. The lady “helping” us was rude and didn’t care in the slightest bit about our situation or the fact that it’s been sent out three times with more problems and refused to refund or replace the rings their jewelers messed up. If 0 stars was an option I would have selected that. Do not recommend them no wonder their stores keep closing.

I bought $8000 diamond bracelets. And I needed to resize it. Employees vey rude. Bad customer service. No one wanted to help me. After spending an hour there waiting for help. Someone fine came and said sorry we closing come back tomorrow. And no one here to do it. Waist of time. Bad customer service.

I never leave bad reviews, ever so this is definitely a first. The staff is friendly instore, yes but the quality of the product isn’t well what’s so ever. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE INSURANCE BECAUSE SOMETHING WILL GO WRONG. I bought a ring for my girlfriend for our anniversary. Gave it to her, she wore it for 3 days and the stone fell out. Didn’t get the insurance so I had to pay MORE than half to get it fixed. Which that’s my bad for not getting the insurance. I was in the hospital for a couple weeks so I didn’t have my phone. They threatened to keep my product that I paid for. I talk to someone a couple weeks ago and she says that with what I’m paying I’ll get the warranty on it on top of what I’m paying to fix it. I picked it up today, pay more than half of what I originally paid for it and the girl said I have to pay more for the warranty to be added to it. Which would make the total $20 cheaper then the entire total I bought for the ring itself. Just fed up with Zales, the lady I talked to on the phone was very condescending when asking why I haven’t called back with in a week (like I said I was hospitalized For being sick DURING A PANDEMIC and didn’t think it was her business why I couldn’t return the call)and said if I do get it fixed I have to pick it up. I don’t know, just think the piece that I paid a lot for should last more than a couple days. Never shopping here again and referring friends/family else where.

In Dec 2019, I purchased a ring for my girlfriend, with the lifetime service plan, from Zales in Kalamazoo, MI. In Sep 2020, we took the ring to be serviced, not only because it was overdue due to Covid, but because it had also lost a stone. Though we were very pleased with the service we received, we had to take our item to the Battle Creek location, because the Kalamazoo location had closed. Oddly enough, when we picked up the ring 2 weeks later, we learned the Battle Creek location was closing as well. This brings us to the present. Today, my girlfriend and I noticed her ring had, once again, lost another stone. When I checked on store locations via online and phone, we learned only one Zales location remained open within 100 miles of our residence, located in Grand Rapids, just over an hour away. After speaking with the sales associate via phone, we took a drive. Upon arrival and a brief explanation, we were told that even though we had a lifetime warranty, Zales coverage had changed, only the metal work would be covered, and we would have to pay for the stone to be replaced. Being very disappointed with this entire experience, we decided to leave and have the item repaired elsewhere. My advice, there is no need to purchase the lifetime service plan. It is of little value and no peace of mind. In all honesty, the writing is on the wall for Zales. Though they are one of the several Signet company stores (eg Zales, Kay, and Jared are all under the same Signet Umbrella), they offer a slightly different warranty service than the others (the best being Jared). As for us, we now understand why Zales is closing and will be limiting our future purchases to Jared and Helzberg. We wish all happy purchases and many blessings! Be safe and stay safe!

Only in America will they sell you a ring worth 300$ of gold for 6000$. Save yourself the money go buy a plane ticket and go to Eastern Europe 18k and 22k gold pure quality at a fraction of the cost of America. None of the jewelry here is worth a fraction of their price tag in gold value. Good luck

Purchased a $6000 ring at Zales. Its beautiful. It had just been sized. I wore it 2 hours and I looked down at my hand this evening and a stone is missing now. Upset. Dont want my forever ring to fall apart while wearing.

. I spend $2600 on my wedding ring. Something you cherish FOREVER and it gave me such a bad rash that it went all the way up my hand!!! Rash so bad its blistering!! They dont have my ring anymore and I refuse to replace it! I have to go without a wedding ring now. I will never ever EVER recommended Zales. I WILL. Be reporting to BBB , HQ , & HR. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I HAVE NO MEDICAL CONDITION. I AM IN PERFECT HEALTH! I HAVE NO SKIN CONDITIONS. THIS IS WHAT FAKE JEWELRY DOES TO YOUR SKIN. I will not stop until I get my money back! The worst service ever. My watch was not at the store the day they told me it would be. I received a false email from zale. The corporate forgot to put the suit number on it so it couldnt be delivered the day promised. The workers had attitudes. The employee Jim through my Id on to the counter without telling me. When I looked back to get it was face up with my address and everything on it. He sat it out where everyone could see it (guess my safety was not a priority). They didnt compensate me at all for the inconvenience. I almost had to go pick up my package from ups myself. This was a horrible experience I wil never go back to this location ever! The employee Jim acts as though he doesnt want to be bothered with clients they need to get rid of him because he is making clients experiences a living hell.

Due to the fact that the Traverse City, MI location closed down without warning to their customers, my husband and I have to now drive to this location every 6 months to get my wedding set inspected to keep the lifetime warranty. The customer service is amazing here! I dont like the almost 3 hour drive I have to make to have them look at my ring for 10 minutes (or less), but I do love this location!When we brought up the fact that our location closed (without informing their customers, while they had my ring getting resized...so it got shipped to this location without my knowing until I called around) they were very kind and understanding. Apparently, there was next to no warning for the Traverse City store closing.Regardless, love this location! love love love!!!!!
