Outstanding customer service from start to finish. Elsya and Sandy were so helpful during my shopping experience. Initially settled on one option but they knew I wasnt 100 percent certain and continued to work with me to find the right thing. Incredibly satisfied and look forward to working with them on future purchases.

I went and bought a wedding band at the 28th street location. Jareds never disappoints! They were so helpful and knowledgeable. The manager there is such a GEM and I love his personality and willingness to help! All of their sales associates are very kind and know how to help you in every situation.

I bought a levian ring for my wife for her birthday sept 11 2021 they had to resize as well as her wedding rind had to resized and the point checked that hold the diamond(11,000) that I purchased there. They said by the 21st of august. Her party was the 21st(50th).the wedding ring came back sep 1not really a problem but I couldn’t pick it up. The store was never open. Kay jeweler at woodland mall in Grand Rapids mi. So now I’m waiting on the levian ring(1,200) finally shows up on sept 5th. The store has not been open and I can’t get my ring that I paid for. Contacted customer service they said a district manager would get ahold of me and let me know when I can pick it up. Still no call and no answer from customer service they said they sent it tho the service manager. My recommendation is go else where this place is the worst

My wife and I have been coming here for over two decades to get her wedding ring cleaned. Its a very nice ring, but not the fanciest ever. We are always treated very well.The extended warranty I bought has paid for itself many times over. The warranty has always been honored. This has not always been the case at other Kay Jewelers locations.

Do not go here. Honestly, I suggest going with a different jewelry company completely. They can never find me in their system even though I bought my jewelry, NOT my husband. My husband purchased an engagement ring over 5 years ago and they constantly put it under his name and then when I go to pick up MY jewelry they can’t find it. Very unprofessional company.

The staff was nice, very easy to talk to and work with. But getting the jewelry is taking much longer than we were told. Very frustrating… They continue to push the pick up date back.

We originally went to the Alpine location for a simple warranty issue. The staff at the Alpine location were rude and dismissive, ultimately resulting in us walking out. The staff and manager at the Woodland location were completely opposite. They were concerned that we weren’t happy and took care of the issue immediately. The problem was literally solved in 2 minutes. I cannot express how great they really are at Woodland.

My wife and I received amazing service from Josi.Josi also stretched my ring for a better fit, for no additional fee.As a brown couple, we really felt welcomed and that means a lot to notice that.We didnt feel like Josi was being pushy about anything and would recommend her as your salesperson.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. I visited the mall at 3pm today to visit Kays. They were not open! I drove an hour for nothing. To make matters worse, the neighboring store said they had not been open all day. I left the mall and drove down the road. I saw a brunette in her keep with a gray or maybe blue(?)KAY JEWELERS JACKET! She was heading in the opposite way of the mall. The last time I was in this store, I made two laps around the store before the ASSISTANT MANAGER and sales associate even looked up from their phones. Very sad. I was ready to buy a nice Levian piece for my wife for our anniversary. I tried twice, but it is kinda hard when the store is never open and when it is, they are all on their phones.

I walked to kay at woodland mall at 2:15pm today and there was a sign on the door stating that the workers were on break and would return at 2:50pm. The workers did not return until closer to 3pm. I waited in line for my turn and when I was next to be served at 3:15, the worker hung up a written “closed” sign and told me they were close. I wanted an hour to get my ring inspected and didn’t receive any service. I even asked could my ring be cleaned for the hour waited and I was told no. The worker did apologize but her apologies were not worth my hour wasted standing in line. As a loyalty member I was very unhappy that this happened today.

After a horrible horrible experience with the Kay Jewelers on Alpine, I reached out to this location for some help. I am beyond thankful I did! They made me feel very welcome, actually cared about my concerns and helped immediately. I would recommend this location to everyone looking for GREAT customer service. I stopped in November 24, 2020 The young ladies were very disrespectful and smelled like marijuana and all of there eyes were red and just filled with laughter for some odd reason, very unprofessional, didn’t even get a chance to get my husband a gift. Ended up spending my money at Rodgers and Holland’s and had a much better experience

I have been shopping at Kay jewelers for over 10 years. Between 2016-2018 they were definitely struggling, Im sure there was a lot of different reasons. I, too, have been one that posted a bad review because we had an unpleasant experience. However, I am happy to say that they have turned around recently and are now back to the way they used to be. Josie is one of the new managers and she is awesome! Customer service is back to great, dont let the low rating on Google bother you, those reviews were during the rough times. Kay is back to the great store they used to be!

I bought two rings and a bracelet from Kays jewelers in 2017. The items are some of my favorites. Opening a card helped me to purchase items. It also gave me a chance to improve my credit score. I have recieved good care from them. They cleaned some of my other jewelry for free and gave me free values on some jewelry that i did not purchase there. They recently did a staff change this fall and i dont know what happened. Now it is all black workers. It could be mixed, because i dont feel too comfortable there.

Do not even browse here. Was curious what I was QUALIFIED for, to try and make payments on a product, and was scammed into signing up for a credit card without my knowing. Said it was apart of a reward program and a simple financing availability program. Never would I have signed this if I had know it was to add a credit line to my credit report. Now, I have to cancel this line which puts a negative print on my report. I am extremely disappointed and pissed off. After doing 10 minutes of research, I found countless reports of similar complaints. This place is a joke, a scam, and a huge waste of time. Never doing business here.

After seeing Aarons post I will be seeking legal assistance and reaching out to him, I was involved in a similar scam at this location late last year. The trade commission doesnt allow these kind of sales tactics. They would not allow me to leave the store without putting a junk ring on hold for later even after I said I didnt want anything they had, its all overpriced junk product. Another associate got involved and started telling me to fill out a hold sheet on the iPad and tried making me look like a major jerk in front of my girlfriend. Do not go to this store, they are major predators and repetitively lie to your face. Shop around and youll see this is the LAST place you should ever visit.

My boyfriend and I came in to get my finger sized and look at engagement rings (might I add he was carrying $10,000 ready to purchase). We were not greated with even a hello, we were not asked if we needed any help, and the associates just stared at us with dirty looks as if we weren’t welcome there. I felt SUPER uncomfortable and was really dissapointed as this was the first experience I’ve had with looking at rings. It made me pretty sad because I wanted that to be a special moment for us. So WE WENT TO JARED across the street. AMAZING STAFF AT JARED! They sized me, showed me different settings, and even put a ring on file for my boyfriend to surprise me with later! ❤️ KAY SUCKS, THEIR LOSS!

I always go here to clean my rings and I went yesterday and the lady pulled out her tablet and started looking up my husbands name, I was confused as they never have done this before. She goes to say they do that and should have been doing this to make sure that people have the warranty, of course once your in the system, you can easily fall out, bc I guess every 6 months you need to bring in the paperwork to prove you been on warranty.. which is b.s. bc once your in the system you should always be in it.The girls were beyond rude, so we went across, and that jewelry store took care of my friend and I. In the end DO NOT GO HERE. BAD SERVICE, ALL AROUND.

So they lost my jewelry when ALL it needed was a new clasp. They sent my watch out to be fixed and its been 2 months of no word! I am standing out side the store in Woodland mall which has posted open hours on Sunday as 11am on Sunday and its 11:45 and the gates are still down! smh this store has been sich a waste of time Id advise anyone to save there energy and money and go some where else. No matter how many new managers they hire it will never get better.

Were do I start! So I take my child to this mall all the time to play in the play area and buy her clothes. The play area is across from Kay jewelers. While I was leaving the play area to go change my 1 year olds diaper I was stopped by a cop in front of everyone and she said I was accused of stalking by two girls who work at Kay jewelers. The officer asked me if that was the case lol of course not are you kidding me I’m with my child and I guess I’ve ran into these same to girls twice at two different coffee shops in the morning by coincidence not stalking. So now I was being stopped by an officer at the mall in front of everyone with a child who needed to get changed. Sorry but NOBODY messes with me and gets in the way of my child needing something she needs to have done so I am sueing Kay jewelers or more so the two who slandered me. I will take it to court. Hope those two feel great about themselves!! That’s my baby girl and that’s one thing you don’t mess with!

If I could give this store a zero I seriously would do so. I took my rings in to be soldered as it was an enhanced wedding band & my engagement ring, it took 21/2 to 3wks to get back just so I could go in and find that they sized it down a whole to sizes!! When I complained I was told its because when you solder 3 rings together it gets smaller . Well Im sorry but it is not made of cloth for one and secondly it is 2 rings!! I was promised I would have it back by a certain date and called to verify it was in before heading that way to be told it may be in tomorrow!! Manger is rude and disrespectful and I am still waiting on my ring!!

Sales associates were nice and willing to help.The manager a black lady was rude to my husband and I two days in a row. She tried to get sales associate to wait on customers that came after us both days I spoke up 2nd day. She also checked out a man who came in after all of us She even said order of customers 2nd day and still tried to have sales associate wait on someone before us. Kays is over priced junk, bought several items from them necklaces broke 3 of them took somewhere else got fixed and only broke again. Will never return to Kays rude customer service and cheap junk jewelry at high prices

I want to like Kay, I really do. But this is a joke. At this point I wont go into all the details of the slew of issues Ive had with Kay and this specific location but the headaches and time Ive spent trying to get updated on orders is not worth it. Wouldnt have purchased my husband and my wedding rings from them knowing what I know now.

I agree with all the other reviews. These people are scammers, especially if you sign up for financing. Its not a loan, but a credit card that they trick you into signing up for and it definitely negatively impacts your credit rating. These people should be in jail. I will never do business with these people again.

My husband and I took my diamonds he gave me for my birthday at this store on September 30,2013. We would like to have prongs that would connect both diamonds to become a pendant. Our receipt stated that it would be done on October 13, 2013. I went to the store on October 11th, and was told that it wasnt ready which I could understand by looking at the date of the receipt. October 13th has passed and I still never received a call from them. So I decided to take a trip back to the store . The salesperson excused that the job isnt ready because they had to sent it out to the shop and orders some parts for it and that they will call as soon as it is ready. I decided to stopped by at the store on October 17th (Thursday), which was four days after the date of the said receipt. I heard the same story that implies, it is not ready yet, we had to sent it out to the shop and order some parts for it; please come back on Oct. 22nd ( Tuesday) and it should be here or we can call you. October 19th (my birthday) have passed, my birthday gift are still out of my hand. Finally, October 22nd came! My heart was pounding- expecting that I would finally see my late birthday present. And it got crushed! It really makes me angry that I once again was told that it will be ready on October 24th, 2013. It is literally has been over 3 weeks since they did not do their job or broke promises! They are unreliable! They apparently, dont stand up of what they would say on the receipt. They just keep you hanging until you reached your frustrations. I would NOT do any kind of business with this company! I reached to the point that this would be the last and the first purchased Ive made with them. I believe there are several jewelers out there who would stand up of their promises. Who would not take over 3 weeks to a month to get the job done and to MEET CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION! They dont have a jeweler inside the store or onsite! They have to send your precious jewelry out. They have salespersons , not jewelers!
