This was a very nice experience. Sophia was great! My mom had some old jewelry.She knew it was mostly gold and was curious what it might be worth. Sophia showed us exactly how she checked each piece. Some pieces were10 K, some were silver, and some were 14 K. We had no idea what to expect. It was a very nice and enlightening experience! My mom also had a coin that Sophia could find specifics about. Highly recommend the Gold and Silver Exchange.

I had a great experience. I brought in some old jewelry that I wasn’t really sure why I was hanging on to it. It was nice to walk out with extra money! Kelly was friendly and nice to work with. My only let down was I mentioned the great reviews and ad that I had seen but did not get the extra money. I didn’t realize until later that night. We were too busy talking! The ad stated 15 percent extra for silver and 150 extra for an oz of gold.

The miss who couldnt help me because of specifics grabbed the owner and he was so personable. We actually got personal about our pasts and it struck a soft spot for me. I had a ring from my great-grandma that was yellow gold and cut (it was cut off her finger because it was to tight to remove). I wanted to have it white gold in color. I was able to have the shank built up, sized, and dipped to have the white gold color. I was so happy I got to keep the design!!!! I love my ring. I have been going to the Gold and Silver Exchange for years! I love going to garage sales and picking up things I think are gold and finding out they really are gold! Every time I go in there, the employees are really nice. They are knowledgeable and professional. At first, I was embarrassed to bring in my items because I didnt want to be laughed at, but they always tell me not to worry. They are happy to help me out. I have checked out a few other places and feel that I get the best service and price.

We couldnt believe that anyone would actually buy our gold teeth. Although the amount didnt make us rich, it paid for a nice dinner. The transaction was very efficient, too.

Had an engagement ring and wedding band. Looked at it before left the house it said 24 car. Gold. Got there she said that it was 14 car. Wanted to get rid of some scrap silver coins. Kept changing the price. We decided on a price and didnt even have 7.00 in the store to pay me. I will never go there again.

This place is more professional than most. They have experts there, ready to look at your gold. Its much better than going to a pawn shop or pawn/buy gold place. The people at those places look at so many things every day, that they dont know as much about gold and silver as the employees of The Gold and Silver Exchange.They let me keep the stones that were on my necklace. They removed them for me so that I could take them home. They only buy the weight in gold. For this reason, I didnt receive nearly enough money as I expected. Overall though, it was a good experience.

I have never sold any gold before, but I had some chains and rings from my mother that had been sitting in a drawer for over 5 years. I wasnt sure what to expect, and was very pleasantly surprised at the friendliness & professionalism of the staff. This is an amazing business. Very professional and forthcoming. They check every piece and validate rather it is gold and what karat weight. They also take silver which doesnt have as high a value but surprisingly you get a lot of money for a small amount of gold. This is the only place I would take gold to. Get paid right on the spot.Thank you!!

It might be a good place to sell your preacous metals, but certainly not to buy. They wanted 18x face for 90% silver. At the time Im writing this spot is 10.56 face. I told them Id sell them $1000 face for 12x face. Lol
