I highly recommend Village Eye Care as your first choice for eye care. I left another clinic after growing frustrated with their service and quality and drove down the street to see what Village Eye Care could offer. It was the best decision I could have made. The experience was night and day. The staff is warm, friendly and professional. The facilities were immaculate and inviting. Dr. Vaughn explained every step of the exam and ensured I understood everything. By far, the best experience Ive had at an eye care center in over 20 years.

I had an eye emergency due to pieces of metal in my eye later in the day. Only one office would agree to wait for me and that was Dr Vaughan at Village Eye Care. He waited after hours and had me fixed up in no time! Then he came in on his day off a few days later to make sure i was healing correctly. I made this appointment for my teenager who was in desperate need of replacing a pair of glasses. From the moment I made the appointment to walking out the door, everyone we came in contact with was beyond nice and helpful! I can’t remember the last time I went to an eye clinic and every single person was nice. We will definitely be coming back for as long as we can!

Everyone was so warm and friendly. They were also very professional. This was my first visit with them, but all the ladies made such a positive impression on me that I will be transferring my two sons over there as well.

This place was recommended by a doctor friend years ago and the doctors and staff are excellent! They go above and beyond with the best equipment and are truly caring and go the extra mile. They were especially helpful when my husband developed a torn retina, and Dr. Vaughn made sure he got in for surgery with a retina specialist within 24 hours.I highly recommend Village Eye Care.

Considering the current climate of the world, the office staff were were cautious in how they handled and monitored traffic in the building. The equipment was cleaned before and after each use and done openly.In addition to the cleanliness, the staff was very knowledgeable being able to answer all my questions and providing me with information I didn’t even think to ask about.I would recommend them to friends and family.

All three of my kids(19 yrs, 15 years, and 5 years old) had a great experience getting their eyes checked. The doctor was very gentle and kind. He was very thorough and made sure that since my younger two kids didnt show any symptoms of eyes worsening that I did not need to waste my money to buy new prescriptive lenses. The staff was so friendly. They were so understanding of us needing to wait for our ride home and let us wait in the waiting lobby twice , once during a rainpour, until our ride came. They were very professional and they take Tricare. I am planning on getting my own eyes check from here soon.

This practice is efficient and well organized. Each very high tech test was administered painlessly and explained very well. This was the best eye exam I have had in years. The results were explained thoroughly and a care plan was developed. All of the staff were very well spoken and friendly and professional. I was able to choose my new frames before my eyes were dilated. No wasted space or time. I highly recommend these folks if you need a thorough eye exam

I’m only giving 5 stars because the receptionist at the desk were extremely nice! However the doctor was snappy and act like she was frustrated and ready to go home. I understand everyone has a bad day, but you are in a business setting. I hope she gets it together or I will be looking for another eye clinic.

I called the office to see if I can get my 5 yo in sooner. Unfortunately there was nothing due to the amount of people allowed in. She put me on a list...10 min later got a call and got her right in today. As we walked in was greeted by both ladies in front (im so sorry Im bad w names lately) so friendly and sweet. My daughter ia a hugger and hugged them both. Sat doen filled out paperwork was sitting there not even 10 min and my appt started. They were wonderful with my daughter and so very nice. Highly reccomend them!

Im canceling my appointment.First of all, I made an appointment for the 28th with the Medicaid I was given due to Covid-19, not realizing that it only covered planned parenthood. I got a phone call from Village Eye 2 WEEKS before my appointment telling me that my medicaid did not cover the exam.Why were they running my insurance BEFORE my appointment?THEN they CANCELED my appointment without me asking them to. Assuming I could not pay with cash. I had to reschedule it.I havent even been there yet, but it feels like a bad place. The more I think about it, the more I think Ill take my money elsewhere.

Highly recommend Village Eye Care to anyone with eyes. My husband is very squirmy when it comes to his eyes, but the staff handled it very well. We were in and out rather quickly. Also for those who might be wondering, they accept Care Credit. Best eye doctor weve ever met and we have been wearing glasses for 25 years.

I hadn’t been to an eye doctor in years and I was lucky to come across Village on my first google search. The staff is lovely and Dr Vaughn was great with my 8 and 10 year olds. The office wasn’t busy during my personal appointment so he was able to chat about all the different layers and unique characteristics that can be seen in the elective scan that you can get there. It was incredible how much detail can be captured and I really appreciated listening to the doctor speak his trade language. If you have the opportunity to add the scan, it’s only $39 and totally worth getting so they can catch issues that wouldn’t normally be caught so early. Obviously, I highly recommend this office!

The service was wonderful, but the staff doesn’t tell you that if you have MEDICAID you will have to wait 4-6 weeks for glasses! So in two weeks my glasses came and guess what... they messed up my prescription.. so they had to send them back! Which means I have to wait 2-4 weeks again. When I call... they sounded so frustrated and I will not be doing business with them again.

Love that we are stationed back here at Bragg so I can bring my kiddos to Dr. Vaughn! He was great when I was here as a kid and the only thing that has changed is his location. Dr. Vaughn and his staff are wonderful and were very accommodating when I had to make appointments for all three of my children. Im so impressed with Village Eye Care and Dr. Vaughan! My previous optometrist left, and I always waited forever to be seen so I took a chance and booked a visit elsewhere. The staff kindly took the time to find what records they could. Unfortunately, I wear complicated gas perm contacts, and some of the measurements were gone. Dr. Vaughan is extremely knowledgeable and worked hard to recreate my lenses, even working with the lab several times until we had the exact fit. I went in for a yearly eye exam and contact fitting and truly enjoyed my visit! Being a military spouse we move a lot which means finding new optometrists . Very professional and friendly office. I called to make an appointment for my son and they had availability the same week. There was a question about insurance coverage and I was called immediately to insure the information was accurate and the issue resolved. This was great to avoid any confusion on the day of the appointment.Being a first time patient you are asked to come a few minutes early to fill out paperwork. I was completely impressed with our visit! My two children and I had been to another eye Dr for years, and each visit took 3-4 hours, most of it just waiting. Village Eye had us all 3 done within an hour and a half! It was the most thorough eye exam we have ever had. The staff and physician were all absolutely wonderful. We wont be going anywhere else! I highly recommend.Also, the physicians are very generous with the community, helping local non-profits provide reasonable eye exams and glasses to low income clients. My two boys and I go to Village Eye Care. Initially it was just my boys who we brought, but I liked Dr. Vaughn so much that I switched my own care to him! The entire staff is incredible with kids, and everyone there seems to generally be happy to be at work and relaxed. The waiting room is never full, which is meaningful when we live in a time where doctors seem to think its good practice to jam people into time slots that dont even exist. Wow! What an awesome experience. First, I requested an appointment via their website form on a Saturday. The following Monday I received a call back by 9:30am to schedule. The woman I spoke with was incredibly friendly and I was able to get the time and day I wanted (which was today, the following Friday). I have truly never experienced a freindlier staff. Village Eye Care did a great job getting my daughter into contacts. She had been prescribed contact lenses two years ago with an optometrist while in Raleigh. But she said her new contact lends were much more comfortable and they no longer gave her eye strain when reading. My granddaughter and I love this place!! From the time we walked in, we felt welcomed!!! The ladies at the desk were very friendly and helpful!! All the assistance were awesome!! Village eye care is the place to go in Fayetteville! They have always been super friendly. Fast and efficient. Even when you break your glasses they are fast to get the repair done and back to you. Military friendly! I’ve been a customer for two or so years now. They go out of there way to take care of you. Thanks for everything VEC!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Vaughans for 16 years now. He is wonderful, and his care has been superb. I have a very unusual prescription, and when we first moved here, while looking in the yellow pages for an optometrist, I was attracted by his ad, which talked about eye care, rather than advertising the latest in contact lenses and glasses frames. I wasnt disappointed. Dr. Arcolano, his wife and partner, is great as well. My daughter loves her. They both spend a lot of time with their patients, explaining everything and answering questions. Once, my son developed an eye infection the day before he was to leave for summer camp, and Dr. Vaughan found an optometrist in the town closest to the camp for my sons follow-up appointment. You dont find doctors willing to go that extra mile very often anymore. The technicians there are friendly and professional - Ive been there so often and so many times that theyre like friends.

Love this place!!! I went for the first time yesterday and everyone was so fast and VERY efficient! I would definitely recommend going here for your eye care needs!

I have been going to see (like the pun?) Dr. Arcolano for more years than I remember. She was great helping me transition from glasses to contacts when I was a teenager and I still drive from Augusta GA to see her when its time for my check up. They both do a great job of patient care and picking out frames that I like and their service is beyond par for any optometrist Ive visited.
