Dr. Austin is always on point and never disappoints! She is very thorough, knowledgeable, and honest. I recently ordered glasses and learned so much that had never been shared with me elsewhere. Dr. Austin sat down and took the time to explain how the lenses for my prescription are cut, and made recommendations that made all the difference in the world for me. My new glasses are everything I wanted them to be and all the issues I had with ordering elsewhere are gone.I highly recommend Dr. Austin & Christy for many reasons, but honesty is #1! Make the appointment, you won’t be sorry!

Ive been extremely happy by switching to Austin Vision Care’s optometry office. Dr. Austin is very prompt, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Dr. Austin and the whole team makes you feel like you are a person and not just a customer. I recently considered progressive lenses, but had no idea what they were like. Dr. Austin and Giselle (optician) took the time to explain to me how they work, what to expect, and how sometimes they dont work for everyone. During the exam we also updated my contact lenses which can also give me vision for both up close and far away---technology is cool. Kristy’s calming attitude during pretesting made the exam process less stressful. I was able to try on as many frames as I liked since sometimes is very difficult to find glasses for my face. AVC had a great selection to choose from and I found the perfect pair of glasses. You can even recycle your old glasses and contact lens packets at their office. I walked out of the office so happy about the excellent customer service, I decided to write a google review and Im definitely a customer for life now!

If I could give less than one star I would. I purchased a $684 pair of glasses from them, having been told by Dr. Austin that (for some reason) I had to pick smaller frames. I received my glasses and was immediately unable to see out of them. I felt like I was looking through a fishbowl, and could see the entire frame in my peripheral. I returned to see if I could get a refund, considering that I wouldn’t be able to use the glasses I had purchased.They offered me store credit for the frames and a 40% discount on the next pair of lenses. I was shocked. To be out $500+ on a pair of glasses I cannot use? I am legally blind and need glasses to see. Dr. Austin told me that I HAD to pick smaller frames, something I’ve never heard in 25 years of wearing glasses.Still waiting to hear back from them about some sort of resolution, but I will absolutely be switching eye doctors and will actively deter anyone I know from using them.I should also add that when I first got my prescription from them, they neglected to give me my contact lens prescription, despite my having paid for a contact lens exam.

They have always been just awesome. They helped me manage my eyes and even saw the beginning of my retinopathy. Go there if you want a optometrist that legitimately cares about your health.

Excellent customer service and great selection of eye wear that you can’t find anywhere else in the area. Dr. Austin took her time to give me a great eye exam and listen to all my concerns. She fit me with new contacts and these are the best that I have found. Great staff! I will be back!

Had been previously going to a different doctor for 10+ years, but due to a recent visit felt unsatisfied with the care I had received.Dr. Austin was recommended to me by multiple coworkers and they were right! She is awesome. She gave me a new (and working) prescription to replace what my previous doctor had insisted was correct/unchanged despite my insistence that something was off.Very awesome customer service and friendly staff. Will definitely recommend to anyone who needs an eye doctor!

Dr. Austin and all of her staff are very friendly and professional. She takes a lot of time to make sure my eyes are perfect. And as for the comments below talking about a $50 cancellation fee. I was informed over the phone when I made my appointment that if I canceled less than 24 hours notice, I would get a $50 fee.This is standard for most doctor offices.

Awesome facility, decent selection of glasses, reasonably priced, and Dr. Austin is super nice and gives quality attention. I love my glasses, so glad I went!Edit: I just wanted to say that I have received SO many compliments on my glasses! And, from talking to others about theirs, I got mine at about half the price of a usual pair! If youre looking for cute, affordable glasses, you absolutely must go!

They do not give you the correct charges when you have insurance, they want to make sure they are covered in case your insurance doesn’t pay part of it. Then you will need to call them to tell them you have a credit. Then they will argue with you about it and do everything they can NOT to refund your money. Staff is not professional, and the Dr has no issues calling and being combative about why they did what they did. Their products are also cheap, they are only concerned about money not the customer. Seems like reading the other reviews that are not so good it’s bad customer service and wanting money. Lost my business and I hope this helps others choose another Dr.

For real, hands down, the best eye care experience I have ever had. They are friendly, pricing is competitive, and my glasses will be here in just a few days

Appointments are set up in advance and notice is given only the week of, my mother has been trying to call them for days to cancel her appointment but the phone is apparently not receiving calls all day any day and she is having to physically go to the clinic to cancel. They have a fee if you cant make it to the appointment, which my grandmother was charged for and was the reason to why my grandmother does not go there anymore!

Love Dr. Austin, she treats my entire family for things ranging from typical annual vision exams (for glasses and contact lens prescription updates) to monitoring cataracts, and regular eye issues like a scratched cornea, something stuck in there, gunky during allergy season. Apparently were a family of eye issue people. They always manage to get us in for emergencies, respond to emails, and are welcoming.

Dr. Austin and her assistant are very thorough and up to date with new innovations, warm and friendly, and simultaneously entirely professional. Its actually fun to go have my eyes checked these days!

Called to switch my contacts and they informed me I needed to make an appointment to do so. Made the appointment and went to the office and found out they had moved offices. Now they have charged me a $50 “no show” fee when they should have told me over the phone when I originally called to make the appointment or sent a card in the mail that said “Hey Patient, FYI we have moved locations”. Sadly I’ll be switching opticians now which stinks because I really liked Dr. Austin. #badcustomerservice

Not customer friendly. Had to cancel because I got sick and they sent me a $50 payment request but did. It say anything about that when I cancelled the appointment. I explained I got sick and they said that is our policy. I said they just lost my business.

I would definitely recommend this office to friends and family!
