Changed their name from Visionary eyecare to evade their awful service record, and questionable business practices. But the more things change the more they stay the same. The Summit Point location in Fayetteville is a disaster! Stay away! Purchased $600 designer frames and lenses from them and the wire holding the frame broke. Took them back to correct the issue and was told to pay to have them fixed.

Does anyone know about their refund policy? I visited today and only after getting home did I notice I was up charged over 500. I would like to cancel my purchase but I’m not sure how.

Update below: Short story: Office isn’t knowledgeable about discounts & rebates & gives incorrect info costing customers money. Full story: My previous doctor (Thomas Brown) had his office merged into this new company. I had been going to Dr. Brown for 10+ years with no problems. My first time coming to this new place I was shown the contacts that offered rebates. I went over the products & rebates with Giszelle, and chose a Alcon product based on the info I was presented. I soon came to find out Alcon did not have a rebate for the contacts I was recommended. Giszelle was helpful in trying to figure things out. Her manager (a woman whose name I didn’t get) however was condescending & unhelpful. After I explained to her that I would miss out on a $50 rebate because her office informed me incorrectly, she stated that everyone is human & should just understand. I responded by saying I specifically ordered the brand I did because of the rebate. Still no understanding why I should be upset.When a business makes an error and costs a customer unnecessary money, a professional and business savvy company would correct the issue. Not say “I don’t know what we can do for you”. I obviously will never come back here and neither will anyone I know. They’ve lost a 10 year customer over $50, but no matter the amount, the experience was disappointing and off putting.Update to “owner” response: I have already opened and used 2 pair of contacts. I was specifically told I could not return bc I had opened them. How can I change the brand if you would only exchange unopened boxes? The manufacturer requires all boxes & UPC codes so that literally makes no sense as I would still be ineligible for a rebate. Additionally, you gave me a receipt for a product I didn’t purchase because YOUR system was “down” and therefore couldn’t provide my receipt for the services I paid for. So don’t mention that as a benefit because it’s an issue that your system created. Best wishes to you as well. I’ll be contacting the actual doctor so he has this information directly.

I’ve been a patient here for 5 years! I cannot brag enough on the customer service, the prices and omg the selections they offer are unmatched! If you are looking for a wide variety of designer frames at an affordable cost, A+ is the place for you! Tell them Quatney sent you, they know me. Lol!

First time visiting as there werent many places that offered the glasses my 2 year old required AND was partly covered by our insurance. So at first glance, this place was a godsent. Our insurance didnt cover the $700 pair of childrens glasses in full, so we had to cover the bulk of the price weeks prior. That being said, I assumed a mere pick-up of preordered glasses would be swift and timely as the business appeared to be in no way busy of any sort. The wait time to pick up our glasses was over half a hour after having already driven 2 hours to get here. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with the timeliness of the staff. We were told they would bring them right out after sending my wife back out seconds after walking in. They had forgotten about us. So I walked back in and told another lady we had been waiting half an hour and she had no knowledge of my wife coming in earlier. After I had gone in they were swift about getting them out to us. The glasses supersedes our expectations. The over all quality of them are amazing. Its the fact that the staff had completely forgotten about us.

I wish my insurance didnt change then I wouldnt be subjected to such horrible customer service. To begin, I got to my appointment on time to only be ignored by the receptionist and having to wait 45 minutes before I was seen. Another young lady came in 10 mins after me and was tended to before I was. I even finished my paperwork before she did and she was instructed to go back first. Finally when I was seen, the Optician was not wearing a mask and was breathing heavily on me. I mean....COVID!! At least wear a mask sir. Then after my exam, I walked back out to the front to pick my glasses. I was so confused on pricing because of how they have the glasses labeled and the number of glasses to choose from are very slim. Anyway I only found 1 pair I like and they were mislabeled $200 but were instead $500. WHAT??? I could have gotten the same frames from LensCrafters for way cheaper. Next, after refusing to pay those ridiculous prices, I asked for my prescription so I can order glasses elsewhere but my prescription print out was incomplete. When I called to ask for the missing information, I was told that is only provided if I choose to order glasses through them. WHAT??? Now Im upset because I have to get another eye exam from somewhere else in order to get my full prescription. Waste of my time, waste of my money. Never returning again and Im urging others to beware also.

Darian went above and beyond to take care of me and my daughter. Darian is very professional and extremely patient, when you add that to his many years of experience with working in the optical field it gave me the experience of the “best of both worlds”. Leslies customer service was outstanding! They have a large selection of beautiful frames to choose from. Their designer frames are up-to-date too! I was so happy they accepted Kaiser insurance. Every visit Ive had has been excellent. The receptionist at the front desk is a sweetheart and went the extra mile trying to help me when my son broke his glasses but could only do so much considering the time of day I came in. I came back after getting my finances in order to have them repaired and Darrien went up and beyond as well to make sure that my son had his glasses! Originally I was expecting to have to leave my sons current (broken) pair with them so they could be sent out and repaired but he searched and searched until he found frames almost identical to use just to ensure my son would not go a day without them. I will never go anywhere else. Their prices are just as amazing as their service and considering this is my first and only review, that has to tell you something. Lol

More interested in making money than in taking care of customers. My appointment was canceled numerous times stating the doctor had jury duty. When I finally made it in they told me I would have my contacts the same day. After they swiped my card they said it would be two weeks. Be careful! They will say anything to make a sale.

I was very disappointed in how this place handled my son’s appointment. It was totally unprofessional as to how they skipped over his scheduled appointment to get another customer in that was scheduled later, but claimed he had to get to a wedding. Later, I was told by one of the employees that my son’s appointment needed to be rescheduled because the doctor only works up until a certain time and then was told they never received a confirmation call back from me to confirm my son’s appointment. However, they still managed to get him checked in to see the doctor. After correcting the staff member to let her know I did call back several times and left a message asking them to return my call because I had further questions, and that no one ever called me back, she then had the receptionist to check the voicemail and discovered that I had in fact called and left a message. Furthermore, i had proof of having called on my cell phone. Goes to show they don’t check their voicemail nor return patient calls. I was a long-standing customer for myself and my son, but after that experience, I doubt that I will return. It’s hard enough scheduling a day and time for an appointment that coordinates with a busy work and school schedules. I was offered to waive $10 copay along with some stale donuts and to reschedule for another day that wasn’t available yet on their books...no thanks. Needless to say, the same doctor that didn’t see patients after a certain time managed to see a couple other patients after my son’s appointment was canceled by their office.

These people are great!! I bought a classy pair of semi-frameless glasses there last year. Yesterday I accidentally smashed the frames and the nylon wires that hold the lenses in broke. The glasses were useless with no way to hold the lenses in the frame. I took them back and explained the problem to Ari Muse (who works there). He was very helpful and repaired them right away. I really didnt expect them to be fixed so quickly! I will get all my glasses from A+Plus Optique from now on. Thank you again.Ann Bottoms

I’ve dealt with Darrien, Crystal, and Leslie. This time around, I worked directly with Leslie to get my 3 daughters prescriptions filled. She helped each of them find the perfect frame and lens combination based on what they liked, favorite colors, and what looked good on their heads.I was pretty honest with telling her my budget and/or what I am not spending for them to have glasses and Leslie was patient, friendly, even took pictures and videos of them in the glasses so they could compare how they looked on them before we agreed to buy.Glasses came in pretty quick, the mirror transition ones took around 3 weeks but my daughter loves them! If you are looking for a place to buy glasses go to A+ Optique and see Crystal, Leslie, or Darrien all are extremely friendly and make you feel comfortable!P.S. them having a huge variety of frames made it easier to find something

We went and got my 7 month old daughters glasses prescription filled. Paid in full. They said that they would be done in 2 weeks 3 tops. Their lab has screwed up my daughters glasses and we had to wait another week. Fine. Then i called them after that week was over and they are STILL at the lab. My daughter hasnt been able to see hardly anything since birth. She was born with congenital bilateral cataracts and had two surgeries before she was even two months old. Her prescription is high and they are saying thats the reason the lab had messed them up cause its difficult. They said give it another week. She wore contacts but they didnt seem to be working so we switched to glasses. We went December 18th 2018 and it is now January 16th 2019. Absolutely ridiculous. It has NEVER taken this long to get a prescription for glasses taken care of for me. Ive worn glasses since i was her age and my parents recieved them quickly. Absolutely terrible experience thus far

Got my babys glasses back, they was little to big but said her strap will help with that! Ok so we drove 3 hrs home spent 3 wks trying to figure out these glasses for our baby who needs glasses 100 percent of day, so lenses keep popping out so I stopped by a local eye Dr to get them to pop her lense back in cause I couldnt get it, then they proceed to tell me that the lenses arent cut correctly to fit in frame they are moving in frame which is not doin my baby any good 😔 so I called them and asked for a refund since glasses are useless and they refuse 😡 I dont want another pair of glasses that are gonna do my baby no good if they didnt bother to properly make them the first time, so no I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!

Horrible horrible horrible experience I would rate this no stars if I could, I am very unpleased with their customer service. When I called a man answered the phone @exactly 3:10 pm on may 18,2017. whenever I asked a question he gave me a vague response and got an attitude with me just by me asking simple questions upon my request. He has no people skills and I am astonished by how rude someone can be that has to deal with customers on a daily basis he does not properly do his job.... you had one job. I have chosen to stop coming to this vision center , no good customer service, horrible prices and the list goes on. If you really want a good deal, and wayyyy better customer service go to Walmart.

First we were told that because it was my 15 year olds first time wearing contacts we would need to come on a Saturday and we waited 3 weeks only to be called the day before and were told the doctor had an emergency ok I understand then they scheduled him the following Wednesday he was with the eye Dr about 10-15 tops he also was getting glasses through insurance that was covered100% nobody tried to even help until I said something but other coustomers were and we were told because he had an astigmatism he would require toric contacts and they had to order them and we would have to come back in a few days and they were 140 for each eye so 280 for 6 months plus tax well tomorrow will be a week I called and they told me that his were on back order you had my number you could have called so we paid 75 for an exam and a fitting and trial pair of 2 week contacts and dont know when we will get the contacts not happy
