Horrible customer service and zero planning or accountability. They attempted to cancel my reservation twice in two weeks and then delayed my rental by half a day. Completely understand that it is busy but I spent my money and they asked for the time and verified. Then I got a call after 3pm to change my appointment for the following morning at 8:30am. Just say no if you cannot meet your commitments. If I was not totally screwed by timing I would go ANYWHERE else! Now on hold for an hour and wasting more of my time

We needed a hitch to be installed. U-Haul gave us a best quote, 3 times cheaper than Honda dealership. This facility had a convenient appointment on Sunday. They did work fast and with a good quality. Courteous staff. Answered all our questions. They have a big assortment of products for moving. Very clean store area. I can recommend them.

They have signs everywhere posting propane refills 24/7... but when we got there 2 minutes after 5 they said they were closed and wouldnt do the refill. When I pointed out the 24/7 sign, they said yeah, 24/7 but only when we are open....thats not how 24/7 works...

I made a reservation for 20’ truck. When I pickup, the employee said I cannot rent a truck drive to LA. They told me to call 1(800) number to rent truck as trip. I have to drop off the truck at LA. I ask them how can I came back? Also the pricing huge difference rent a truck as trip or by days.Poor customer service.Anthony

Best option for your in-town moving needs. Truck rental was only $19.95, plus a small fee to borrow a furniture dollie.

We used this Uhaul location for supplies and rentals. I rarely write reviews but the experience with this location was outstanding. Very professional, helpful, friendly and wonderful customer service. Better service than I have received from any other company recently. They are also priced very competitively.Highly recommended for any moving needs.

If you pay with cash...you may have to wait...and wait...and wait.Apparently only the owner (drawer he was on) was able to take cash. Unfortunately, I had to listen to every quotable option for a one-way rental from CA to AZ with truck and trailer sizes/costs, etc. I was the ONLY customer in the store and I asked the 3 other employees in the store if they could say something to the owner on the phone. BTW, the owner did an OUTSTANDING job of providing customer service to essentially someone calling in from the comfort of their home to shop pricing options and availability (I give that service 5 STARS).I however had to wait until the owner was finished before he could take my cash. He was so engrossed in what he was doing, he had no idea (again, employees didnt want to bother him as he was almost done...with the never ending phone quote [why Im leaving 3 stars] I was standing in the next register over. That rental quote may never materialize, but I was standing there with cash (obviously cash is no longer king) in hand to pay for my $70 purchase. It always amazes me (and a pet peeve) that businesses will give priority to phone calling customers over those waiting in the store to pay in person right now.How about Thank you for calling, please hold while I take care of the customers that took the time and effort to come into my store and buy something?Would I visit/purchase again from this location? Yep, only game in town. Only next time Ill call first to get all my questions answered and ask who has the cash drawer that day (imagine the nerve of those goobers who still use that green cloth).

I made a reservation for.the small box truck a week prior to pickup. However when I arrived the employees where holding the last small box truck for someone who called in for the truck. During this employee confusion I went ahead and took a van which took me 3 trips.Poor decision making by the employees who gave the truck to a call in while the customer was waiting for the truck that was reserved. To hurry my pick up I took the van however the incompetency of the staff led to poor customer service.If this happens to you in the future don’t let the staff at UHaul in Dublin get away with poor customer service.Anthony

Cheapest prices in town sure, but worst customer experience. Like others have mentioned, U-Haul will absolutely confirm a reservation at your requested location and then change the pick-up location the day before. The website should provide real-time inventory and block users from reserving at a location that doesnt actually have expected availability of the product/service! Also, please re-invest in training your store-line teams , as well as software upgrades for some of your other features outside of truck rentals. U-boxes were a foreign concept, mobile check-in failed and Im still being charged for a storage unit that was closed out (in-person) 2 months ago. I will never use them again to say the least.With regard to the Dublin, CA location specifically, this has been the roughest staff to work with for my out-of-state moving needs, and I ended up working with about 4 different offices between two states. Dublin never picks up the phone, so I am always transferred to a representative which has been fine until now. I a contesting a recent charge and have been referred back to the Dublin office from both the 800# and Live Chat, but I cannot get through to anyone locally. I am beyond frustrated with always having to chase after them. My email to general customer service has gone unanswered, so Ive had to resort to leaving a review.

Extremely convenient and helpful staff. U-Haul has come to the rescue many times for us. Pick-up is relatively easy and drop-off is also very convenient since you can do so off-hours. We have refilled our propane tanks here as well, and its great that they are open 7 days/week. The staff has always been very helpful, and I also like that at times there are free used boxes to use. Ive used them over 5 times now and have not had a bad experience yet.

After driving almost 2000 miles I arrived in Dublin, Ca and entered the equipment return area. I waited for a while and decided to start preparing to unload my car. An employee saw me doing this and said nothing. I was able to unload my car by myself, and also the trailer.All of this without being greeted by an employee, I’m also disabled so you can imagine me fumbling around to do this. I took footage of how “busy” the location was.My irritated wife then told the employees how we felt, and we were asked for which receipt and we said email it and took off with our truck to unload it.5 minutes later I receive a phone call and am told I can’t just return the trailer I must return my truck also, being 5 days early on my one way contract I couldn’t understand why they couldn’t accept the trailer. Who unloads a truck with a trailer attached?I had to drive back to the location and argue this with the employee whose name she would not give me, I learned later she was new and did not know her own policies, but her fellow employees did not defend her or attempt to correct the situation. I had to say the trailer is yours and continue with my move.I was compensated a sum of 40.00 after spending over $1700 with uhaul. The level of incompetency at this location is horrible. Yelp reviews and accompanying YouTube footage will follow. Don’t rent here go anywhere else.

Pretty much know what to expect when coming here. Overall the staff is friendly and pretty quick. It can get very busy at times especially with the phone calls coming in. This is also my go to spot for propane tank refills and any type of towing or box truck rentals.

Made an appointment online. Called to confirm. Driver 45 minutes to get there. Then they cancel and take no responsibility. No sorry.Just you can cone back tomorrow.

This was the worst service EVER!!!!! I made my reservation 6 days in advance. Got confirmation by text that my rental was good to go. Place of pickup changed 4 times. It was further and further away and in the opposite direction. I will never use this service again. Also hold times on the phone are soooo long. I’m so frustrated.

I have been coming to this U-Haul location for over 15 years - over the last three years this place has really changed - for the better. All the associates are friendly and try and move business along quickly and effectively to ensure you get out fast.Great job!!!!!

Everything you need for your move. The prices are very reasonable. Liked their promise to pay back for the unused items, so bought more than I thought (and used more as well :). The stuff is friendly and professional, the manager personally helped us in one case, very nice and responsive guy.

Smiling friendly staff, and easy quick hassle free service for propane fill. Pay for amount filled at $3.39 a gallon. Pretty good. Will Definitely come back.

Made reservations a month ahead of time with Antioch UHAUL online .. only to learn they do not honor online reservation .. my online reservation was put in a UHAUL 20miles away a total of 40 miles to drive .. I use cash and to find out in California they penalize you and charge a deposit fee .. call the place you want to rent from to make reservations DO NOT GO ONLINE ... DO NOT USE CASH cost more .. USE AT OWN RISK ..

Greg ordonez is the owner and completely unprofessional. go visit another uhaul dealer and save the grief. this guy charged me 4000$ for a uhaul within the first 2 weeks of having it and i have proof to post if greg has any doubt. charged me 2000$ for a furniture dolly that was never received in the truck (do your inventory greg or is that just a part of your scams?)***this guy will leave negative reviews on your business even though he has never done business there***save yourself trouble and go to another uhaul. there are many of them. worth the trip to the next one. do not support this clown.

Good professional staff. We have used their storage units twice and have had good experiences both times. Sometimes they are a little slow when first setting up or arranging for a truck rental but I get the impression thats more the fault of the U-Haul system than their lack of effort.

I only gave 2 stars because he wasn’t mean or rude. Wish I could say a name but he didn’t even introduce himself to make me feel welcome. He handed me a piece of paper and that was that, didn’t off to show me a unit or discuss further pricing. 🕸🕷

A complete storage service site. Complete moving supply center with vehicles, trailers and vans along with dolleys/hand trucks, boxing solutions, tapes, clear-wrap & rope. Trailer hitches sold and installed and electrical wiring to keep you safe. Propane is sold here as well so you can fill-up your 5 gallon container or you RV too. Friendly, knowledgeable service.

My experience was great. They knew I was in a hurry and had me checked out quickly. I told them I may be later then the agreement stated and they said no problem with no additional charge. The off hour check-in was also extremely convenient.

Trailer was there waiting as requested. Jeff called me to confirm reservation and few times and was sure to have a trailer waiting for us. Jesus helped get the trailer connected to our truck, and even took the extra time to reverse our trailer hitch ball to get a better angle of attachment for the trailer to hitch. A+ service

We booked cargo van online a week advance for the past weekend( 12-01-2018 ) from this place. But, we reach the place to pick the van at scheduled time. First of all, we waited for an hour in the queue..what makes them to process so slow🤷🏻‍♀️Secondly, once we reached the counter to our surprise we got to know that Van is not available here and we shall go to Pleasanton office for the pick up.• This entire hassle wasted our 1.5 hour, when our slot for the elevator at new apartments were pre-fixed. This lead to delay of everything. These people should have the least courtesy to call in advance and inform about unavailability.• We booked a cab and reached this place. Due to unavailability , we had to book another cab to reach pleasanton office . Because of this shifting of pick up and drop off location. We wasted around 30-40$ in all this hassle.Really disappointment with the arrangement in this office particularly!

The GM doesnt realize peoples time is money. If this was the case people would be flying in and out of that location making more $ than they already do... the business style needs a tune up, a speedy one.

Was told they had a bunch of 14 foot box trucks for sale, however they were pretending their 17 foot trucks were 14s just to get the sale. Three other locations in the area told the same lie, costing my company over a thousand dollars and leaving me stuck with no other options financially except to be stuck buying a truck that I dont have enough parking space for. Ive bought 3 trucks from Uhaul and this was certainly my last. They had one young guy working that was very helpful with showing me and then selling me the 17 foot truck. Also, buying boxes takes no priority over buying a truck at this location, even if youve been waiting all day. Ive bought 3 trucks from Uhaul, but this was definitely the last time theyll get my business.

I was nervous seeing all these bad reviews. After all, Ive had all kinds of experiences with U-Haul: good, bad, ugly and indifferent. That said, this location wasnt the worlds most efficient U-Haul team, but neither were they bad. They were decent, friendly, reasonably helpful and got me what I needed when I needed it. All in all, they were okay.

In store at Dublin was fine.When I had to call to adjust my reservation, they completely broke down. I had to be transferred at minimum, 12-15 times, but was never transferred to the correct department for assistance. I started to ask if they would stay on the line to ensure I was being transferred to the correct person and several times they agreed to do so, but instead put me right back into their automated system, leaving me hanging again and again. When someone would finally attempt to help and not pass the buck, Id then discover they needed to transfer me again, because they couldnt complete the transaction, only to find out later, the change they made was completely incorrect. I had to start my reservation over from scratch 3 times with three different people. Every time Id write the reservation number down and somehow the next associate wouldnt be able to pull it up. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!

Made a reservation online, the guy at the counter kept telling me they had no trucks to use, I look out in the parking lot and see multiple trucks and different sizes. Sounds like he also didn’t want to help.

I realize people have had a variety of experiences, but personally, I have rented trucks from the Dublin Uhaul several times and have always received excellent customer service, and no issues with the trucks, or with the process or picking up or returning them. Compared with some other UHaul places I have been to, a few of which are pretty sketchy, I rank Dublin as a place I would be comfortable using in the future.

The 17 truck was filthy on the outside. The truck must have had a million miles on it because I had to work the steering wheel to the left then right then left ... just to keep the truck in the middle of the road. It was frightening and dangerous!
