Today I purchased a luxurious sideboard for my dining room, my salesperson was Norman Montgomery. Norman was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and patient, he also followed Covid19 protocols. After confirming that this sideboard was the last one and it would not be available again for sale, he pulled it out and we both went over it thoroughly to ensure there was no damage and he answered all of my questions and concerns. Norman took every available precaution to ensure I was completely satisfied before I actually purchased this item. My experience today will definitely allow me to recommend the Dump to my friends and colleagues and family for their furniture needs.

This place has no customer service. They jump to take your money but you get no help after they get your money. We purchased a bed and mattress and when I pulled around to load it the items where set out at my truck and I was told to load it myself. The bed was not to bad loading but the king mattress was very hard to load by myself. Then 30 days after the purchase the bed broke. When I call customer service I was asked to send pictures to speed up my Claim. I sent the photos as soon as I got of the phone. The next day I was told they would repair the bed. When I asked when the repair would happened they told me I would get a call that afternoon to schedule the repair. I did not get the call. The next day I call again to follow up and asked to speak to a manager I was told they would call me back that has not happened yet. I asked if I could return the bed and get a refund they told me to call the store but the Atlanta store will not answer their phone. It is Friday night and no manger or repair person has called to help resolve our issue. So I guess we will go the weekend without a bed.I guess they got their name from where the products end up the dump.KristaLet’s be truthful about how you handled my issue. You sold a defective product and would not take it back. You said you opened a service ticket immediately, why did it talk 5 days to get a return phone call? Is your service department so busy repairing the products you sell you can’t respond sooner? I called Multiple times as asked to speak to a manager and I was told they would return my call, I’m still waiting for that call. I called every number for the store and not one would answer. If I had not went to Home Depot and got the material to repair my bed I would still be sleeping on the couch. If you don’t want to do the right thing and at least pay for the material I had to buy to repair your bad product that just shows what kind of company you are. No customer service after you get your money!

I arrived 40 minutes prior to closing. I was greeted by an extremely professional representative. I needed to buy a piece that was in stock and high-quality. Within 20 minutes I was able to pick several pieces out because they have an incredible selection. The sales professional quickly identified what was in stock. I was able to confirm my purchase and will pick up the piece tomorrow and I simply could not be more impressed and happy with the decision I made to come here today. They have an incredible staff that is professional and knowledgeable.

Kirk made this such a wonderful experience! My mom could only go to the DUMP if there were scooters or wheelchairs available. I asked during my scheduling but no one responded. We went anyway taking her own personal scooter. When we arrived we found this was not an amenity for customers and was glad we brought our own. I on the other hand, recently had surgery and get winded if i walk too long. Kirk, gladly provided a manual wheelchair for MY use. And he didnt mind pushing me from one end of the warehouse-sized facility to the other!! I love this guy!! He managed to accommodate us and we purchased close to $10k in merchandise!!! I was greeted by sales associate -Kelly. She was very kind and knowledgeable about her inventory.I had a specific couch color and material choice in mind.Kelly knew exactly where to take me so I could make a selection. With her help and expertise I found exactly what I was looking for.I was so happy that I bought additional items. This was only my second time at the Dump, and it won’t be my last.My husband recently passed away and Kelly was very understanding of my feelings. Great sales associate.

We worked with Ashley Briendin! She was awesome. She touched base with us when we arrived and showed us a few options. We found what we needed and she was very knowledgeable and efficient with completing purchase. We left Haverty’s after a terrible experience so she was a breath of fresh air.

The dining room set and matching China cabinet was better in person than on line. The salesman, Sergio, was very helpful and patient with us. Although we have to wait until November for the delivery, I know we will be happy with our selection. We would recommend The Dump to everyone. Dont let the name fool you !

Purchased a mattress and a pillow top. The delivery men brought the mattress in first. So far, so good. Then they brought in the accompanying pillow top, which clearly was the wrong size. I ordered a queen of both and the pillow top hung off both sides of the queen sized mattress by at least six inches. When I pointed this out to the deliveryman, he assured me that the pillow top was the right size and that it would compress over time. Of course I said Id never heard anything so ridiculous in my life. The label says its a queen, he assured me. I dont care what the label says, I replied, this is clearly not a queen sized pillow top.Ill have to call it in, he informed me, which he did. His superior asked to take a photo of the mattress and pillow top, which he did, and sent it to his superior, who then asked to speak with me. He proceeded to try to convince me that the pillow top was the right size. Theres no way youre going to convince me of that, I informed him, so dont even waste both of our time trying.Finally they agreed to take it away and assured me that someone from the office would be in touch with me within 48 hours to resolve the issue. To date (over a month later), I still have not heard from anyone from The Dump. I finally had to reach out to American Express (I used their card to pay for the items) to dispute the charge and have it removed from my credit account, which they did.I will never shop at The Dump again.

I stopped at The Dump ATL on 10/2 for the first time since relocating to the Atlanta Metropolitan area.I was pleasantly surprised with the affordable pricing for bedroom sets and furnishings in comparison to other furniture location in the surrounding area. Great service provided by Anna to myself and my accommodating friend looking to furnish her new spot in the city. I’ll definitely be returning.

We bought lots of furniture at The Dump when we first moved her two years ago and came back today to get some more. They have a huge selection ranging from budget to high end. Norman helped us out today and he was wonderful! He didnt hover but was paying attention in case we needed his assistance. Ultimately we ended up buying 4 chairs for our keeping room and a new theater sofa for our theater room. He was very helpful and even walked us all around the store to try to find tables to match (which we never did find).

My brother LOVES The Dump and has MANY beautiful things from them, so when I made a trip from the Carolinas, this store was a MUST! They have so much quality furniture and accessories. I found some BEAUTIFUL, large pillows! The price, AMAZING! (So unexpected, I bought 2)It will always be a stop spot when I come to the Atlanta area.

My experience at the dump is always great. I have been shopping with them since 2013 and the quality of all their furniture items for the hone are exceptional. This most recent visit, Adrian was our sales person. He was very helpful, answers all of my questions and was very patient.

We received great customer service. The sales rep was helpful, honest, and kind. The manager made sure we were being helped. We witnessed them helping each other as they assisted us with our purchase of new bedroom furniture. We were pleased with our overall experience of shopping at The Dump.

If I could leave negative stars I would! Do not recommend, very ghetto! They lied to us about being able to pick up the old mattress when they delivered the new one just to get us to buy from them. When the drivers got there, they told us that they didn’t do that. I called the store and the first salesman ( His name is Ireti) told me that it didn’t have anything to do with him. I asked to speak to the salesman who sold us the mattress ( His name was Ronald), and was told that he didn’t want to speak to me! I have never been treated so rudely in my life! I will never ever shop with this company again!! I spent over $2000 and was going back to spend more. However, I’d rather buy my stuff from anywhere else than here! Save your time and money and shop elsewhere! I’ll pay double if it means I can get good customer service!

Certainly The Dump has nice furniture pieces at discounted pricing but the pricing is not so low as to justify the old check out process that they have. Their system must be patched over a hundred times since 1980! The time that it takes to make the purchase ruins any positive customer experience. It takes about 45 minutes and then they print everything out and you sign it and then you must hand write a delivery order that’s chock full of threats related to a 15% restocking fee if you don’t pick up the first time they call! I found some lovely pieces but I won’t shop there again until The Dump starts to appreciate a positive customer experience. I totally get no frills to justify the discounts, but The Dump takes no frills to an unworkable level as far as the customer experience goes. No thanks!!

Today I visited The Dump Atlanta for the first time. The store is very nice. Fadia helped us and was wonderful. Our new sofa is to be delivered on 10/6/21. Will update at that time . Very happy with experience today.

Read and listen carefully. There is something about that name....THE DUMP! Everything is very pricey and in person, everything looks cheaper than it costs. The workers say one thing, but than do another. The salespeople are usually nice and knowledgeable about their work but, half the time what they tell you is NOT always the truth. I learned the hard way their salespeople cant be trusted!!!

Both were very knowledgeable and helpful as I selected the right guest room mattress selection. I have purchased rugs at this location in the past, and all my experiences there have been positive!

Kelli was a wonderful associate. She encouraged us to take pix of the floor model we purchased to make sure it looks exactly the same upon delivery. I was a little disappointed we didn’t get anything off for purchasing the floor model but we did buy the warranty which she explained throughly

We walked into The Dump to look around for dining room tables as options for a future kitchen renovation we are planning. As we walked the floor we noticed the mattress section, which we happen to need a new mattress. We started testing the inventory and Brian, awesome customer service representative, approached us with information on the mattresses. He led us into the Aireloom section and really provided us with valuable information about this brand. We found one that worked for us and decided to get it before the inventory ran out. We are very happy with the mattress we got and especially the priced we paid. The Dump never disappoints with the level of inventory they carry.

From the moment we walked in we had a great experience. Our sales rep Ireti was amazing. He assisted us in finding our new kitchen table. We will definitely return for future purchases.

Great experience in the store. We didnt purchase while we were there, but I really loved the sofa and chair and decided thats what I really wanted. We called back, since we live 2 hours away, and were able to make the purchase without having to come back in to the store. Ms. Patsy was wonderful!

Selection is 5 stars, but the rest is bad. Furniture we ordered came nearly 2 months after the date it was promised with no transparency. Wed call and have to wait on hold for 20-30 min to get someone and even then they had no idea what was going on. The sales reps struggled to use their computers so purchasing took over an hour. Come to find out other stores had the things we ordered for slightly more money but readily available.

Without question one the most consistent furniture stores on Atlanta. Reasonable pricing for high quality choices. If you need one piece or multiple rooms. You can find it here. Great Staff, helpful and knowledgeable. Modern and contemporary stand out, but here is also lighting, lamps and outdoor choices.

PLEASE! I REPEAT! PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THE PROTECTION PLAN unless you have money to throw away. They dont care about you after youve spent thousands of dollars on furniture. I been calling this place and GPS to service two small stains on my 5k sectional sofa set. 4 Technician has been out and not one has completed the service of cleaning my sofa, these spots are literally minor. I honestly think theyre afraid to touch the sofa due to the type of fabric. Dont sell protection plans if youre not sure if theyre able to service certain type of Fabric.

We bought a house in ATL and needed to furnish the whole house. I was changing from traditional style to contemporary modern. My son suggested“The Dump”! I was skeptical about the name & was concerned that the store would be a DUMP where everything was cheap and poorly made. To my surprise, the Dump was anything but. I was able to find the perfect table and tables to fit my vision and my budget. I had very enthusiastic salespeople and everything went smoothly. I’m sure that I will be going to the Dump for more furniture to complete my house furnishings.

Recent Bad experience from The Dump, We were looking for top grain leather sectional sofa with recliner. The sales associate had shown one which he confirmed that it’s shown top grain leather in their system. We finalized the sofa and even applied for finance with 20% down payment. Suddenly we had an intuition and asked proof for top grain leather. Then he was searching in google for a proof and finally admitted that it’s not top grain leather. We cancelled the order even wasted one credit inquiry.

As someone who works in sales I appreciated the level of salesmanship at this location. Allin was very accommodating and when he didn’t know the answer to a question he would quickly work with his superiors to facilitate my needs.I’ve never made a purchase at the dump and I will definitely be back .

I bought a bed frame for a price. After a week waiting to be delivered they called me saying they scan the wrong item and the real price is double that I payed. To get a refund and to have my money back I have to wait more than a week and of course Im still without a bed frame. The name of this place say everything, its garbage. A suggestion for a better name: The Dumb

Hard to reach anyone but I will continue. Paid for the adjustable bed with the Airloom mattress. Worst ever and expensive. I want to return it! I wish I had looked at reviews but the Dump salesperson said it’s their best! It’s true to the reviews, it sags and I sink downward while sleeping. I haven’t rested well since I purchased it and I haven’t had it 5 months! I thought the indentation was because it has to bend to adjust but it’s $1900 down the drain if I can’t get satisfaction. It’s the worst mattress ever!

We have purchase furniture for The Dump before. Today we were looking for a dining room set. We found what we wanted. The salesman helping us, was very nice. He answered our questions but didn’t stand over us while we decided. My only reason for only 4 stars, is we have to wait over a month to get the furniture. That’s just the table and chairs. Our matching extra piece may/or may not come in the same time. So we possibly could wait longer.

I usually do not post negative reviews but I am very upset about my current issue at The Dump.Me and my partner ordered a sectional couch April 24 2021. We were told it was going to come in about 6 weeks. Around week 7 we got a delivery and were so excited!Unfortunately, only one piece of our 2 piece sectional didnt arrive. We chalked it up to a miscommunication and happily had the delivery workers put in the one piece.My partner and I then spent around 2 hrs on their customer service line trying to talk to someone. By the time I got through to Corporate (not the ATL location) we were already en-route to The Dump.The lady who helped us was very nice and told us that our second half would come in 7-14 days.I called to check in on the status about 3 days later and the woman on the phone said it was en-route to their store and we should have it by 6/12.Well-- my partner called today and now it isnt arriving until the end of July!! UNACCEPTABLE! We were promised an earlier date TWICE and now we have to wait much longer!We dont mind waiting IF WE KNEW AHEAD OF TIME but no one ever communicated with us that1. Only 1 piece would be delivered2. When our other piece would be delivered3. Understanding our need for a couch/sympathy/admitting their fault (we had a company pick up our old couch and discard it)So, now we have half a sectional, no real time line of when the second piece will be delivered, and a horrible taste in our mouths for this company. Zero communication, impossible to talk to anyone, and a very very very small refund for our troubles. Honestly, the tiny refund felt like more like hush money so we would leave the store and leave them alone.I hope to update this review for the better once we receive our couch - however, my expectations are low.I DO NOT recommend The Dump to anyone who needs furniture in a reasonable amount of time.Edit:Couch was promised 6/28 - couldn’t be delivered so then it was promised today 6/30 - now it is delayed AGAIN and apparently never made it to Atlanta. If it’s not there be honest! I would rather have a real wait time than all these promises destroyed.Edit— it’s 7/24 and I still don’t have a the other half of my sectional couch. I am so very disappointed.

Found what I was looking for. Paul Le, my salesman, was awesome to work with. Took time to demonstrate the product. Explained the warranty on the product and what I need to do to maintain the warranty. Paul was very knowledgeable about the product and very personable.

Areti was fabulous as our sales person and so was the manager in the pick up department. She worked with us to open our boxes to confirm there was no damage before we left the warehouse. Really good experience.

The delivery guys were prompt and great in setting up my bed and making sure all was to my satisfaction.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I will never order anything from this place again. We ordered a couch that was delivered on Friday. They couch that they delivered was broken, the reading lights did not work and the arm rest was broken as well. Before the drivers left we made them aware of the issue and they told us someone would be out to fix it in 30mins…well that was a lie. Than they made us call customer service who never answers and another number to have someone come our to fix it. When we spoke to them they said someone would call us back and never did so I called them. Now their saying it will take 2weeks for someone to come and fix the couch which is ridiculous. People spend their hard earned money with this establishment and it’s not fair to treat them like dirt after you’ve gotten their money. This couch was delivered broken and they had the nerve to tell us we have to wait. No Sir

Atlanta store lied to me said they would compensate me for not delivering the correct base for my mattress when they called me the amount they wanted to give me was a lot less. I had a corrected sales order with a new numberWhen I went back to the store to show them the paperwork and told him this was legal and binding paperwork all he said was so what and did not honor the fatales order.

The furniture was pretty good quality at a reasonable price. The only reason I gave this a 3 star is because no one spoke to us the entire 30 minutes we were in the store. I prefer not to have a salesman breathing down my neck but no one even said hello. We left the store without buying this time around because no one spoke.

When I first went in, I was a breeze and the sales rep was so helpful. My issue didnt start until after I placed my order.Because trying to get in touch with customer service here is impossible!Ive tried calling multiple times about my order status for my mattress with no luck and when I was finally able to reach on the corporate line, the corporate people couldnt even reach the store. 10 days after placing my order, I was told by a manager they dont have it anymore and I could be refunded or come pick a new mattress. I went the next day and again another sales rep was wonderful and helped my find one that they had in store. When I went to compete my order at the service desk I was told I would receive a call the day before on the time frame of when it would be delivered. I waited all day and didnt get anything. Because I learned my lesson about waiting for this store, I called and corporate had to tell me when they would be coming. I never received any call that day like they said I would. So I wouldve been shocked when the delivery showed up at 8:30am.The delivery itself went off without a hitch. They were in and out in 10mins.Overall, my interactions with the employees in person or on the phone have been pleasant. Everyone is respectful. But the whole middle section to get you to speak with someone needs some serious work.

Absolutely obsessed with this place. If you want unique pieces for a reasonable price this is your spot. Went to this store and wanted to buy it all. If you come to this store and you see an item you love buy it right there in the spot because they dont keep lots of the same items on inventory. Their furniture is very high quality and beautiful.

Sergio is such a pleasant & friendly salesperson along with the Operations Manager. They did everything in his power to make sure that any questions was answered and I was aware of every offer available. I purchased this huge, Gorgeous, soft chocolate leather sectional at a great price. And I enjoyed every moment of it. Since then, I have purchased more & referred others to do business there.

I love the Dump. There is always a great selection and creative design ideas. Make sure you stop in clearance for rare deals and deep discounts. I do a lot of comparison shopping and it is hard to beat the dump on most items.

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE , TERRIBLE !HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! They wont answer any of the phones. I paid for a 6 piece queen bedroom set and mattress and they set up a full mattress which the delivery men said was the correct one. I was able to get to the salesperson only because he gave me his personal cell number. I understand why now. After I sent pictures of the mattress on the bed before the delivery men left, the salesman got another delivery date which was another seven day wait. When the exchange mattress didnt arrive during the time that was given, I called to check on when the truck would be arriving. I got no one on any of the numbers listed, even the customer service number. I was put on hold by the automatic voice and after waiting, the phone automatically cut off on all numbers where I held on. I called the salesman and he said that he wasnt at work and couldnt pull up the record because it was an exchange instead of a sale. I went online to ask a question as to why no one answered the phones and the text message came back saying that they would be right with me. Nothing else and nobody called. It is now 10 pm on the delivery day and I am sooo angry. I wish I knew how to cancel the order. I will file a suit of theft if I dont get my item tomorrow. I wish that I had read the reviews before I went to the Dump so I would expect to be dumped after they got my money.

My experience was totally amazing, soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted and helped by Ireti. He helped me find exactly what I was looking for; he was also very helpful and informative when it came to decorating. Overall I had a really great experience and would definitely come back and recommend The Dump to everyone.

We came into The Dump to buy a new mattress. Oliver was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the product. We didn’t feel any pressure to buy one mattress or another and were free to try out any in their selection. The staff overall was excellent and made the buying experience enjoyable!

This was my first time purchasing furniture for myself, since I usually got my mothers hand-me-downs (which are still pristine b/c of how she takes care of things). I had been coming here a few times just checking things out. My sales person was Oliver and he was AMAZING! He was knowledgable, super friendly, patient, and fun! He made this whole process very easy and not overwhelming which I can appreciate. I love my new sectional. Will I go back to the dump again? Hell yeah! Great selection! Great prices for someone like me, and a great sales person. Thank you again!

I placed an order 5 months ago, and still have yet to get an update on delivery. You will never get in touch with them by phone or get a response to an email. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Stay away from this place! Definitely do NOT pay them for delivery. The sofa we bought seems to be good, but the delivery was a nightmare! Too many problems to list here, but the main ones were: 1. Failure to setup the large, several piece sectional sofa properly before they ran out the door. 2. Causing us to have to hire additional help to come to our house to finish setting it up. We had already paid $249! 3. Forging my name on the delivery slip so they could get paid. I have called numerous people numerous times for assistance--at both the store and delivery business-- and have received no assistance whatsoever. Buyer, beware! A message was posted here asking for my order number and contact info so that I could be contacted about this. I sent the information a week ago but have not been contacted. I sent this on to the Public Service Commission.

I received great customer service from TJ! He was very knowledgeable about the different types of mattress and listened to what I was looking for and found a mattress for me that I cannot wait to sleep in! Thank you so much for your help today!

We were not bombarded by sales people but as soon as we approached Sergio he helped us for 45 minutes and made a great commission! The prices, selection, and warranties are absolutely incredible. Hats off to the dump.:-)
