Most unprofessional group of people. Really showed their class in service dept. Rude with their response. Didn’t give a direct answer as to when the car would be ready. Kept getting different responses. Refused to help with transportation when this vehicle is brand new with several issues. What has happened to treating customers with respect today. No and no I will never purchase a Nissan from this place. Their is an etiquette class that is offered for being a professional . Suggest this place look into it.

One of my tires had been losing pressure for a couple of days. I didnt know the service center took the last customer at 4:30 om Friday (it was a holiday weekend). I called at 4:15 but the service department allowed me to come in anyway. The service desk personnel came out and immediately located the problem. They had me back in the road by 5 and they didnt even break my bank account. I went in for a coolant flush. All debris should have been cleared from the system and fresh coolant added (clear green color). However, this is what it looks like after 24 hours and $203.I sent them a picture and was told that the manager would call me the next day… I still haven’t heard from him. Meanwhile, I have a car that I can’t drive over the weekend….As much as I like them, I would be wary and hesitant to use and/or recommend them at this point. I will update this review according based on their action.

I had an excellent experience at Townsend Nissan. It was my first time buying my own vehicle and I was beyond please. I purchased a 2020 Nissan Altima platinum and I’m in love. The sales person was Brad Trull and was very helpful and easy to work with. He has also been helpful since like with the app and stuff. I’d recommend this dealership to everyone!

I have been using Townsend for years. We have been a Nissan family for 30 years and my most recent purchase was a 2018 Pathfinder that I purchased new. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Never have I paid for a tire rotation but when I received my bill there was a $19.99 charge. I was unaware they charged extra for that. I also did not receive the normal paper that showed what all the checkpoints analysis was. I usually receive that when I pick up my keys. Im not a happy camper.

Went in to specifically inquire about a pre-owned sedan. Already sold, I was told. Salesman spent the better part of the afternoon trying to sell me a new car, despite my acknowledged price range. Everytime I mentioned a used car on their website I was told it was no longer there and was given a lecture on why buying new was better. Finally found a car I was interested in but at a considerable markup. I used their websites payment calculator using all the specific information the salesman had given me (APR, trade-in, etc) and found a huge discrepancy in the online price and their quoted price.I expect a certain amount of flim-flam from car salesmen but this was insulting.

Service dept was very nice!!! Laura was awesome!! She was able to squeeze my car in without an apt (which would’ve been at the end of this month) and got it fixed within 3 days!! She explained everything to me and the price breakdown and as a young lady not knowing anything about cars, I appreciated that and not trying to up-sell me. And the price was fantastic!! I was expecting a couple thousand but only spent a couple hundred instead. Will definitely be returning (but hopefully I won’t have to lol)

Received a coupon for an oil change in the mail. Decent price. Also wanted to do the winter weatherization. My sister followed me to the dealership as I was going to leave my car and return to work. Fifteen minutes later I get a call from Laura saying Your car wont crank, hun WHAT!!!! Its probably your battery Noooooo, I have had absolutely no problems with my car! My battery is fine. Well I need to know what you want to do because it needs to come out of our bay...we have OTHER customers....Meanwhile, I am at work dumbfounded because there was NOTHING, NOTHING wrong. My battery was just fine and didn’t need to be replaced. A Nissan 7- year battery is no good after 2 yrs and 5 months....you have got to be kidding me!!! I purchased the battery but NEVER again. Im a stickler for dealership services (oil changes, tires, rotations, etc...) but this dealership service department just lost my business....I was scammed and no one will convince me otherwise.

(Edited review) Service department is awful. They don’t answer the phone, return calls or let you know what’s going on with your vehicle or if/when it’s ready to be picked up. I’ll be taking my business to another dealership in the future.Update: apparently the person that was “taking care of me” was the problem. He is no longer working for the company. Took my car back today to complete the warranty work that was in progress when I wrote the earlier review. Now only was that work completed but they also addressed a new problem I was having as well as completed my oil change and servicing as well. And stayed a little late to be sure I got my vehicle back the same day.

I called several times over about two weeks to check prices. Every time I called I was told they would have someone call back or put on hold then told they would have someone call back. The first time a man called back several hours after my first call. He was rude and acted like he didnt have time to talk. He also answered what seemed like a personal call with a friend during our conversation and talked to that person for a minute or so. I could hear the whole time. His demeanor changed to much less formal. The next time I was told someone would call back shortly. I didnt get a call that day or the next day. I called again. That time I got someone to call back in maybe an hour. I spoke to a woman who gave me prices. The main thing I wanted to check and have done was my spark plugs. My car requires the intake manifold to be removed. The woman told me it would be $160 and could be done in one day without an appointment as long as I got it there by ten. I made the trip there next day at 8:15 with a ride waiting so I could leave my car and get to work. The first thing the woman asked was if my car was the one where the intake manifold had to come off. I told her it was. She said it would be $580. I told her I just talked to someone the day before who gave me a price of $160. She proceeded to argue with me. She had an attitude and acted like she didnt care and had no time to talk just like the man I talked to before. She asked who I had talked to, but I didnt know. I didnt think I needed to get names of the people, because I never thought I might be mislead and then questioned about names. She said the person on the phone probably didnt realize which car mine was. I told her I made sure she knew mine was the one where the intake manifold had to come off, and she then reassured me of the price and that it would be done in one day. Then the woman told me she remembered talking to me and that they immediately called back to let me know they had it wrong but that I didnt answer. She said they left a voicemail. I told her I had no record of a call or voicemail. She said maybe they called someone. I asked her if they would honor their quote. She told me they werent doing it for $160. I reiterated they quoted that price the day before. She said thats why they left me the voicemail. I again told her I never got a call or voicemail. It seemed as if she was making it up. She said they werent doing it for that price and said sorry. I thanked her and left. I did the entire service myself for about $60. I will never pay for service or purchase a vehicle from Nissan again if I can help it, especially from this location. They had horrible service all around. They were rude, not knowledgeable, careless, dismissive, and I feel like I was lied to multiple times. If thats how they treat customers who just ask questions, I wonder how they follow procedures and treat their vehicles when they do service them and how much attention and care they give to their contracts.

Mike Ganey was extremely rude and very persistent in showing no respect for the customer. I came in for service not knowing the hours had changed on weekends because normal people work on weekdays. I asked what are the new times, he replied I dont have service here. I asked do I have to make an appointment? He replied to everything I asked with, I dont have service here very rudely regardless to what I asked. I had to take off work Monday get my vehicle serviced, Mike Ganey recognized me and began to eyeball me with a frown. Upon checking my vehicle in and waiting in the designated area, he departed his desk to the service clerk and ask them what was my reasoning and business for coming in. That wasnt his business being that he work vehicle sales and leasing. He acted as if he had a personal vendetta. He is very unprofessional, rude and think hes a bully.

Told on Friday to come in Monday and I would be taken care of. Show up Monday and wait 2 and a half hours only to then be told they didnt have the part and I would have to come back Tuesday. They sent me home with intermittent tail lights and my car wouldnt always start. I feel it was very dangerous to send a customer home with such a serious safety problem. No offer of rental car or anything, just go home and come back tomorrow. So I come in Tuesday, they fixed my car, then when I drove away, I realized my car wouldnt accelerate properly. I returned to the dealership, and was told they didnt install the brake switch properly and that was the problem. Repair guy comes out, wiggles some things under the dash and then asks can he test drive it to make sure it is working properly. Why wasnt a test drive done in the first place? Not to mention the paper I was given showing what work was done had my signature forged, and when I mentioned that this wasnt my signature, the lady snatched the paper away and printed another one and told me its a normal practice for her to sign things for warranty work.I wont come back to this dealership because they are gonna end up killing somebody, and its gonna be a scandal once yall look at their paperwork practices.

We had our 2010 Nissan Cube towed to dealership on a Sunday (closed). We scheduled an appointment for 8:30 Monday morning, and even called to explain the problem. At 11:30 a.m., we called service advisor Laura, who said they hadnt looked at it yet. At 4:15 p.m., she called and said that a part needed to be ordered and that it was too late in the day to order it. They couldnt order it until Tuesday and it would be in Wednesday. No contact on Tuesday. Wednesday at 4 p.m., she called to say that weve had a bad day here and we havent started on the repair yet. Im just being honest. We called corporate at that point to complain about the lack of professionalism of Laura and the lackadaisical attitude of the service department about our car. We then got a call at 9:30 a.m. Thursday that the car had been finished. We picked it up at 3 p.m., and the lights had been on in the car all day. When we found Laura, she said oh, sorry, I mustve left those on when I drove the car to the lot. It was a mistake. I noted one mistake isnt a problem, but several mistakes is a pattern and mentioned that we called Nissan Corporate to report the behavior. She responded: Oh I know, they called here this morning. I dont know why you had to be so ugly. Seriously? Five cars with Nissan and weve never had such shoddy service. Usually, Nissan rocks, but our experiences with Townsend Nissan does not live up to the Nissan reputation. We had similar experience when looking for our last car. Our saleswoman didnt want to show us the car we wanted to look at, because another one was handier. We bought our Nissan car in Birmingham. Ill have my car worked on there as well in the future.I see Laura has had issues in the past with other reviews. I tried to call her at one point, got her voice mail, which was full and no longer accepting messages. I see shes prompt in her responses to other customers as well, NOT.A month later we have just discovered they broke our hood release, so we cant open our hood. Were going to Birmingham to get that fixed. This place is so opposite of the Nissan brand.

Tracie Guisto was great. She took time to work with us and to let us test drive any of the vehicles we wanted to, before we made our decision. She also responded to our emails and text messages promptly. I loved the fact that You guys were willing to offer us a service/maintenance deal for 3 years. thats huge. And Tracie introduced my wife to everyone(including service staff) and explained the procedures for getting the oil changed. This alone was huge because my wife normally does not like dealing with automotive shops. However this experience made her feel comfortable enough to bring the Rogue in herself for scheduled oil changes. Tracie also scheduled us in the week after purchase for a detail job, since we were unable to receive it before we left. I appreciate all the work Tracie and your staff did for us. I went in to get my tires rotated and the mechanic failed to communicate to me that I was missing a lug nut after the rotation was complete. They let me drive off the lot still missing the lug nut and I had to return two days later to get the lug nut replaced. I thought it was very dangerous and irresponsible that they let me leave without properly communicating this information to me. What if I had gotten in an accident because of this?

Weve had trouble from day one at this place. My wife and I wrote a check for the car we got. BRAND NEW ALTIMA SV! It had a scuff mark on the fender and salesman said bring it back next week and we will take care of that for you. We brought it back and salesman was no longer working there. We got a good price on the sv Altima but my wife didnt want all the extras so we paid extra for the good deal anyway. I take the car for an oil change and Ive been sitting outside for an hour and a half. I was the 4th person in line and was here when the doors opened. If it wasnt for my wife wanting a car for gas mileage then we would have bought another FORD!
