Wonderful experience on a Custom order BMW from BMW of Tuscaloosa . I was in the market for an M5. Local dealership couldn’t secure an allocation so started searching outside the state. Rob Phillips (GM) was able to secure an allocation quickly when other dealerships had a hard time securing one. The sales manager Rob phillips, Bmw Genuius Matt Eldridge, Finance manager Sean Dwyer, Parts manager Jack Stracner all true class acts. Every request was handled in a professional & courteous manner. Matt Eldridge is truly a BMW genius. Knows every aspect of the M cars. Upon receiving the car sent me a video that was highly skillful. Sean Dwyer was never pushy as a finance manager something you don’t see often. Jack Stracner made sure all the extra accessories were installed in timely manner. This is exactly how a car buying experience should be!

I would give this place less than one star if I could. Bought a vehicle, it was driven to me from out of state. Vehicle arrived to me with bald tires and a cracked windshield. I text the dealer they said they would get back to me. They never did, the ignition system went bad and I have to pay over 1 thousand dollars to get it fixed within the first month of purchase. I text the salesman again was told I would be taken care of, he never texted me again.I paid 1200 dollars for new tires then went for an engine check because the malfunction light was on exhaust hangers were bad, 02 sensors where bad, the solenoid was leaking.I called this dealership talked to the sales manager and was told they cant do anything.This place is horrible dont do deals with them.Best part is when you tell them about problems a car you bought from them just a few months ago and they say and I quote. What do you want me to do about it.

They didn’t explain everything about the car. they didn’t change all 4 tires that the tech said my suv needed then they said they would change them before I purchased the suv. I truly feel like they got over on me bc I’m a woman. They ran my credit even though I had already been approved by my bank. All I will say is don’t go there without a man present.

Had my BMW in for service, had ask to get it detailed. After receiving a call from Dave that the service was completed, I arrived to find that a few spots on the detail was lacking. Dave grabes the keys without hesitation and personally made sure that everything was up to his standards. Dave also went above and beyond to make sure my car was loaded and secured for shipment. One of the best experiences I have ever had with a service department. My daughter attends UA and being remote, I am always concerned about her safety. She recently called me with a fairly serious issue while driving her BMW so I told her to immediately head over to the Tuscaloosa dealership. They immediately made my daughter comfortable, diagnosed the problem and Shaina, the incredible service manager quickly communicated the issue to me. She was so personable, knowledgeable and made the whole experience hassle free and the best of a bad situation. I am so thankful and relieved that my daughter not only has a great contact in case of problems, but also a new friend. I highly recommend!

Hello, my first contact with this dealership was after I had been treated quite badly by a dealership in Columbus, GA. Immediately this sales team jumped into action with product information, financing options, a special YouTube video explaining everything made just for me, or so it seemed which is all that matters, right. After having trouble with BMW North America over a complaint against the other dealership, I was forced, because of principle, not to purchase, what would have been my first BMW product, but I can say without any hesitation whatsoever, that these folks at BMW of Tuscaloosa are the highest caliber of people, who will treat you right ,better than BMW will elsewhere for damn sure.. I just wish I would have come to them first. I wish them only the very best.

Great Experience!! They helped me fix my daughter’s car while I was over 800 miles away. The parts were ordered ahead of time and we arranged a tow to the dealership. It was repaired and ready to go the next morning. Very easy to deal with!!!

This was by far hands down the best experience I’ve had at any service department. The BMW service center reps took special concern in the issue I was having with my vehicle. They went out of their way not onlyto schedule me in the same day but also ensure to go out of there way to make my experience as enjoyable as possible. I had an emergency situation and they got my vehicle done in 6 hours what normally could of took a lot longer. I live in California and if I could would go back here for any BMW needs. I was south of Tuscaloosa when several warning lights went off. The dealership was extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. However, before looking at the warning lights that had gone off, I was informed there was at $250 fee for a diagnostic that with all charges was over $300. I agreed to the fee and sat and waited for over an hour, which was fine. However, once they were finished I was informed that a part was needed for a simple repair, but they would not have it in stock until the next day. I did not get the repair because the car was safe to drive and I was on my way to my destination. When I got home on Monday, I made arrangements to have the work done at the local BMW dealership in New Orleans. I learned that they charge a $150 diagnostic fee and they knew what was wrong and what part was needed just by looking at the warning lights.Before doing the diagnostic, the BMW Tuscaloosa dealership should have informed me what the problem most likely was and that they could not do the repair that day because they did not have the part in stock. I would not have agreed to the diagnostic and delayed my trip if I had known they could not do the job. I am certain that they knew they could not do the repair before they did the diagnostic but chose not to tell me that and give me the option of waiting until I got home.

Dropped off paperwork to get a lost key for my Z4 BMW...week before last. Called today. Havent ordered it. No one knew a thing about it. One lady, Laura, in parts, promises to help. Well see. Go elsewhere, friends.Update: 2019 - These folks made things right with me and are back on my list of places to get my business.Still have high labor prices, but the work done is solid. They back up their work and call me with the shocking cost before they start the work on my cars. They have worked with me before, cut some labor costs to help me out, and are nice folks.But, if you own/drive these cars, you already know that they arent cheap to own. When your car is right, (and these folks will get it right for you!) you remember why you paid a bit more for a better car.

I recently went to get some recalls fixed on my car and now it is raining in my car. I had no issues before getting the recalls fixed. When I called to get the issue resolved they said they would not fix it because they only went in the glove box to fix plugs...... guess where the water is coming in at, the glove compartment where they said they worked on it. So now I will have to spend extra money for someone else’s faulty work. Very nice people who work there but I will not be going back. Would not recommend at all go to BMW of Birmingham.

We were searching for a used car and never considered looking at BMW of Tuscaloosa until we randomly pulled in one Saturday afternoon. Mason was quick to greet us after we had hopped out of our car to check out a Camry and a Rav4. He was extremely professional and helped us out expertly - telling us about the cars we were interested in and quickly acquiring keys to the ones picked out. The cars we drove were in absolutely terrific condition and we were given the freedom to fully test drive the vehicles how we wanted to. Mason was clear and concise during the purchasing process and Tawnya was exceptionally helpful with financing the vehicle. I purchased 2019 X3 this week at this location. Their customer service is beyond expectation. Sales man Mitchell and GM Kevin helped me out, and my experience there was totally stress free. They just took care of everything and gave me a satisfying $$, just made a deal. I loved Kevins flexibility as a manager on taking care of things. I got out late after paperwork, they closed as I left, and I noticed that I left something in my previous vehicle, so Kevin came back after getting off to help me out. I felt terribly bad and sorry, but again, I was impressed about how they treat customers. I also had a minor issue with my car the day after, so I texted Mitchell, his response was so quick and willingness of helping me out to correct the problem once again impressed me. It is 2 hour drive from where I live, but I am definitely going back there for my future vehicle or anybody who is willing to get a BMW. Thank you for the great service! I wish I can give you guys more than 5 stars.

Absolute worst service department in Tuscaloosa. Called trying to get a part and would never return my calls. Had to drive an hour to get part at bmw dealership. Thought maybe they were just busy that day and had the same thing happen 6 months later (today). This is the very reason I will not purchase a BMW from them ever again!!! Sad part is my wife was wanting a new BMW but that got stopped after this last episode! Good luck getting David in service to return your calls. All they care about is cars being sold off the lot and scheduled service that cost you an arm and a leg! Beware if you buy from Tuscaloosa location!

Brought the car in for a water pump replacement. It cost me $1200 and now the car makes noises when you go over speed bumps. Drove back to the dealership to have them check just to be told everything they did looks fine and that I should pay another $129 to have them see what the issue is.People are nice but service department is terrible.

Could not be happier with my experience buying my first car. First dealership to take me serious since I am so young but that was no problem here. I was treated with the up most respect. ASK FOR MITCHELL! He helped me with the entire process. The general manager Kevin was so kind and even invited me and other costumers to eat their staff lunch with them. The small amount of staff members gave it a comfortable feel to their dealership. I also spoke with Mason who made me feel very welcomed and excited to buy from them.

Through the buying process everything was great. After signing, though, its been nothing but a hassle. Once when I was dealing with their loan department, they told me if I didnt do what they wanted Id have to return the the vehicle. Seriously!!! I told them that was just fine. Needless to say, they backed off. I can call and leave messages but do not receive a call back. When I mention this on a survey, Im told they are having phone issues. This is every department! In addition, Ive tried communicating through text and email, but still no response. Yes, got a good deal but still just one big hassle after another. I do not recommend this dealership.

Wesley Jones and the service department staff at BMW of Tuscaloosa do a great job. Their service department is run very efficiently and professionally. You can count on them to take care of your car or truck even if it is not a BMW. They service all makes and models.

Enjoyed the spacious and very accommodating waiting area with just about any coffee youd care to try. Snacks were plentiful so the wait wasnt bad at all. The service department did an excellent job on the repair work and even cleaned my car to boot. Thanks BMW of Tuscaloosa for a unique experience in the auto industry .
