This place is AMAZING! Seriously, I first found them when my cars brakes were making a horrible noise. Bill was wonderful and did some diagnostics for me same day, but then pointed out it was an issue caused by the dealership and wont take my money. Fast forward to present day I purchased a van and it needed an oil change and I asked them to add an inspection, it was so detailed. I got the brakes replaced and a coolant flush. The shop was able to do all the work and have it back to me in a few days even though I told them it was low priority. I cant recommend them enough.

I had heard nothing but great things about 4th street, and they gave me a great referral to B & B collision a few months ago. So, when I needed a brake job and to have my AC checked, I called them. Turns out, my car was overdue for a couple other general maintenance things.Terry was very communicative and honest about what needed to be done, what could wait etc. Gave me clear estimates on what the work would cost and when I decided to get more work done that would take more time, they offered me a loaner so I wasn’t stuck at home.In addition, during their thorough work with my car, they found something that had been done incorrectly by a tire shop, explained it clearly to me and gave me the parts I would need to go bAck to the shop and see if they would refund me that portion.At the end of the day, I checked out with Rick. It was a great experience with 4th Street Auto. I can’t imagine taking my car anywhere else now.

Great experience! Went to get my brakes checked by these guys because my regular mechanic is moving shops. They told me my brakes were fine and I had an entire vehicle inspection total cost was fairly priced under $70. I would definitely go back again. These guys seem honest and honest mechanics are hard to find.

Wonderful customer service. Our car broke down on a Sunday and the owner responded to us via text to let us know we could drop our car off and would be looked at first thing Monday morning. And it ACTUALLY was! Imagine that people doing what they say they are going to do!It ended up being an easy fix (new battery). But the price was great and the service was even better. Both of our Dads were mechanics and took care of all our car problems. They both passed away within the last few years so it is nice to have someone we can trust again. Thank you!

I went to 4th Street Auto to have my wheel bearings replaced after being quoted an insane amount from Precision Auto. They were very thorough in their diagnosis and work. Bill was very upfront and called me to come in an show me the issues while the car was on the lift. Its safe to say this is my new repair shop.

Stopped at 4th Street Auto to get a flat tire patched. They were quite busy but they got my car in within 10-15 min and fixed it up quickly so I wouldn’t have to wait around long for such a small fix. Great service!

While I did not need a repair here, I took my car here to see if they could determine if it needed any work due to a noise that started after my front end got damaged. I’m really glad I went here as they did not charge to take a quick listen/look under the hold. Very friendly nice gentleman that helped me, not sure if it was the owner or not. Honda dealership in Ferndale would have charged me $120 just to look/listen. Thank you.

When my car mysteriously lost the oil filter, they took great pains to figure out what happened. When it could not be determined whose fault it was, 4th Street split the cost of the repair with the oil filter company and I did not pay a cent. They are honest, hard working and honorable men. Top notchI cant say enough nice things about the service at 4th Street Auto. I wouldnt bring my car anywhere else. I just brought my car in for an oil change and they noticed a leak in the axle seal. Any other shop wouldve told me the service was needed with a price quote, but instead they told me it was likely under warranty and to take it to the dealer.Their prices are very reasonable for actual service also - theyve been taking great care of my cars for ten years now.

Ive been taking our cars to 4th Street since 2010 when the garage Id been going to closed. So obviously Im happy with 4th Street. The staff are all friendly people and they care about what they do and about the cars that theyre working on. One point about the staff, theyve all been there since I started with them and that means that they get along well. Good relationships between workers leads to better quality work. Theyre honest and do excellent work. I dont recall ever taking a car back to have something redone. Two of the cars are over 20 years old (one will be 30 later this year). These are cars that a lot of mechanics know little about, but 4th Street does very well with them. Ive recommended them to other people and will continue to do so.

Brought my firebird here years ago when the engine had a flooding problem. Waited a few weeks and got a phone call that said to come and get it. Still didnt run, barely even worked on it, still charged me around 500 bucks.

Went there last winter for a car repair, studs had to be replaced. asked my car to be balanced. the cars tire turned out to be warped. the tech did not discover this and just turn an blind eye and gave me back my car as balanced

My truck started vibrating really bad on my way home from work (I work the midnight shift). I called them at 7 a.m. when they opened and asked if they could look at it for me. They had me bring it right down and by 11:30 a.m. the same day, it had been diagnosed, fixed, and I was taking it back home. I will definitely be taking my vehicle back when I need service again!
