They got me in quickly, estimate within an hour and car repaired shortly thereafter. Great customer service, repair work ( I had rear wheel bearings and brakes replaced)... Everything about my experience was positive. Glad I found this place. Sent my daughter there a couple weeks later and she had a great experience also. Theyre very helpful they tell you what things they find on the car other than what you brought it in for but they dont push you to repair them. I would completely recommend this place for repairs. I cant say Ill go back as I dont live in the area. Prices were fair and customer service excellent!

Great Auto Shop! Took my car here for leaking oil and the owner Keith looked over the whole car and found the little area it is leaking from and fixed it. Honest Guy and will not over charge you. Will be going back again!

I called up to get a price on some work getting done to my vehicle they put me on hold for a minute then hung up. And when I tried to call back it went to voicemail they wouldn’t answer I will never do business with them

My husband recently stopped into Brakes & More for the 1st time to get an estimate on what he thought was a big job on our 15 year old car. He had already got estimates from 3 other local shops. As soon as he walked in, he liked what he saw! A family owned & run business by people who care. Additionally, he knew what theyre talking about! Friendly & they listened to what he wanted done. They completed the job at a fair price & in a short time. He was completely happy with their work & so happy he took our business there. After an astronomical quote from the dealership, I took my car to Brakes & More for a much needed brake job. They were super fast and kind and more than reasonably priced (+50% less than the dealers quoted price)! Bonus was one of the owners showed my car obsessed three year old his old Thunderbird, lifted the hood up for him and everything, and my kiddo was thrilled. Couldnt be happier, Ive found my repair shop for life.

I have been coming here for years and swear by these folks. My dad used to bring his cars here many years ago, and he was VERY fussy about who worked on his cars. When he referred me here, that was good enough for me ... Ive been coming here ever since and have never been disappointed. How many car repair places can you say that about? . Keith and Mike and the rest of the crew are ALWAYS very friendly. Moreover, the whole gang are excellent mechanics and provide high quality work. I have never had to come back for an issue that wasnt fixed right the first time (unlike other national chain places and/or dealerships). Also, the pricing is always fair and less than the aforementioned chains and dealerships. They never try and upsell you with repairs you dont need, and the turn around time is quick. Cant recommend this company enough!

A year ago I had to get a lot of work done after sliding on ice into a curb at high speed. They basically had to replace all steering and suspension parts on the left side of the car, as well as two wheels. They managed to source good condition used OEM wheels to keep the cost down, while doing great work on the rest of the car. A year on, their work has held up with no issues with alignment or anything else. Their estimate was very close to the actual cost, considering the scope of the project. Didn’t take more than a week.

Ive been taking my car here for probably 6 or 7 years, its got issues for days but they always get it back on the road again. Always explain in detail whats wrong and what they can do to fix it, never overcharge and always give great customer service. I go here for everything including oil changes, even though its a long drive now from where I moved to.

Even after moving to Ferndale from Royal Oak, i still go out of my way to give them my business- theyve earned it.

This shop does excellent work. The owner and Mike are fair and reasonable. I had a slight issue with the way my part was itemized on the bill, but they cleared that up. Moral of the story: If you ask questions, they answer with honesty and they do excellent work.

I dont do reviews as often as I should, but I figured its time for these guys. Ive been taking my previous vehicles here for brake work for some time now, and just this week brought in my Jeep for a complete brake overhaul and upgrade. Brought it in around 10:30am, expecting it to be an overnight job (new calipers/rotors/pads, and I just showed up), but they had me done that afternoon. Competitive prices, and solid honest work all around.

They do a good job (like any other reputable mechanic), but I have to deduct 3 starts for poor customer service. I had to call 4 times within 3 hours to get anyone on the line. Finally they answered and told me my car was ready. Shouldn’t I have been called when the repairs were finished?The gentleman who accepted my payment was very cold. Brushed off my question about the warranty and wouldn’t even discount windshield wipers after I’d just paid $560 for rear struts to be replaced. Never made eye contact and his general demeanor made it seem like I was a nuisance.Remember, anyone can do a job. It’s going above and beyond that sets you apart from the rest.

Keith at breaks and more is such an honest and compassionate owner. when we moved to Michigan four years ago we found the shop and never went anywhere else. weather its an oil change or something complex like a new clutch he always does A1 work and never overcharges. Brought my minivan with 200,000+ miles here just before Thanksgiving. Has leaked power steering and coolant since i got it used two years ago, but recently started pouring out fluids. Brakes and More fixed both leaks for a reasonable price in a timely manner (two days). Hasnt leaked a drop since!I waited to write the review because it used to leak worse in colder weather but the repairs held up in our single digit temps.They also cleaned my engine and it looks like new! I recommend this place to anyone looking to extend the life of their cars.

Outstanding garage! After reading a view reviews I decided to bring my vehicle here, which is definitely More than a Brake Shop. I recently bought a used vehicle, the owner went over the vehicle first inspecting it and then making a list of the items that needed to be repair or really the maintenance that should have been done in the first place by the previous owner. The list was put in the order of importance. Many of the repairs have been made and most recently when my vehicle had a problem at work, they went and got it for me, brought it back to shop and fixed it within a day & half. When he done I will have a used vehicle with nothing mechanically wrong with it. Very honest, only fixes what needs to be fixed, he is not out to sell you repairs you dont need. It is a garage so, the waiting area looks like one. There is no wi-fi and I dont care, I am there to get my vehicle fixed. I would highly recommend this place to get your vehicle repaired!

I didn’t say anything for charging me 250$ for 50$ worth of part, I’m sure they charged me more because they know I’m not coming back to them when I find my car is scratched . IF you LOVE your car, do not take it to their shop. they scratched it from the back bumper.
