Recently had the opportunity to work with Amanda, one of the managers, to get a large order for a work event. She was great to work with and got everything we needed ready to go in time of our event. Excellent selection of wines and beers, had both of the liqueurs (cherry Heering and Cointreau) I was looking for.

They didnt have my Tequila Rose. They didnt have a smaller pack of bigger cups. Looks like a good spot for college party fill ups. Store layout and atmosphere wasnt bad. Staff didnt know they didnt carry TR. Oh! The best part of the visit for me was the sign stating only one visit per day per customer. It just struck me as funny. My friend and I did make a purchase. Not too bad for a liquor store.

Zipps is a good liquor store, which is almost an impossible feat to pull off in Minneapolis. Its not too hipster, bougie, or unkempt. Prices are good and the staff is knowledgeable enough to point you in the right direction. My biggest gripe about the location is the congested parking lot, unsure if its always so packed because of the Cafe or what, but I frequently park a block or two away and walk, just to avoid having to use their lot.

My go to liquor store in South Minneapolis! A wide selection of spirits, wine and craft beer. Their staff is always ready with a good suggestion or to help find that perfect accompaniment to a dish. They have brought in multiple items when I have asked making it easy to get what I want. I love their loyalty program as I earn point for my purchases to get free stuff!

Friendly and mellow. Its been hot , so I did have to go with my 3rd choice of beer(sold out of a couple), but....demand is high like the temp. Hard to complain about a place that does one thing and has done it for....forever.

Zipps buyers have frequently been right to the source remote or local, with the experience of elite sommeliers but sociable and neighborly to tell you all about it.Theres no place quite like Zipps!

I had heard from a friend about their bourbon store picks are worth checking out and, of which, I got two! Both are outstanding bourbons (1792&russells). They have the best whiskey selection at the best prices by far in Minneapolis. Thank you Zipps!

Great selection, friendly enough staff, and plenty of keg options. This is probably the best place to get a keg if you live downtown Minneapolis. They have a detailed and extensive keg list on their website. They also have the ability to reserve the keg straight from the website. It would have been nice to get some kind of confirmation about my keg order but I was able to get a hold of the owner and confirm my keg reservation.

Tried to apply for work here, a regular customer took it upon himself to wait around outside the business for me.

Easily accessible from I-94 and they have a wide variety of products. Their wine guy scored with some wine suggestions for my wife and a manager suggested a wonderful Canadian Whiskey. I also enjoyed their collection of Schmidt Beer cans - The Sportsman Collection! Good prices, good people. ...Ive been back 5-6 times now and have always been pleased.

This was one of the best places that we have found to shop a decent selection of sake. We bought a couple different types, and look forward to stopping in again when we order from Soberfish across the street.

When I moved here in 82 this was my liquor store. Almost 40yrs later it remains a consistent go to. Beautiful and spacious , especially after the remodel several years ago, its selections in everything remain remarkable. Highly recommend

This is my favorite liquor store! I dont shop for wine or liquor a whole lot but they have the best options for gifting alcohol. I bought a Scotch and a Japanese blend Whiskey here as a present for my dad and I was glad I was able to try some samples. They also have great deals on beer and wines!

Definitely the number one store in the Twin Cities. I would but a pile of donkey dung from this place because they could make it seem worth my time. I love the big sticker price tag and sales. I have no idea if I am getting a deal but it sure feels like it.

I love Zipps. Ill start by saying that I go here for craft beer. I know they have a selection of wine and liquor, but Im not into that so this review is based solely on the beer selection.The craft beer selection is really good. Zipps is one of the three shops I hit when Im searching for the latest greatest beer to hit town. Prices are pretty much the same as the other reputable shops around. Maybe a dollar more on this or that and a dollar less on other things. I dont understand beer pricing.The variety of beers is really good in the L shaped coolers and also on the warm shelves in the middle. Dont forget to check out the singles wall where you can make your own six pack. Good prices are had there too, not so gouge-y.Thumbs up, Zipps! Keep up the good work.

This is my neighborhood liquor store. I love them SO MUCH.They have a great selection. The staff are so helpful. Its refreshing to go into a store where the staff feel like they enjoy being there.They will special order things for me that are hard to find.They almost always have wine tastings on the weekend.I dont go to any other liquor store.Oh!! And they are dog friendly. Love it.

Ive been going here for 4 years and never had a problem with the customer service until NOW. Two of the male cashiers where rude with me. They have an rewards program which my boyfriend is under so Ive ALWAYS given his name. They didnt want to accept his name cuz I didnt have ID. Ive always given his name with NO PROBLEM until now. I just didnt like the attitude theses men gave me. Lost a customer
