They sell liquor to obviously inebriated people, which is illegal. They should lose their license and be shut down

This liquor store brings alot of drama what with people buying alcohol & getting drunk and then acting obnoxious with all sorts of bad behavior. Ive seen fights break out here many times & theres barely any police that even come to monitor the place. The security dont do anything about it but just stand around or sit in their car & talk to other females. I think it should be shut down.

Love how they hired a bunch of strong women! I kinda want to apply. Great service. Kinda sketchy customers at times but thats just the areas on most days.

Ive bought a lot of beer from this locations walk in cooler. Hi Lake Liquors suffered damage and loss from the violence and sadness that swept over the city May/June 2020. May their business be prosperous and safe for long to come.

Welcome to sketch central. Guys will be sitting inside their car doing business as you walk in. There are at least 1-4 people standing in front of this place for any reason (to beg). I usually dont come here because it makes me cringe.

Two stars are for a good selection of beer. However the employees here are pretty rude and act like they could care less about having your business. Here’s a tip: Asians often look a few years younger than they actually are. I understand why I get carded so much. But you don’t need to make me uncomfortable by joking about my ID being fake after carding me in the beer aisle or disregard my irritation by saying worse things can happen. I normally try to be gracious, but I guess I’ll shop elsewhere.

I dont drink but I buy menthol cigarettes here. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. Always in and out with no hassles and never a long line.

Feel like I’m going to get shanked every time I go. Plenty of other nearby liquor stores in safer locations. Staff has always been really rude to me too.

Usually dont mind the workers but some are VERY VERY rude. I walked up to the store with my youngest daughter and told her to wait outside. When I came back outside she was no where to be found. She had been kicked off the propertys sidewalk by a very rude man that works there. He had raised his voice at her using foul language. She was only trying to explain she was waiting for her mother. They should be more worried about the lake street bums drinking right outside of their door instead of kicking my daughter off of the premises when she was standing 15ft away from the entrance. I have also seen minors walk out of the store with liquor. This is a horrible liquor store! They should not be in business!!! I am very disappointed. I highly reccomend going to East Lake Liquor. They are friendly with great spirit. Everything that Hi Lake Liquor is not. It is very unfortunate this experience had to take place. Hopefully they step up their rules

Inpressive selection in a small footprint. That means aisles are narrow and you need to take care, but you are very likely to find what you are lookinh for.

This place isnt much better then Chicago lake liquor. The parking lot is a mess and everyone is a sketchy looking thug or some sort of vagrant. Standing in line sometimes you feel like you will be followed out by some unsavory element of society.

Easy to find and prices are close to lowest in city. They dont open until 9am but staff are always friendly.
