Free delivery in their area which is great. I love seeing pups in the shop and staff has always been helpful. Gonna pay more than some chain stores but worth it.

After 9 months of being a regular customer, all of a sudden the service is horrible. One employee in particular, older brunette gal, seems to run the place (or at least acts like it) doesnt seem to want our business anymore. It all started with ugly looks (I guess she doesnt see many construction workers), and then she turned us away for not wearing a mask while she wasnt wearing a mask, after the mandate was lifted. And as a last straw today kicked me out of the restroom while my eyeballs were floating claiming Covid rules. There isnt a sign and it hasnt been an issue for the last 9 months.If thats how a business treats their regular customers, they dont get my money. I guess the Whole Foods Liquor store will be making more money from here on out.(Update: after being called a liar by the owner there is no chance I would ever recommend that anybody shop here. And its a shame that one person can bring a store down. Their selection was top notch.)

They were amazing and so nice! Gave our puppy treats and watched him while we shopped! Recommend, they have a huge selection with great service!

Great selection of wines and great service.

I live in the neighborhood and rely on Lisa and her team for advice or just as a friendly face to grab some spirits. Recently, we were hosting a 7 course, chef prepared meal in our home and Doug selected the wine pairings for me. Ill tell you, without breaking the bank, Doug paired wines that made even the wine connoisseurs impressed!!!

Most staff was not wearing face masks after new mandate from Mayor, which requires all people to wear one while inside a business. When I told the owner Lisa (who was not wearing a mask), that this was now required she brushed off my concern because she just got done eating and six feet apart is all we need to do. Other times Ive been here Ive enjoyed my experience, but this is unacceptable. The owner should do more to protect the health of their staff and customers.

I would rate this place 0 stars but I can’t so that 1 star is generous. I’m not a rude person just straight up. And let me be straight up that the owner Lisa is negligent of public health. Doesn’t require staff to wear masks like they’re immune to the virus. Ma’am idk what special power you got but the rest of us don’t have it so wear a mask at all times. Also she’s terrible to delivery drivers which shows what kind of person she is. Lisa I know you’ll read this so how about you pick up the professionalism you left behind and add some compassion. Nobody should have to tell you to be nice and care about public health.

Huge selection and knowledgeable staff, pluses frequent deals!

Great staff and customer service. They allow dogs and give out treats for the dogs. The selection of wine is great. The beer selection is a little more limited but still pretty good.

Great customer service and everyone who works there are great at helping to find something to match your style. Good selection of wine with some international selections I dont find else where. Cost is a bit high, but they are right in the heart of the warehouse district.

Never returning to this liquor store again. Staff was eyeballing me the entire time as if I was going to steal something, just because I am a person of color. I tried to ask the woman at the counter a question and she was incredidibly rude and dismissive, and didnt even look up at me as she was speaking to me. She wouldnt even answer my question and Im pretty sure she was the owner or manager!!! I left in complete awe of their lack of customer service. Apparently they only want white customers. Plenty of other non-racist liquor stores in town with better prices, dont waste your time here.

I bought a bottle of wine there was a tage on it saying 25.99 and when I look at my credit card statement on my phone latter that day I was charged 31.08. I also never got a receipt the guy that was helping me was nice. If you do buy from this place just make sure they give you a receipt and you check before you lave

Fair warning, the prices are at least 10% higher than elsewhere. If you are walking, their only competition is Whole Foods, so you just gotta deal with the prices. The staff is quite knowledgeable, and the higher end selection is above average. The wine selection is probably the most impressive. They do not have a lot of economy buys. Occasionally they have a wine tasting event that I highly recommend you attend.

Horrible experience! Lisa was probably the worst to deal with. I know she has a history of being rude and inconsiderate. Have a couple of friends that shop here and all complain about Lisa. Masks are not worn by staff. Youd be better off getting your liquor at Walmart than coming here.

Great selection of wine, beer, and spirits. Employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. They have beer and wine tastings during the week to help you find something new to try. Its a little pricier than other liquor stores likely due to it being the only liquor store in the area but not bad enough to keep you from going there.

I walk in, and Im immediately asked, in the most empathetic way, by the most handsome individual, if theres anything at all I needed help with --- after about two seconds, the gentleman understood exactly what I needed and started giving me options and recommendations. Wow, what a cool place! I just moved to Minneapolis from the East Coast. Theyve got tons of wines and beers I havent been able to find on my travels. And the guy helping pick out Italian wine really knew his stuff. Not the closest place to where I live, but Ill be going back.

I really like going here. It is close to my place and the people that work here are really nice. They will help you find anything think. There also will give you advice on what to get. There selection is really good.

Moved to the North Loop a few years ago and this has been our primary liquor store since the beginning. The staff is really helpful, they have free tastings all the time and being on their mailing list is actually useful and not spammy. They have a great selection at every price range and a good spread of local products.

Northloop wine and spirits was holding a wine class that I was excited to go to however due to weather was unable to attend. One of the people in our party had emailed the store earlier in the week and they were aware of the impending storm and were going to play it by ear. They stated if the participant was unable to make it, that they would still be able to use a portion towards a bottle of wine in the next 1-2 weeks.. I thought this was awesome and a great way to get people in the store. However this did not hold up. In that email, it did not state that each person in the group would need to send an email if unable to go because of weather and there is no cancellation policy with registration. My friend and I who were unable to go, both presented our receipts for the class to the person that was working. He said that he would have to talk to his boss, I thought this was appropriate. The response was that we would have to send an email after we had traveled 20 minutes to visit. Our email stated that we were with the person that had emailed and that we were unable to attend. Their response was it was for that person only. I think that it not fair for them to honor one person but not everyones. I am deeply disappointed because the store looked amazing and would have probable bought several bottles of wine. Lack of customer service left a poor taste.

The people were quite polite however for them to ID people when they are well aware well aware of the 21 age limit ranging from at least 35 to 62 we should not need IDs for them to withhold alcohol sales to people that are well above 21 shows a negative upon the business

I love the selection in the store, and the staff, however, when it comes to the events they put on, and honoring refunds that the manager (Lisa) said she would do if one could not make the event, the buisness failed big time! Good wine all around, but becareful of the way Lisa handles herself in regards to events. Not trustworthy!additional reponse to the owner. I did attend the event. I DID NOT sent 2 strangers in to collect my money. If you go back to my email that was sent, and the EventBrite event list; the 2 people who showed up were PAID CUSTOMERS FOR THEIR TICKETS! They have recepits to show they paid. the were not there trying to claim my refund, but theres! There were 4 of us attending as a group, though we each individually paid for our tickets. I emailed the question for the 4 of us and had no reason to believe that the refund you said you would provide wouldnt be honored for other ticket olders (PAID ticket holders) who couldnt attend due to weather. What you are saying about me sending in strangers is BS. They had paid tickets and the information about the refund emailed should be held for any paid ticket holder

Were a local business and they have a bunch of variety and quick delivery. Of course, we love North Loop Wine & Spirits!

North Loop has a nice selection, however they have some very bizarre practices with limited release beers along with some unfriendly customer interactions.If you just want a case of beer (and dont feel like going to whole foods down the road which is often the same price or slightly cheaper), they are fine.Ive gone looking for Darkness twice (BA and regular) and both times I was treated poorly and left empty handed. Granted limited release beers are often found in short supply, the owner could be nice about it. for BA darkness she accused me of being one of those guys that takes time off work to go from shop to shop buying up Darkness to resell (I work across the street and went here out of convenience on my lunch break and only planned to drink the bottle I would have bought).For Darkness she told me We have a limited quantity and I want to make sure my valuable customers have an opportunity first. A simple no, we dont have any available at this time would have resulted in a fine interaction with 0 complaints... but now I feel rather negatively towards the shop as a rather non-valuable customer...Honestly I try to avoid this shop now, unless I know i just need a generic case of beer as I really dont want to have to interact with the staff (Ive had limited interactions with anyone except a woman claiming to be the owner, so the rest of the staff may be just fine)
