The three young men who came to help an us move to our new home were incredibly helpful !D.J. Hamilton, Austin Hamilton & Deagelo Rogers we appreciate you so much. They took time to wrap and protect each piece of furniture as it was their own. The truck was completely full with not an inch to spare. Brandon and the rest of his crew were excellent. They were very careful with our belongings, wrapping everything in blankets then in shrink wrap. They were all very nice, fun to visit with and never complained once even carrying some very heavy items up a hill around our house, navigating a tight stairwell and dodging lots of people as the previous owner was still moving out. Dalton and Jared from Gouffon Moving & Storage moved a sofa and loveseat from the loft to a downstairs area. They then moved a recliner sofa and two recliners up to the loft and placed them where we wanted them. They were very professional and pleasant. They completed this work in only 15 minutes. These are great people to handle your moving needs.

I chose Gouffon because they took care of my moving and storage from start to finish with their own trucks and with their own temperature controlled storage. They showed up on time, were extremely courteous, efficient and skilled. Brandon supervised the return of our furniture and household items. Everything came back in excellent condition. They protect your furniture well for moving and storage. The only thing missing upon return was a caster on a piano that fell off, which is easily replaced. They reassembled all furniture requiring it without question. I highly recommend this company. You get what you pay for and if you want your prized furniture and possession back in the same condition as when it left, this is your ticket.

Ronnie, KD, and Chris were phenomenal! They had us moved out of our old place and moved in to our new home in 2 hours, total. So, the price we paid was much lower than what we were quoted. They were extremely kind, polite, and personable. They were all around great to work with. All three of our guys handled of our furniture with care. Our new home has newly-installed walnut-colored hardwood flooring that is easily scuffed. But, they did not leave a single mark on our floors despite all the heavy and over-sized furniture they had to move. They even helped my wife and I unpack. They also helped us put together bed sets and other furniture. I cannot say enough good things about these guys. I’d recommend them to anyone and everyone that needs help moving. I will only be using this company anytime I need help moving in the future.

Do yourself a huge favor and get multiple quotes. I got two others from big name area movers and this place was 2.5 times higher than the next quote. In addition the guy that called me seemed wholly uninterested in talking.Shop around. Was expecting competitive rates and great service. Got neither.

These guys did a great job! They wrapped every single item and as they loaded it for storage, there was a guy who directed how everything was packed in the storage crates. We sold our 4 bedroom home in Knoxville and stored our belongings with Gouffon in their warehouse for nearly two years. Life and stars finally aligned and we purchased and updated a new home in Bullard, Texas. We arranged to have our belongings then moved to Texas and Gouffon arranged it all in house using their own equipment and employees ( no third party involvement like most local movers on out of state moves). The 18 wheeler was full and the two young men assigned to our move ( RONNIE AND BEN) were like the Energizer Bunny in they never slowed down. It only took about 10 hours total for them to move EVERYTHING from the trailer and set it up in the house which was about 100 feet from the trailer. Everything was there per the load sheets and NO DAMAGE. Gouffon has moved us 3 times in the last 20 years-- all with the same results. The movers count snack and coffee breaks as part of the moving time so they can charge more. They did not subtract the time they spent picking up gas station snacks and drinks on the way to drop off. I waited for them to arrive at the drop off location for a long time. I had a small local move all within Oak Ridge around 9:00 am. The movers said they always pick up snacks or drinks on the way to drop off and shrugged it off as a quick side trip when I asked why it was included in the total moving time. This is my real name. This was probably one of our best moves in over 30 years. We have used many different moving companies as well as moving ourselves. We estimate we have moved about 14 times in these 30 years. Great moving company! Employees were quick to respond when calling for an inquiry/pricing a move. It’s nice that they provide a fixed moving price and not a large range as some other companies do. The movers showed up right on time and moved everything very quickly/took wonderful care of all the items. They also unloaded everything and placed it into a storage unit for me. You could tell they were very experienced by the way they packed all the items into the unit so neatly, and still gave me ample space for anything else I might need to store. I was a little nervous as I had a terrible experience with another moving company in Knoxville years ago, and this time my move would be out of town as opposed to a local move, but everything went smoothly. Gouffon moved us from TN to OH last January, there were some difficult circumstances because the closing in OH was delayed, we needed to store our stuff for a week. The manager worked with us to determine the least expensive option. The move was made successfully and the price lower than other movers. The actual movers were polite and careful, they truly are a customer oriented company.

Gouffon received our new living room furniture and then sent a crew with the truck to remove the existing furniture to the garage, and place the new furniture. The furniture manufacturer misinformed us by saying the furniture came fully assembled. When the crew realized it needed some assembly they got to work and before bringing in the living room pieces they completed the assembly of the furniture.They were careful in everything they did, they worked efficiently, and did everything we expected and more. The crew consisted of Leonard, Camren and Matthew all doing a great job.

I had 2 Pods containers at their facility in Knoxville. I needed them unloaded from the Pod, put in their truck, driven to my home in Fairfield Glade, and unloaded both into my house and into the crawlspace around the back. I had over 40 very heavy bins and boxes, 20 paintings, house hold goods and furniture. The men from Gouffon were polite, punctual, and courteous. They hustled and the job was complete in just a few hours. They were fantastic!
