I thought I had a nail in my tire as I had a slow leak. It was just something that needed tightening so they didnt even charge me. Very nice people!

Don is great to work with. This place is fair priced and honest. They are clean, professional and fast. Easy drop off and pickup. I took my truck in and they couldn’t find anything wrong with it. They could have “found” something and charged me for it like most big dealerships. Truly an honest business.

We have used Eastown Auto and Tire for at least 15 years for almost all our auto repairs. Mostly recently they got my vehicle in for a quick tire repair after I found it flat. I was very happy they could squeeze my vehicle in within two hours of my call. Sure made my Monday morning better!

Went there today and Noticed New sign East End Auto went inside to find Same Friendly Staff, Same Great Service, Very Accommodating, Still Very Reasonably Priced. Ive been using Alles for pretty much all my service needs since I moved to the east side of town 20 years ago. I picked them for convenience (easy walk to my house) but theyve given me no reason to look elsewhere. Ive never had a bad experience. Service is great--I cant think of a time when I couldnt get my vehicle in within 24 hours. Communication has always been very clear and pricing seems fair. Over the years, Ive probably used them two dozen times or more and cant remember a bad experience.

Went to Alles in Grand Haven for the first time today after hearing good things. They were swamped but looked at my brake issue and had it fixed by noon, even with the parts coming from Grand Rapids. Best experience I’ve ever had at an auto repair shop, and at a completely reasonable price. Can’t recommend enough.

Owner refused to take responsibility for my wheel falling off, claiming he told me to come back after 50 miles to retorque. I paid over the phone and was NEVER told to return for this. One mile off the highway, my back left wheel fell completely off and rolled down the street. Could have been much worse. Would not recommend.

Alles isnt an auto repair shop. The guys working there can change tires, brakes, oil and maybe mufflers but they are not knowledgable mechanics. We brought our vehicle in there for the first time for help in diagnosing a grinding noise in the engine.The previous day we took the car to Tuffy thinking the pads etc may need replacing. Tuffy told us everything was in good shape and they didnt need to replace anything. Could of been an easy sale for Tuffy, but they were honest and sent us on our way.So I told Alles all of this when I arrived and the guy, his name is Terry but its important that he isnt called Mechanic Terry (like they lead you to believe) so for the sake of this review lets call him Not A Mechanic Terry.So Not A Mechanic Terry keeps my car from 8:45am - 5pm, doesnt check ANYTHING else in the engine/transmission etc Except for the brakes. Then he insists the problem lies in my pads/rotors and changes those. Then Not A Mechanic Terry takes the car for a drive, realizes he dint fix the problem so then he decides he should probably check something else besides the brakes. So he starts with the transmission fluid (which is a good spot to have started with Not A Mechanic Terry, they would have taught you that in mechanic school, had you attended!) considering the noise was clearly coming from the engine. The tranny fluid was black and burnt. Terry goes uh-oh and then calls to tell me all of this.I rode my bike over there, Terry shows me pads/rotors which are in ok condition (definitely didnt need replacement yet) and presents me with a bill for $270. $270 for fixing a non-existent problem. Two Hundred & Eighty DISHONEST Dollars. Hey at least Tuffy was honest! I wanted to know Not A Mechanic Terrys line of thinking here as he went about diagnosing my car and why he didnt check ANYTHING else besides the one thing I told him was checked out the previous day. The manager chimes in to defend him stating that they had three guys out there looking at this car! So he is suggesting they are all idiots that work there then?? They start getting very defensive and Terry storms off. The manager takes $100 off my bill, without admitting it was still a dishonest $170 and I paid and left to go find a real mechanic. Vowing never to return to Alles Tire & Auto Repair.So at the end of my day, I still have a grinding noise in my engine and Im out $190 (additional $20 to a friend to chauffer me around my errands for the day).So, lesson learned and I hope people consider other, actual auto repair shops in the area and beyond so they dont get screwed over by Alles.And I have pictures of my old pads & rotors so if Alles would like to send a rebuttal to this review, Ill post the pics. Hell Ill even drive back to Alles and take the pics at Alles and timestamp em. Then Id appreciate if other, actual mechanics chime in on the condition of my pads/rotors and lets get more opinions on the dishonesty of Alles.

They replaced all four tires on my four wheel drive van and i had payed over the phone. They neglected to tell me that I needed to return within a few days to re-tighten the bolts on my tires (I have never heard of another place doing this). When my tire fell off while driving they said it was my fault, even though they never informed me about returning. Then they were rude to me when I implied that there could be damage to the vehicle that they should fix. I would not recommend this business to anyone.
