I am primarily a home mechanic and very rarely use a shop, mainly because I have a hard time trusting most shops Ive used in the past. When it came time to do an alignment on my classic car (something I dont have the equipment to do myself) and a few other things I didnt feel like dealing with, I searched far and wide for a shop that was even willing to work on the car (probably because you cant just plug older cars in and have a computer tell you what the issue is). Bekins was not only enthusiastic to do the work, but was incredibly flexible and patient when we ran into trouble finding parts (they let my baby take up a bay in their shop for quite a while as we waited), and they actually came in way under the estimate if you can believe that. The quality of the work was excellent and Im not easily impressed. I would not hesitate for a second to trust them with any of my cars in the future.

Bekins helped my son with his van. We were up in Grand Haven on vacation last week. Van was making a grinding noise. They fixed it, quickly, just a few hours. Great service, highly recommend them.

They did an amazing job on my Subaru Outback! Highly knowledgeable and very trustworthy. I was expecting to pay over $2,000 for work on my transfer case. They found a much simpler problem and the part was $1.08, they went the honest route and won me over. Ill now take all of our vehicles there for any repair.

The staff at Bekins Auto are the only ones I trust to give me an honest opinion of whats wrong with my vehicles. They saved us a nice chunk of change with my husbands car when the dealer wanted to do a bunch of repairs and have us put it on a dealership credit card...Bekins took a look and told us what truly needed repair and what could wait. That was incredibly helpful. We live in Muskegon, but travel to Grand Haven when we need car repairs because they are that good and that honest.

These guys deserve some recognition as theyre all about great customer service, fair prices and most importantly honesty. I was expecting to have to pay for an expensive repair and ended up out the door for $40. I will be back and will recommend to friends and family.

Service is friendly and usually timely. They sometimes dont call when the work is done, so you might have to check in. But good work and honest, do recommend.

I’ve had good past experiences with Bekins however almost two months ago I took my car in to get my alignment done. I had to bring it back two times and it’s still pulling to the left. I am now going to Betten Baker of Muskegon to fix my alignment or whatever the problem it is.

I am not one to post reviews, but with this one I could not help myself. My 2014 GMC pickup was leaking A/C coolant. It would leak over a 3 week period. I took it to Bekins and Chris told me the condensor unit was leaking and I paid almost $700 to have it replaced. Three weeks later the collant is gone again and now they want another $360 to replace the lines and another recharge. I am guessing the condensor was just fine. Of course, I said no thank you and I am going to take it to someone who knows what they are doing. I do not think they really care about the customer or they would have offered me some sort of discount, they even wanted to charge me another recharge fee! I probably would have went for it if they would have offered me something.

These jackasses cant tighten Lugnuts. my wheel fell of and the douche charged me two hundred to fix it.he then laughed at the fact that he put my life danger. these guys are a rip off and i wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy. and every time you get your car back this something new wrong with it. if you value your car and your life I would not recommend these people... also after i got the truck back mysteriously my water pump was bad, mine you it wasnt prior, it then totaled my engine. which Ive found other reviews for Bekins for this exact same thing. Shady people..

Had oil changed no appointment that particular day quick

I previously had nothing but good things to say about this place.However, I recently took my car in and when I picked it up the power windows and exterior temperature gauge no longer worked. Also, the seatbelt light stayed on regardless of if the seat belt was on.So I think to myself Its probably just a fuse, im sure theyd be happy to fix anything THEY mistakenly popped. I called them and at first they said it would be over a week until I could bring it in (Its going to be in the 80s next week and with no way to open the windows and no AC my car will be sweltering). I told Martin that and he began to tell me there was nothing he could do about it. Then he told me that despite the fact that all these things worked when I dropped it off and no longer worked when I picked it up it was not their fault or problem.Quite possibly the worst customer service Ive ever received and I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. Theyve lost my business and my respect.
