Called around 3PM needing a radiator replacement quote. Autoworks was the lowest quote out of 6 places I called! Had a tow truck drop off the car that same afternoon and my car was repaired in 24hrs for the quoted price. Great customer service and very fast! Will definitely return for any future needs!

Recently moved to Texas, and was looking for a reputable shop to take my wifes car (Rav4) to get service done for it and check out some odd noises she and I had noticed within the car. I happened to find this establishment tucked away near the Texas Star. Upon arriving, was greeted by a gentleman by the name of Chris. I explained my issues & concerns with the vehicle and walked me thru what he would do as he inspected and performed the repairs I requested for my vehicle. A few hours later, I was notified my vehicle was ready and once I arrived, Chris was there ready to greet me and explain his findings, as well as the repairs that were performed. I truly appreciated how much he informed in detail what was done, as well as the manner he checked certain areas of the car to make sure nothing else was wrong with it. Not to mention, great gentleman to have a conversation with and great sense of humor. I felt at peace when leaving the their shop. I have been taken my Asian cars to Terry and Chris for years and love them! They are the only mechanics I trust working on my cars! Recently I took my car to the dealership for free recall repairs, and they recommended $3,000 worth of additional work. One of the things they recommended was a change of the transmission fluid. This raised a huge flag because Terry at JAW had just two months earlier change the transmission fluid. So, I suspected unnecessary services. I told the dealership to give me my car back and took it to Terry and Chris for their recommendations. Their recommendations totaled $200! They agreed that the dealerships recommendations were inflated. This was just more confirmation for my trust in Terry and Chris. This is an excellent mechic shop. I am sad that I dont get to work with Chris any more now that Ive moved away.Ive had various maintenance done throughout a few years of taking my vehicle. Had regular oil changes, transmission fluid, and a few one-off issues with struts on an older vehicle. Everything was done excellently and in a timely manner.Chris is very personable and can explain everything to understand. Prices are reasonable, much better than dealership.I cant recommend them enough.

I have 2003 Honda Accord coupe V6 manual that I got in 2005. Other than oil changes (because I don’t live close), all the work on my car is done here. And my 14 year old car with 118,000 miles still runs like a bat out of h*ll. Love it. Oh, and Terry and Chris did the work on my Honda Civic I had before this car. Yes, I trust this shop.

I really appreciate the work Terry and Chris performed on my car recently. My engine light kept coming on. Went to two other repair shops who gave me conflicting and expensive solutions. The guys that work here without a doubt know what they are doing! They are a pleasure to deal with and seem to honestly care about their customers. In my experience most places just seem to want to charge you as much as they can for this or that [necessary or unnecessary] and proceed to do just the job you paid for [often not well] these guys are an absolute breath of fresh air! When they do a job they do it right! If they notice anything else that needs to be fixed/replaced they will let you know, if its something small they will fix it, even if isnt exactly what you brought your car in for. They have initiative! They just want your vehicle to last as long as it can, because they understand that for many people their vehicles are their livelihood. What they charge for the work they do is always fair and honestly they could charge more with how great the service they provide is. To sum it up I trust them and so does the rest of my family. You would be wise to do the same!

Chris did a great job on my 2006 Sentra. My AC was blowing hot because of a leak and my window would not roll down. He fixed both. They keep in touch with you via text message it you want. He s very enthusiastic about vehicles and he wont overcharge you for the repairs. You want to go here if you have any kind of vehicle...definitely if you have an import.

I used to have a 15 year-old Honda with only around 75,000 miles on it. (What can I say, I hate driving.) I was told by the dealership where I used to always get my service done that I had a seep in my oil pan and that although I didnt need to get it done right away, that in one year, I would have to have it replaced to the tune of $1,000. I was suspicious. I decided to have Hondtune (now Japanese Auto Repair Services) take a look at it after my neighbor referred me to them. They inspected my car after I left it with them. They called me up and told me that they couldnt find anything wrong with the oil pan and asked me if I noticed any oil stains on the pavement where I park my car. I told them no. They said that there wasnt any accumulation or anything that indicated an oil seep or leak. They also looked at other areas of the car and said they just couldnt find anything wrong with the car. They had me pick it up and all they charged was $5 for the effort. They couldve said anything and charged me and a less honest business would have. That is about as honest and transparent as a business can be. These people have integrity! The dealership was dishonest with me so that they could make a buck. Im a school teacher and I have to watch every penny. This place charges the minimum for honest, hard work. I really appreciate them and I will always come here from now on. Its hard to find a good mechanic, but this is the place if you want honest, correct work done on your Japanese car. They are professional and all of them are gentlemen, so this is a place I would feel comfortable sending a female also.

This is a real local mechanic-type shop. Ive been a customer for oil changes, interval service, anything not covered by warranty or recall for several years. The same two mechanics have been there all the time, so there is consistency and customer loyalty.I used to ask my father about every little car question, but as I get older, I trust these guys every time. They have talked me into and out of services and repairs. The place is a hole-in-the-wall that is sometimes climate-controlled and not comfortable for waiting, but I trade it for the service.

I read the reviews on here and these folks were worth a shot, and they did not disappoint. They did what repairs they could to a wiring issue I had with my brake lights (just during the diagnostic), then told me that it would need to get to a body shop before the remaining issues could be solved- and that the wiring repairs were on the house! These guys are respectful and courteous in a way not seen often enough. Thanks, guys!

His prices were the most reasonable with the assurance of high quality work. I just came back from picking up my Camry after servicing it and I am very satisfied with the work done (NO MORE roaring noise!! If you drive a Honda product, they are the go to guys. Their timing belt service includes items the dealerships do not offer. When you have a problem with your vehicle, you discuss it with the mechanics who will be working to solve it, not some service advisor reading from a computer screen. Now try that at a dealership, and good luck with that!

Terry and Chris at J.A.W. do an amazing job at a decent price. Ive been taking my cars to them ONLY for almost 10 years.

They provide a pre-buy inspection where you pay once and bring in cars until you buy it.The mechs are good and highly experienced in Hondas. Theyre a bit pricey for me to use them a regular shop though. I mean, its a honda isnt it?

I have been using this repair/maintenance shop for years. . . since they were are their old shop and about 2 Hondas ago. Terry and Chris are trustworthy and do good work. They have a computer system setup that allows them to keep track of what I have done and what I need to do to maintain my 2003 Honda Accord Coupe V6 Manual. They always give me solid estimates and call if there is anything that isnt in keeping with what we talked about. They also have sent me back to the dealership for work that can be done better and cheaper there. But, I really like that I can call, talk about what I want done, set an appointment and go in and they have already ordered the part I need and have it on hand so I get my car back in a day. The last time was for a rear cadalic (sp?) convertor replacement. . . major money, but we had several conversations about it and I had to have it to get my safety inspection done. FYI - They dont do the inspections at the shop, but they do take the car across the road and get it done there for an extra $10 convenience fee and to me that was a very cheap price for a major convenience. One reason I am keeping my unique older Honda is because I know I have such great support behind me - and it goes like a bat out of hell.

VERY honest, as a female car owner this is very important to me. I used to work on my own cars until my aging eyes made it too difficult, so I know when Im being fed a bill of goods, and I have never felt that way with Terry and Chris. When they spot problems other than what you brought your car in for, theyll let you know, and also let you know if its something that should be taken care of right away, or if its something that can wait until your budget can better accommodate the unexpected additional expense. Theyre never high-pressure. They also are very good at telling you exactly when your car may be ready. They may be a bit pricier than some of the other independent garages in town, but they are still cheaper than a dealer and many of the chains, with much more accountability than those outfits, so well worth the extra expense. Lastly, if you bring something to them theyre not comfortable with or cant do (such as my dads old Pontiac or my Civics blown exhaust pipe) theyll not only refer you to someone else, but call ahead for you to let them know youre coming! My only regret is that since I do own Civics, I hardly ever have the need to bring my car to them!

Ive been bringing my Hondas/Acuras here for a long time - and even my Toyota truck from time to time. Terry and Chris are capable and honest, and prices are less than what youd pay at the stealership.
