Highly recommend this place. I was passing through Oregon and had a check engine light come on! Turns out I needed my transmission fluid changed and they did a fantastic job and showed me how bad the fluid was! I’m lucky I got there in time. Also, I had asked them to do the differentials but they checked them out and said they didn’t need changing! Saved me money and I learned a bunch. The owner used to work for Jeep and knew all about my 2011 Liberty. I can’t recommend this AAMCO enough. Thank you Kurt!

I went to them because of a sticking clutch. First time around they charged me 600 dollars to replace the clutch peddle and took almost week to get done. I decided to drive it a lot to make sure the work was good. Drove up to blue lake and before I even got all the way there it started again. Took it back and they said it was the salve cylinder 200 dollars or so. After that they admitted that still did not fix it and wanted to charge 400 dollars for replacing the master cylinder to which I declined. I was not interested in piecemeal work that doesnt fix anything. 800 dollars to not fix the problem bleh. It was very off putting when I first picked it up and the guy at the counter said Well see you again. before I left. Ive lived in the area all my life and remember Aamco as a kid I am truly disappointed with a shop that has been around so long. I would never recommend this place to anyone. An added note I was able to fix this repair they couldnt manage to figure out in fact one mechanic stated It was the hardest diagnosis Ive ever had Some how they couldnt figure out that air was in the line and it needed bled, which is strange since to replace the slave cylinder they wouldve needed to do that

AAMCO is one of my favourite mechanics in the Eugene area. They have been here for 52 years, and are still providing exceptional service. They offer great deals on oil changes, transmission fluid change, and repair, and much more. There located off 7th behind the McDonalds, and their parking is definitely not the best out of all the mechanics, but every time Ive gone there I havent had a problem finding parking. Thet offer a credit card service, which has lots of benefits, and they also except most car warranties. The staff here is very receptive and makes sure that theyre doing exactly what you need without breaking your bank

They squeezed my truck into their already busy shop, and from the start to the time i picked it up were very honest and open as too how things were going and what they were encountering as they both had to diagnose and repair the vehicle. Very professional , very prompt . I will be using them alot more in the future not just for repairs but for most of the mechanical upgrades as well. Thank you AAMCO!

Im from out of town and needed help with my transmission but they were all booked up. Instead of telling me to bring it in and wait however long they sent me to another business so I can get helped sooner. Awesome guys

I had to tow my car to their shop because of several problems my car had. They said the only problem was the alternator even though I told them the car had weird noise for almost a month. They said they would fix the alternator first and check the other problem but they didnt. When I tried the car outside their shop the noise was still there. I got inside and told them and they wouldnt listen. They told me to have an appointment and come back again another time. Poor customer service, I wouldnt recommend

I brought in a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica.They did over 12 hours of work found the problem was with the central computer and electrical system.They said they cant fix the main problem but did fix a lot of smaller ones.50$ for 12 hours of work and a detailed list of issues.Its engine is looking clean and everything was put back together right.Great mechanics and great people.Instead learning how to repair a computer system on my vehicle.They recommended me to another shop and charged next to nothing for all the things they fixed.

As someone who doesnt know much about cars, I wasnt sure where to go to get my transmission fluid changed. Called a few places during my research phase, and this place stood out! Not only were they professional about their services, they also were genuine and willing to help their clients. They were extremely punctual and helpful. They made sure to diagnose my car accurately and efficiently. They price for what I had done couldnt be better either. Overall a great experience. Ill go to them again with any other car needs I have.

My transmission made noise and leaked the day after work was done , when I took it back they could not explain noise or find leak that made puddle on my driveway. they also could not find their vaccum leak. terrible service and worse workmanship. I did not know the things they did that were short cuts til I took it elsewhere and got it fixed right

Brought my Buick for a fluid transmission flush/change. As I read in a previous comment, they do a test drive before starting work on the car to be sure and diagnose any issues.. sounds professional. So far so good.

Very happy with the service I received at AAMCO. When I was worried that I couldnt afford the repairs that I needed, Blake went above and beyond to help me find the necessary parts to make the cost more affordable for me. Not to mention the work was done quickly so that I could get back on the road as soon as possible. I highly recommend this shop.

Well taken care of! Kirk not only waited an hour after they closed to bring my van in. They beat the price of the original location I took it to by $1100. Had it done in just a couple days from bringing it in. No up charging. Actually discounted $63 to stick to his quote. I couldn’t have asked for a more honest and quality service. I will have all the repairs on my vehicle done here.

I have brought my van to Kurt and his team for 2 1/2 years starting with work on the transmission then also for brakes (when I wasnt pleased with service elsewhere) and AC maintenance. They have always been very knowledgeable and pleasant. My vehicle is getting up in years and Kurt has always given me honest opinions on what should be fixed versus other things that I dont need to worry about at the time. He hasnt steered me wrong yet! It is good to trust your mechanic.:)

Don was very friendly and helpful did everything I asked, I was more than impressed with the owner Kurt when above and beyond with replacing my transfer case he did it in a very timely manner and was very honest and knowledgeable. Overall would definitely recommend to anyone else.

When scheduled appointment, they said I would be able to see them change transmission oil. When I came that day, I gave them the keys and the person just drove away in my car and was missing for 20 minutes. I ask the other person where is my car, and he says that maybe he went to do a test. WTF. You just take my car and drive away not even telling me or asking if I needed them to test the car. I didnt even gave you a permission to do a test drive. Then when he returned and stared the process of changing the oil in transmission, I was told to go outside because I was not allowed to be there. When parking my vehicle, he just put my car in parking without brake. You are breaking my car 😡. When changing oil in transmission he didnt empty all of the oil and just mixed the old dirty oil with the new one. He was supposed to fill 11 liters of new oil, but he mixed 4.5 litters of new oil with the rest being old oil. Also now my interior was all dirty in oil because the dude just was sitting and touching the interior with his oily hands and cloths.In the end he charged me also charged me extra $.Never gonna return to that place again.

These guys really take customer service and satisfaction to a new level. Theyre a skilled team of professionals who help you get back on the road not only as soon, but also as economically as possible. In my case they managed to repair a part instead of simply replacing it, which saved over $1,000. No need to guess where I will go for my car maintenance. Thanks guys!

My very low mileage 1997 Expedition was transported to Eugene very recently. It had problems going up the hills to reach my current residence. I took it to Kurt and the gang. Not only did they put up with this Nervous Nellie, but the diagnosis was correct and now that truck runs like it was brand new! Not a problem going up the big hills! They did such a great job and this will be my first call should any other issues arise in the future. I am grateful to Kurt and the entire staff here!

Nice honest guys, stopped by with my boyfriend to have his transmission tuned up after driving cross country. They checked it over quickly and said that it was fine and it doesnt need work. We were really blown away and will definitely return when either of our vehicles do need work.

Extremely helpful and friendly service. Efficient and went out of their way to give advice and answer any questions I had. Very personable and went out of their way to make sure vehicle was taken care of and we were satisfied.

Went here back in 2016 when I was leaving on a trip and they squeezed me in last second be ause I needed a fix last second. Go here these guys were great and it tells you if I praise them 4 years later.

AAMCO was my second estimate and I am so glad to have had them do the work. Kurt assured me right from my first conversation with him that they may not need to replace the transmission (as my first car repair shop had indicated). I appreciate how conscientious they were to do the needed repairs and not charge me for more work than needed, because they could have and I would have been none the wiser. :-)

We are new to the area, and our transmission was completely demolished from the cross country move. We took her in, and they did a great job of communicating with us, and were quick to get to the problem and find a solution. With the exception of our shipment, they got it done in 3 days at a reasonable price! Definitely check them out!

After speaking with them and describing the problems I was having I was told that for a couple hundred dollars they could take care of it. I had my truck towed to them in the morning and picked it up that evening. I was told after their troubleshooting they found the issue and took care of it and the test drive was good. I paid over the phone and picked it up after hours on my way home.The truck almost didnt make it home the transmission was so bad. The next day when I called back to complain they said that it was probably an intermittent issue and that they could look at it again but I would have to pay them all over again.Also the total was over $300 even though I was clearly told it would be a couple hundred dollars. For that they claim the diagnostic was a couple hundred. The same diagnostic that did not correctly diagnose the issue. For this $225 diagnosis I also did not get a printout of the findings.I am only giving them one star because -5 is not an option. These guys took my money and did not fix anything.

I have taken two cars into AAMCO. Both times they quickly diagnosed the problems. One they fixed as it was transmission. They other they diagnosed for no cost. We have been extremely happy with their service and support! We will definitely use them again.

Well I went in because I was having transmission issues. They dropped the pan and changed only the fluid in the pan said it was fine and sent me out the door. Did the same thing on the way home. Revd past 3rd instead of shifting. Turns out it was the throttle valve cable. Which connects to the transmission. If they would of changed all the fluid the 150 dollar price tag for a fluid change would of been ok. But since they didnt do that. Nor fixed the problem. Turned out to just be a waste of money.

AAMCO Transmissions in Eugene are great! I worked mostly with the service writer Kurt Wolf who was extremely helpful and a very knowledgable guy. I am a college student that does not have a whole lot of money and AAMCO helped me get my car fixed for a very reasonable price. Now a days it is very hard to find a mechanic that you can trust and not swindle you out of a ton of unnecessary parts and money. I lived in Colorado and used AAMCO there and now that i moved to Eugene, i am using them here. I highly recommend AAMCO to anyone who needs their car fixed. I thought my transmission was going out but turns out that all i needed was it tuned up and to get new spark plugs. These guys are very honest and trust worthy people and i would absolutely recommend using their service.

Found out my truck needs a new transfercase and was super upset. After dealing with Blake I was reassured they would take care of my truck and handle all my warranty issues . Going above and beyond very happy with the aamco staff and the way my truck is being dealt with.

I would give them less but there isnt a zero. They break bolts off in transmissions and act like they didnt. And then when you go in there to have it looked at you get spoke to like garbage. Ever since they touched our transmission we have had one problem after another. Also the owner of the Springfield location has no idea how to talk to someone. When I asked to talk to who was in charge I could hear him in the back saying Jesus Christ now what. Now we have to take the transmission to another place and get it fixed. We will be sending the bill the aamco

Great shop. Honest guys, helpful and quick. Replaced the starter on my van the same day I called and checked my transmission for me.

I went in because my check engine light came on. I was able to schedule an appointment at the perfect time and I was in and out within 15 minutes. There was no wait and the customer service was great too. I will definitely come back if I ever have any problems with my car again.

Well, ive had two automatic trans done by them and both were great, even after the warranty was over and worked for five years until I sold it. Standard transmission is a no go. Lasted for six months and had the same grinding problem that I took it in for but in two gears rather than the one I took it in for. It is to this day, two years later, hard shifting until I have driven about 25 minuets and then it shifts good but grinds on the diwn shift. I say five stars on automatic and no way on stick, especially for tracker, sidekick and samuri.

Kurt and his team found a problem that had plagued my truck for the last several months. Neither of the big name dealerships I paid could find the issue and considered my problem inconsequential. However, my truck continued to under-perform and misfire. After two hours with Kurt he fixed the problem and even called me the next day to be sure I was satisfied.

I needed work done on my transmission and I took it to a hole in the wall shop. After my truck sat for 3 days and didnt get worked on I called aamco. They got me in as soon as I could drive my truck there and had parts ordered that day. Two days later my transmission was fixed and they even priced matched the other shop (even though it was only a couple hundred dollars) because they wanted me to get the better aamco warranty. These guys were quick, efficient and did quality work. I would highly recommend them!
