Eye doctor and staff were AWESOME!!! I was late to my appointment due to car and traffic issues. Very little wait time. Would recommend Lens Crafters to anyone looking for eye exam and glasses.

I had a few issues with glasses, I recently purchased and they didn’t fit properly. Esteban was very friendly and helpful making sure the glasses fit properly. Tammy is the manager and she also want to make sure the glasses are a perfect fit. They both went out of their way to make sure I was completely satisfied. Thank you both for your excellent service.

Esteban is the best! I have come in a few times this month. First for prescription update and new frames, then adjustments and now for a style change again because my frames were a bit heavy.Everytime I came in he greeted guests warmly as well as welcomed me back each time. Even if he was busy he made sure to acknowledge guests as they entered the store. He went above and beyond to make sure my questions were answered and that I left each time with a positive experience. He is very knowledgeable and patient.Next time you come in please ask for his help, you wont regret it.Thanks again

Amazing how far technology has come I remember four years ago I had to wait two weeks for my glasses and today I waited less than 45 minutes to get my full prescription glasses with frame that is incredible! Also service was excellent the doctor was great the employees were wonderful I highly recommend this location

My girlfriend and I had the worse experience here at this store. The assistant manager Robert was not welcoming what’s so ever, made it a huge deal for us to shop or try on glasses and just made us few very uncomfortable. He was the manger with the short blond hair. Everything he said was negative about what glasses we wanted to try or buy. Gave us no alternatives to the glasses that he said will not work. I honestly don’t know how this guy is an assistant manager here.We only grabbed 3-4 glasses for her to try on and after each one he would come and say “like I said please only grab the ones you would like to buy”…… My girlfriend left this store so Discouraged with the glasses we wanted to Buy for her. We’re not ones to leave bad reviews but this guy was horrible.When we went to the mall to keepShopping and went to the lens crater there, and it was the most wonderful experience ever!! 10/10 will I recommend that store, the manager Alma went above and beyond to help us find glasses for my Girlfriend. The original ones we found at the other Escondido store were at this place and she made it work. That robert from the other store is just lazy and should not be an assistant manager. Thank you so much alarma!! She loves the glasses.

Was really treated exceptionally nice by all of the staff. The doctors and the people that worked in the lobby were amazing very friendly. I found a nice pair of glasses that I liked and they took my insurance. I hadnt had my eyes checked for many years, but these guys took all my fears away.

My wife and I both got new glasses 2 weeks ago. Both of us are very happy with the new prescriptions and the help in choosing the frames and lens options.Today, I went to pick up my wifes glasses and pick out some sun glasses. I needed and received a lot of good guidance toward the frames and type of nenses that suited my budget and the nuances of how to best benefit from the 60% off promotion. Only people I trust with my glasses. They helped me pick exactly the lenses I need that stopped my migraines, frames that actually look good, as well as some of the best sunglasses I have ever had. I think the woman that helped me was named Nicole? She was very helpful and did a great job fitting my face. This place was a godsend over the holidays. I was visiting from out of town and I had an eyeglass emergency that resulted in me needing an entirely new pair of spectacles - I cannot drive without them. The girl working that morning, Nichole, was able to contact the LensCrafters that I go to in Arizona to get my prescription information, and I had a new pair of glasses later that day. They ensured the safety of myself and everybody on the interstate later that day and for the remainder of my visit. Planet Earth thanks you.

One of the nosepads on my sunglasses broke, so I went to the LensCrafters in Escondido to see if they would repair them. One of the employees replaced both nosepads, straightened out the nosepad arms, and cleaned the lenses for me. She did it with a helpful, friendly attitude,. It was clear to me that she was genuinely glad to help other people - it really made my day. I was in and out in less than five minutes, with fixed, clean glasses, and a smile on my face.

Store personnel are professional and polite.I would have rated higher however I drove all the way from La Jolla toEscondido store to find that the technician had put the wrong lenses in the frames.This was extremely inconvenient and very disappointing especially given the amount of money I have spent with LensCrafters on this transaction and over the years.Now waiting overnite and hope that it’s done correctly when I pick them up tomorrow.

I have been to 3 other eye places and they told me they couldnt fix my glasses until 2 weeks Tammy fixed it within 5 mins no appointment need. Be careful every time you go to this office(WHICH I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!). To the start where after they check your insurance, they will say, “it’s not coming up, is your information correct in this screen?(->first&last name, birth date & last 4 social ‘in their tablet’). They will run it twice then they will show you that -it’s still nothing(Even though i can login to my insurance and see my benefits using my iphone). Then, their scam technique starts, “they will offer their “so called discount price”(BUT IT’S NOT! ITS OVERPRICING!). Why? Because instead I am just paying for my $25 copay for my lenses, she(“Elizabeth”) wants me to pay $250+ just for the lenses. RIDICULOUS!Good thing, i thought twice and turn down her offer.Other RUDE acts of her are;1. If she/they ask to take your glasses to check the appearance, make sure they clean it before returning it to you especially in this time of pandemic. Because I have to ask her to clean it before giving it back to me, then she starts acting/showing with her BAD attitude.Take note; I got my glasses from this LensCrafters store. And this how they treat a coming back customer, really?!Be professional !!!If I could NOT give a star, I would.

Woody and their staff are always very professional. I had bought my glassware at the Escondido location, in the past made a mistake of not getting the warranty. “Do yourself a favor and get the protection plan LensCrafters offers”, will save a tons of money and trouble. Just got new lenses put in my old frames. They didn’t even clean the dirt out of them before installing the fresh new lenses. Bad service if you ask me! Handle it as if it was yours.

Dr. Robert Gentile saw me for an eye exam and contact lenses. He prescribed new contact lenses, newer and better. I developed Giant Papillary Conjunctivitis 3 days after wearing the new contacts, painful and uncomfortable. Ends up the new contacts were not a good choice for my sensitive eyes, much harder lens than old ones. I returned one year supply last Friday, 11.15.19, over $600 in purchase including the insurance. I still do not have the refund, electronic refunds should show within 24 hours. I called multiple times Escondido office, spoke to Nicole and Tammy, they did not returned my phone calls and were not able to give me a refund status. How many other customers are not returned the refunded amount? How many customers get Conjunctivitis after wrong contact prescription? Please do not use their services.

My regular eye place was close so I had to stop in to this location for a repair! Robert Greeted me with a friendly courteous smile, took care of what needed to be taken care of with my glasses, And sent me on my way! It seems as if service like this is a rarity but Robert certainly made me believe that there are still good people in customer service positions! I cant thank him enough! He is a great asset to Lenscrafters Escondido!

The Lens Crafters of Escondido in Auto Parkway are absolutely amazing. The staff are kind and greet you with a smile and respect. The experience I had with them today I will never forget. They worked with me on a budget and helped me get the glasses I wanted. I definitely encourage others reading this to make an appointment or walk in for an eye exam and/or to purchase new glasses. I am so thankful because I am a student and my current glasses are broken so they honestly helped me out big time today and I am more than grateful, please if you read the reviews come check them out. By far, the best experience Ive ever had going in for my annual eye exam (through Eye Exam of CA) and getting a new pair of glasses using my insurance. Kevin, the gentleman who helped me from the moment I walked in the door, was extremely friendly and kind, and went out of his way to help me and every other person that came in on a very busy Sunday. Everyone I spoke to was very kind, and everything regarding my policy and premiums was clearly stated. To top it off, my glasses were ready in under an hour! Great group of people!

After struggling to find a pair of frames, I came into this location super excited and ready to spend what ever it would cost to find something I loved. Although I found a pair that flattered me, I didnt purchase them due to the lack of staff courtesy: I was not greeted upon walk in. I was there for almost an hour trying on almost every pair of frames in the store and no one asked if I was doing okay or had any questions. A gentleman came to tidy up a shelf next to me, we made eye contact, and he walked away. Upon leaving the store, the two employees sitting nearest to the door also made eye contact with me without a word. Customer Service and friendliness is what attracts customers, hope all Lens Crafters do not treat their new customers this way.

I lost my glasses at the airport upon flying in to San Diego, left only with my prescription sunglasses. After crying, I called Lenscrafters Escondido and they fit me in at 4:25 PM for an appointment AND I left with glasses by 5:45 pm. They saved the day. Glasses wearers know how panicked you are when youve lost your glasses! Thank you, team! You were so sweet and even let me charge my phone while I waited.

Came to get a pair of safety glasses made the week of Christmas. I was concerned since it was the holidays that I would have to wait a week or so to receive my glasses. Received a text an hour later that my glasses are complete! 10/10 experience!
