I took myself & my two Childeren here to get our classes & eye exam the dr was excellent ! But Ruby the optician was horrible she needs more training ! She didn’t understand anything I told her & she couldn’t answer any of my questions ! Nor did she order my classes how I said I wanted them she never checked my PD . When I received my classes I could tell something was wrong and took them to another location where I explained what happened . I ended up spending more money to correct what I wanted originally! I spent over 1000 dollars for all 6 classes I bought I’m sure now when I get the rest of them I will have to take them to another store to get it fixed how they are suppose to be . When they should’ve been done right the first time ! I will never return to this location again other then to pick up my glasses so I can take them to the vista location! I want to give that location a shot out to Stephanie the general manager at vista she was a huge help fixing my classes & she said she would callRick the general manager at this location and explain to him what happened!

I went to the Escondido store today. I had gone to another eye place in December and was not satisfied. My vision was still blurred which told me that either the prescription was wrong or the lab had made a mistake when grinding the lenses. This pair was obtained using my vision plan and I had no out of pocket expense. My vision was so blurred I almost never wore the glasses. After getting my tax refund I shopped around and decided to try Eyeglass World.I brought both the Rx and the glasses and they told me the lenses matched the Rx. After the exam the Doctor, Tu Nguyen, adjusted the machine and and let me actually see what my Rx was and what it should have been. My reaction? I can see! I actually blurted outI did pay more than the 2 for $78, but I expected that because I need progressive bifocals adjusted for close in work with computer screens.Definitely going back when its time for a new Rx.

Went to the Escondido location to pick up a pair of custom sunglasses for my husband, who was quoted over the phone by Ruby that they were being finished and would be done by 3pm, after the person responsible for finishing came back from their lunch. Upon arrival at 3:20pm, I was told it would be 1-2 hours still. This location closes at 5pm on Saturdays, so I asked if they would in fact be done before they close in 1 hour 40min. They required 2 employees to check on that and recused themselves to a back room. They returned to state the same information, that they would not be done for at least an hour or more. When in the midst of asking another question, Ruby interrupted me, mid-sentence, to say how do you want me to resolve this? I stated I wanted them finished now, as soon as possible, considering Ruby has quoted my husband on the phone that they would be done by 3pm, and I arrived 20 min past to ensure they would be ready. I was informed that would not happen. I called my husband to relay my experience, and he called the store in the middle of his work day, was quoted only 30 minutes, and they were subsequently finished in only 20min. I was deliberately brushed off, I didnt feel any sense of urgency or concern, and discriminated against, considering my husband was able to call and get everything handled within 20mn. Time frames are completely inaccurate/an attempt at prioritizing orders they WANT to finish, not ones that NEED to be. I have already contacted corporate.

Went here to get my prescription checked since I had gone to Stanton optical but they had my prescription SO wrong RUBI helped me get an exam and get two new pair of glasses for a great price I will definitely be returning they have amazing service.

They were very knowledgeable and courteous.

This eye glass world is a big rip off. I went in for an eye exam and the deal of two pair of glasses and eye exam for $ 78 dollars, YEAH right. That deal is good only if you have vision insurance. I ended up having to pay $ 187 dollars for two pair of glasses and exam. Hopefully it will be worth it

Really good experience!I got some very nice Oakley glasses at a great price and chose some sunglasses as my second pair. The sunglasses turned out to be difficult make with my prescription, and they even tried again... but it didnt work with those frames, so we had to pick something different. Ken handled the situation professionally and at every point did exactly what you would expect was the proper way to resolve the problem. Ultimately I got a pair of sunglasses that I really like and feel like Ken did a great job!Thanks again, we will be back!Kevin

Ive been wearing.glasses for 20 plus years and this is the worst.pair of glasses Ive ever had! I ordered scratch resistant as usual but Im certain they didnt apply to my glasses since they are so scratched I can barely see. I thought my eyes were rapidly getting worse but when someone showed me my glasses with a magnifying glass I could see all these scratches. What a waste of money! The 1 yr warranty was up in June.

I came to eyeglass world for the first time on the 15th. I needed a new pair of glasses after mine broke & was nervous to see how quickly I could get some. Luckily out of the 2 pairs I bought one was eligible for next day fulfillment! It got quite busy, especially because everyone’s temperatures are screened at the door and there were only two associates at the time but they did their best to help everyone in a timely manner. I was helped by Judy. She was personable, friendly and professional and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with her.

Horrible service I would give this place no ⭐️ !!! I bought my daughters glasses a few months ago with warranty. A few weeks ago I took a pair to be repaired, A lady named Laura took them in. After waiting for a whole week I decided to call for status just to find out they had misplaced the glasses.I spoke with the person in charge a very rude lady , she informed she could not help me since Laura was not in the office and that I had to wait till the following day . I explained to her that I really needed my daughters glasses and I could not wait. At this point I was really upset by the attitude and lack of help I was given. I was able to get a new pair 10 days later.(what a service)... after I picked up my daughters glasses I decided to leave her backup glasses for repair, again after not receiving a call I decided to give them a call . Ken informed me the glasses were ready for pick up. My husband went in today for pick up, waited in line for 20 mins just to be informed they could not find the glasses AGAIN!!!!. He was told to wait for them until they were done helping other costumers .Wait !!! What? He waited his turn and for a mistake they did, they wanted him to wait on them. I’m surprised how they manage things around here and what type of people they hire here.For them to misplace an order twice? After my warranty is over I will take my business elsewhere.This place is a joke and far away from professional.

The doctor was amazing. After the exam I picked out my glasses and that is where everything went down hill. My budget was at $250 pretty reasonable as a cash Patient. The lady puts the total price together at about $500. We then started the process of taking the unnecessary items off( no problem). As we are going down I can tell she is getting annoyed with me because I am working to get it back to my budget( as already explained). She then asks me again okay what is your budget in a sharp/rude tone and another person waiting giggles at it and SHE SMILES at her! are you kidding me? It was so degrading. I felt absolutely humiliated. I have had eye care done for over 7 years and that was the worst experience I have ever had. Horrible customer service from support/office staff.

I had my eyes examined at a different doctor, but had the eyeglasses made here. When the eyeglasses came in I couldnt focus with my right eye. They checked and found a huge difference between my original glasses and the new prescription for my right eye. Their doctor redid the exam, seemed much more thorough and explained her findings very clearly. Her prescription was a much smaller change and Im now wearing my new glasses successfully. They did all of this at no extra charge- correcting someone else mistake.

If you are not going to service customer you should closed your business ..for sure Im not going back other places they need business and the same or better prices. Too bad 👎👎👎👎👎👎.

Great place to get your glasses needs taken care of. Fairly priced and service that goes beyond awesome. Because of the terrible prism my eyes have I had to go through a couple trys at getting my glasses correct but when that finally happened I cant believe the improvement in my site. The staff were all very instrumental in the outcome and their patience was of the charts. Great work by a great company that hires great people. Id give them more stars but thats all there are.

My son has autism and the person helping me was SUPER HELPFUL! she was VERY patient and thanks to her we were able to get him his glasses and fitted properly.

Wont be returning . Bought a couple pair of glasses and recommended my wife . I was to receive a $ 25.00 gift certificate for the recommendation. When I stopped by to ask about it , I was told its taken care ....its not. Integrity matters.

They couldnt figure out how to take insurance, appointment took way too long, and they charged quite a bit. I feel like I would have gotten better care from an optometrist in a van in the parking lot of a walmart in the bad part of town.

Had a pair of glasses that 4yrs old put them on last night and the arm broke !!! Need a pair quick. Called like 4 places comparing prices and fastness of delivery!!! These guys beat everybody in everything even got them under budget 2 pair and I had budgeted 1 Laurie took her time and worked the deal, Dr Nguyen gave me the impression and a referral to see a specialist, I am the CEO of Alliance and wish I has a few more employees like these guys !!! Laurie and Dr Nguyen da Best !!!

From the Eye Exam to the selection of frames and with the help from Lupita, it was a favorable experience. I like the fact that Eyeglass World has a worksheet that the patient can see to know exactly what costs will be vs. being told and then trying to remember. She looked out for my best value using VSP. Thanks for the positive experience. I highly recommend this establishment.

Dr Tu-Uyen Nguen and her staff ( Lupita and Laura ) are excellent. I was able to get an appointment the same day and she was thorough and very professional. She clearly know her stuff and her staff processed everything quickly. Sophia is such an asset to eyeglass world that if she ever leaves she will have a job in my corporation, in and out in 1 hour, the best eye exam ive ever had!!Advice, Who ever runs this company for crying out loud get some music playing, if it wasnt for Sophias great attitude, i would think i was in a morgue.

Horrible ! One star is being KIND! Gave the Dr. 2 tries to correct my contacts. Ist visit went so-so used the contacts for a few months but still not clear vision, went back, Paid Again, was fitted 2 different times , then the 3rd was a bit better, but because the left lense wasnt in stock I had to wait till they got it in. Ordered contacts, tried them could Not See, worse than when I first went in?? Now I have 2 boxes of their lenses because, I was told by them, that 1-800- Contacts was using seconds, Odd I have used them for 25 years no problems, and they take your unused lenses back in exchange for a new prescription, no worries. So I got them from Eye Glass World. But I CANT SEE... went to another Dr. not another Cheap Cost Co. and, like Magic... I CAN SEE!! Went back to Eye Glass World with 2 boxes of their unused lenses to exchange for the same lense type with the new prescription that works, but from another Dr. and guess what SORRY, We Cant Take Them Back, so Im stuck with lenses they sold me, told me, yes, these will work... No they dont!! Unhappy because if I purchased them from 1-800- contacts like the last 25 years they would exchange them, no problem, And they dont sell seconds, Walmart owns them, and they do not sell Seconds like Eye Glass World stated. RIP OFF!! Stay away!! You would think after the 2 exams and paying twice plus, my husband went there for glasses without problems, that they would take care of their customers?? Nope! You purchased the lenses Lady their yours, even if they dont correct your vision, NotOour Problem! Well my NEW Doctor exchanged them for me, now thats a Dr. who Cares and wants his client to SEE! And to top it off his cost was not much more than theirs !! I wasted way more $$ and time on 2 exams at EYEGLASS WORLD ! Terrible Experience!! A bit long winded but, people need to know when service is BAD!! Live & Learn dont try the big box places!!

Had a terrible experience. My 8 year old daughter received her glasses and the glare was so terrible she couldnt keep them on for more than 30 seconds. Super disappointed in the outcome of my experience with this location.

They go above and beyond for customer service. They have put in an expedited order to help me get new glasses same day for the style I wanted

Drove all the way across town - went in an hour before they closed. Was refused service because exams arent done after 530. There were plenty of people being helped -- I was told I could maybe be seen tomorrow. Sorry - my schedule wont allow us to be doing business but Im glad about that now.
