I had a very thorough exam and excellent help choosing my first progressive lenses and sunglasses. The staff was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Worth the trip from Del Mar!

My initial appointment was great. The Dr. was very nice and so were the staff. I got an eye exam and ordered contacts and eyeglasses. When my glasses came in I went and picked them up. With other optometrists Ive gone to, when my glasses come in they sit me down and look at me with my glasses on and they adjust the glasses as needed to fit me right. That didnt happen here. They brought my glasses to the lobby and asked me if they felt ok. I tried them on for 5 seconds, which isnt enough for me to know if they are going to slip down my nose or be uncomfortable. They were busy so I took them and left. Come to find out, they dont fit right and are always slipping down my nose. I thought Id have them adjusted when I went in to pick up my contacts. I went in, they were very busy again, and they came to the lobby and did the same thing to another customer who was picking up his glasses. It took awhile to get my contacts. I dont think they have enough employees. I really like everyone there but Im not happy with my glasses. They constantly slip. Ive tried heating them up and bending the arms but they dont bend. They should have been adjusted when I picked them up, not just handed to me in the lobby.

Dr. Veret is one of the most impressive Doctors (regardless of profession) I have ever dealt with. Thorough doesnt even begin to describe his ability. He pretty much covered and answered every question I had before I could even think of them. EXTREMELY impressive. I wish all of the medical professionals Ive had to deal with in my extensive life were this good. The staff is also very professional and thorough as well. There was some fine tuning and fitting adjustments that needed to be made (to be expected) when my glasses came in from the manufacturer and Sherry (spelling???) was terrific in adjusting and sizing them to my exact facial features. Could not recommend more highly. This was my first ever dealings with this office. And no, I am not a relative. Honest review from an honest and very satisfied client.

Very helpful staff helped me find my new glasses under 10 minutes. The doctor was very coherent and was very knowledgeable.

So much unprofessionalism and attitude from older lady in burgundy hair. If you do not purchase anything she tries to sell you she becomes persistent and bothered. A customer is a customer and definitely does not treat every customer the same.

DR Verrett is very informative. Really went into detail about my moms eye health. Definitely recommend their office. We asked tons of questions and he never made us feel like he was trying to rush us out to get to his next patient. I also really appreciated the help of the young lady in blond. My mom has had some glasses that never really went well with her but she was honest about what fit her best and gave her recommendations but still assured her that whatever she liked best she should get without being to pushy into getting her into a certain glass. The only down fall was at pick up, we let the woman at the front desk know we were here to pick up and she had us waiting for quite some time while we could hear her chatting away in the corner. Not really convenient for someone with a bad knee and only 2 chairs in the waiting room. Overall I give their office 5 ⭐️’s

Horrible place all stuff have very bad actitud

Writing this review for my mom & let me tell you that words cannot explain how happy she came back from her appointment at this office. She worries about her appointment offices not being bilingual friendly but this wasn’t her case this time around. Her experience was amazing starting from the front desk, the doctor being very informative & up until choosing glasses. She gives the doctor and staff a 10/10.

I feel like it’s rare to have an amazing visit to the eye doctor, but I legitimately had such a great and easy experience here today. I came in as a new patient because I was having pink eye symptoms, and even with having to fill out paperwork the whole visit took less than 20 minutes. Dr. Verret explained everything to me in layman’s terms and helped me with prescription payment options to find the lowest cost pharmacy. The staff member who assisted me at check out offered to adjust my glasses as well, without me even saying a word. I have a different eye doctor that I have been going to for a few years, but I enjoyed all of the staff and Dr. Verret so much that I may switch next time I need an exam.

It was my first visit to Escondido Eyecare and it was a truly enjoyable experience. Dr. Verret was professional and well-versed in his craft. As one who has worn corrective lenses my entire life I’ve seen a lot of eye doctors- Dr. Verret was excellent. The office staff was also incredibly warm and professional- shout out to Sheri who took care of me for my contacts and glasses. Great office in Escondido. Highly recommended.

This eye Care office is like family it really is they treat you so warm and kind and the doctor himself is explaining everything to you so you learn about your eyes as well the whole experience has just been breathtaking just wonderful the girls are so nice the doctor is great everybody attends to you right then and there you dont have to wait long and everything is just so much knowledge that you take in at your eye appointment which I feel is very important and a big plus factor because usually the doctor doesnt tell you why he wants you to look through this lens and that lens and why your eyes are doing what theyre doing and its exciting cuz they have the answers I totally recommend this Escondido I care for everyone even from far away

Dr. Verret was not only very informative and friendly, the prescription glasses I received was finally comfortable! The previous prescription I had was too strong and I knew it because it gave me headaches and I couldnt wait to take them off. When I got my new prescription glasses, I actually didnt want to take them off. They allowed me to see more crisp, never gave me headaches, had the blue light, antiglare and changed shades when I went out into the sunlight. My whole family goes there now!

Dr. Verret is an amazing eye doctor! He was very knowledgeable, professional, and easy going. He explained everything very well and was very efficient with the exam. I am usually stressed at the eye doctor because it feels like a test, but this experience was the first time I felt fine. The doctor was pleasant and engaging and made me feel relaxed. Sandra helped me with glasses and she was also very good! I will definitely be back and recommend Escondido Eye care! Thank you for the best experience ever!

This small practice is great for all your eye needs. Its a great family environment and the staff is very friendly. The doctors are very professional and they will answer all your questions regarding your vision. I have been getting my eye check-ups at this location for nearly a decade now. I wouldnt go anywhere else. I highly recommend this center for your eyes.

During my last visit to California from Canada, my vision was not as good as I excepted after my recent eye examination and new glasses.I visited Dr. Eric Verret in Escondido for an eye checkup. I really was impressed during the eye examine, Dr. Verret was very caring, he conducted a thorough eye exam, gave me an accurate diagnoses. He spotted a problem with my glasses and gave me his professional opinion to change the lenses, as soon as I go back to Canada. he never pushed me to get it from his place. he was very honest and very professional.After I got my glasses and realized the lenses are good quality I used it almost for a 2 month I am feeling very god and I decided to do my annual eye exam + glasses by Dr. Verret in Escondido even if I come specially for and denying my covered one in Canada.

Our experience was great ... Dr. Mark is very patient with children. My daughter was very happy throughout the consultation, he even joked around with her I highly recommend to take your children to him...

I was in desperate need of a pair of glasses and must have called at least 5 other optometrists before a lovely woman answered the phone here and alleviated all my worries. Not only were they able to get me in the next day but she was the only one who offered to find out my vision insurance over the phone(as I had lost my insurance card). She was professional, polite and speedy!Not only was my phone call stellar, so was my actual in office appointment. The Dr. is very kind, educated and easy to talk to. When I was looking through the glasses trying everything on, the ladies suggested a variety of frames that would go with my face shape AND were on clearance(I was ballin on a budget). Some frames I would have never picked out for myself but the ones they recommended looked incredible! I actually ended up choosing a pair they suggested. Those ladies were fun, knowledgeable and had great taste! It really made my experience an all around excellent one!They also offer a $20 eye exam that checks all three parts of the eye, the front, back and middle(the middle is typically not checked for standard medi-cal insurance). Said exam can reveal if you suffer from high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. For $20 how could you pass it up?I have never had such a positive experience at an optometrist before. Normally I probably exchange about 10 words with the Dr. who takes no interest in talking about the small details that bother me about my vision. Not here! Dr. Verret listened intently and did everything he could to make sure I would be comfortable and get the best/most accurate prescription possible. I cannot wait for my new glasses to arrive!I will be going back to get pair of Rx sunglasses AND another pair of lenses for a pair of frames I bought somewhere else(yes, they do that too!)I have not a single negative thing to say about this office. If you want to be well taken care of, be seen ASAP and have people who care about your budget, this is the office for you!Dont bother calling any place else in Escondido or ever north county. This is the #! Optometry office in all of North County! 11/10 !Thank you so much for granting me the gift of sight!
