I want to commend Barry at 2025 S. Holly St. and thank him for helping me when our storage unit was broken into recently. Barry was able to pull up video of the person breaking in, as well as videos of her car, plus other important information about her. With his help and attention to detail, I have no doubt that the police will catch her. I feel that with Barry managing the facility, it is safe and closely monitored.

24 hour access is a fantastic feature. Rent hike after 30 days, not so much. I understand inflation and the cost to do business but why assist in the demise of the open market that supports your business?

Here is one experience I had at this facility:On a Sunday in the early afternoon I was re arranging items in my storage unit and figuring out which items are going to fit well in my new space. My $200 a month storage unit is fairly full of... storage, so I was setting up the table outside of my unit. I am on a side unit away from general public and out of the main traffic pattern and i specifically chose Sunday afternoon because I suspected it would be pretty slow around here, and it is. I have seen one other patron and when she pulled up I politely made sure I was not blocking her unit or in her way. Who I have seen more than anything is the employee on duty, who has been pacing back and forth ignoring the rest of the complex while threatening to kick me out for having a couple items out of my unit. He proceeded to tell me my items look like a junk yard and is continually harassing me. I had two helpers here because my table and desk are fairly heavy but they left after the intimidating tactics of this employee. Now I am left alone to deal with not just my heavy items but the harassment of the staff. I advise looking into the Public Storage right around the corner, or the StorQuest self storage also around the corner, or the A Bargain Evans Holly self storage around the other corner before coming to this place. I’m not paying $200 a month to be harassed and neither should you.He finally left me Alone, at which point this couple showed up and literally dropped off a half taken apart moped in front of their unit and left.

I appreciate the 24 hour access yet mice seem to be a common issue.

So I was a month behind and the facility put their own lock on it so I couldn’t get to my things. Yesterday I called in and made a $430 dollar payment to bring it current. I asked the person on the phone who took my payment if I would have access that evening. I was assured I would. I arrived at my storage unit around 10 last night to find their lock still on my unit. I figured I called in late, they were probably busy and didn’t get to it; so I didn’t make a big deal about it. I returned to my storage unit tonight around the same time only to still be kept from my belongings by their lock. Over 24 hours after making a substantial payment and I still can’t access my belongings. My mother is moving to Puerto Rico first thing in the morning and I have her gift in my storage unit, I thought it was safe there. Tomorrow she will catch her flight without even seeing my gift and I am forced to hold on to it for who knows how long or pay a hefty shipping fee.

I’ve had my unit for almost a year and Barry and his staff are AMAZING! I had most of my experience with Barry and he always put the customers needs first. While patrolling the units he always stopped by and checked to make sure everything was okay and asked how I was doing. He is so kind and the perfect example of excellent customer service! He builds a professional and friendly relationship with all of his customers. The grounds were always clean and anything that needed to be fixed, they fixed it very promptly. After a snow storm my storage door was frozen and Barry and Mike were easily accessible and came to my rescue immediately to chip away the ice that had built up on it! I was also going to my storage almost everyday and having 24/7 access was a huge bonus for me in my situation! If you need a reliable and friendly storage unit, THIS is the place to go! Thank you Barry for everything you did for me!

This is not a secure storage facility. I had a unit for all of 3 months before it was broken into. They have limited camera coverage on site and very specific policies in place that ensure they dont have to fill burglary claims for their customers. My unit was robbed and the lock was removed but I had to deal with the consequences as there was not signed of forced entry. Do Not recommend this location/company.

This place is definitely worth the price was super easy getting a great unit and discount on first 2 months and staff is always very friendly and helpful! Also the 24 hour accessibility is perfect

This is a great location. The prices are reasonable and the staff is not only professional, but knowledgeable and friendly! Ive been able to watch them perform excellent problem solving and customer service with other customers. As well, Ive had opportunity to observe that they regularly go around and walk the site, giving a visual inspection close-up to the units rather than solely relying on secure codes and 24/7 camera monitoring. All the folks here are extremely reliable and I have especially appreciated the extra efforts made by the new onsite manager, Kat.

Site was clean and staffed friendly. Jared was nice and efficient while replacing a weather seal on a door. Kat took the time to show me the unit in the size I was looking for. Overall a great experience!

Been here for over 2 years. I now live a distance away but keep my storage here due to the true 7/24 ability to get to my storage unit. I work a lot of hours and a graveyard shift so I sometimes need to get in at 2 am on my day off. Management is great and I would highly recommend them.

I was told our payment was missing. I put a stop payment on the check and created another check. My payment is automatically generated by my bank each month and this is not the first time my payment was lost!. Turns out the secretary locked my payment in her desk last month. I even talked to the manager and was assured it was handled. I was called Monday, while at the funeral home, since my mom just passed away. We had people at the storage unit today, Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, to help us. However, OUR LOCK WAS CUT OFF AND A NEW ONE REPLACED IT. This just added insult to injury, since I cant get into it after my moms death. Called the phone number today, but you cant leave a message. Prior to this, my rating would have been excellent.

Best storage facility Ive ever used! Central location, reasonable rents, well-maintained and the on-site live-in management is great. The thing I like the most about Security Self Storage at S. Holly St. is the 24hr access.

We rented a storage unit. Paid full for a year. Had not been to the storage unit for 2 weeks. Today i found that our storage facility had been broken into, but the lock was intact, and appeared secured. Items were rearranged and noted missing. Staff did not take ownership for their part in keeping storage spaces secure and did not offer options and/or suggestions. At this time, I do not recommend this site as a secure storage facility.

This place is great! It is a storage facility that cares about its customers, they try to work with you whenever possible! Kat Beagles is a rockstar employee/manager that really knows her stuff!

Randy was awesome and the price of my unit was exactly what they told me it was going to be on the phone unlike the other public storage unit place right next-door where I was quoted one price and when I got there it was almost $80 more!!! Very friendly great location thank you

This I do believe is one of the only 24-hour access for the storage owner. So I guess as long as you dont stay there all night you could go to your storage at anytime.

Its open 24/7! Very convenient. Its your stuff, you can get it or drop it off any time, day or night. It works for me.
