This was the worst experience I have ever had with movers. When I called to book, they were quick to respond and take my $200 deposit. I did not receive a confirmation email, and did not receive a call the day before or the day of to confirm my move. Josh, the owner, had promised that the company wraps all furniture. HUGE LIE. The movers, one of whom was clearly on drugs and no longer working for the company, ruined thousands of dollars worth of furniture during our move over 3 months ago. Would you believe that they left cigarette holes in the couch?! ...and we have never smoked cigarettes! They not only didnt wrap our furniture as promised, but they took poor care of our boxes as well. This is evidenced by busted open and torn up boxes. Thankfully, my husband and I bubble wrapped everything tight, and reinforced all of our fragile items.It was - and has been - extremely difficult to work with Josh to file a claim against this move with his insurance company. I am still currently trying to work with the insurance company, but Josh has not returned the claims adjusters calls for over a month. Josh has dodged my calls, and has no reason to be in business. He has lied many times, and changes his story regularly.First he told me that he was merging with another company and that the insurance process would take a couple weeks. A couple weeks went by, and I had to follow up as I had not heard back. From there, I had to call Josh 10+ times in a row daily in order for him to answer my calls. We finally touched base and he kept feeding me lie after lie.Second, after getting in touch he told me that he is super busy answering calls all week for the moving company and it was best to reach him late on Friday afternoons. The next lie: he told me that his company doesnt have enough money in the bank to cover my damaged goods...yet his business is clearly thriving with all of the calls he is receiving each day.Third, after going back and forth, Josh finally forwarded me the info to the insurance agent. This happened over a month after the move. I get in touch immediately with the insurance company, and they let me know that this is the first that they have heard about this disaster, thus, catching Josh in another lie. The insurance company filed the claim with the claims adjuster, and has attempted to get in touch with Josh for weeks on end. I am still waiting for him to get in touch, and I personally call him regularly without an response. I have left numerous voice messages on both phone lines that he we have been in touch on, and have emailed regularly, and have been left without a response. His demeanor is atrocious, and completely unprofessional.I 100% urge you to find a different moving company.

Had scheduled a move month plus in advance. Paid invoice via PayPal in advance and then heard absolutely nothing. I called a week prior to confirm and was told yeah you should be on the schedule.... Then comes the day of the move. No one shows up at the scheduled time so I call and Im told dont worry theyll be there... Then after the next hour passes I call again (note they didnt call me) and Im told well someone called in sick but another person will be in shortly then on their way by 11. 11 comes and goes and still no movers. No calls. Nothing. I call back several times and get sent to voicemail. Another hour later I finally get a call and Im told tough luck we cant move you today! How about tomorrow??? Seriously? After the cost of the delay to me and my lease they didnt even discount the invoice I paid and the movers were extremely rough and didnt do a good job at all. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

I called attitude movers Denver to set up an appointment to have packers come to my house. I told them I needed my kitchen and bedrooms specifically. I got a quote and then paid beforehand to secure the date. I picked them because on their website it says that packing materials are included in the price.On the day they were supposed to come they told me that this was only for labor. Their boss called me and was very rude and accusatory. Denied that it said anything about packing supplies being included in the price (told me I must be looking at an old website -give me a break!!!) and when I told him I wanted my money back he hung up on me. No apologies what so ever and and impossible to talk to - interrupts, talks over, defensive. I would have been way more understanding in this misunderstanding if it hadnt been for his behavior.I did get my money back but now Im left scrabbling to pack everything. Better communication is needed in the initial phone conversation. Thats just basic customer service.

Recently used Altitude Movers Denver to move from our apartment into a new house and couldnt be happier! The crew was professional, friendly, and fast!!! They made moving a breeze and I will definitely be using them again in the future! Highly recommend a move of any size! I had a great experience I had a great experience with Long Moving. Took my $200 deposit and never called back. I reached out to make sure we were scheduled the day before the move, and was assured everything would be fine. They never showed up. I of course told him I needed my money back, but he never issued the refund. 3 weeks and 5 promises to refund the $200 and it never happened. I only looked this company up on BBB after I gave them money unfortunately. Crooks.

First off, Joshua is the owner who has terrible communication and doesn’t return calls or emails. When I first called, he didn’t even ask the amount of rooms, square footage, or type of items that are being moved. The workers not only took breaks after 30 minutes and the job is an hourly job of $199 per hour! Tools were supposed to be provided to take apart my bed they didn’t even have the proper tools to take apart my king bed, which since they were hourly and going slow I unboxed my tools and took apart the bed myself. As you can see by the picture below I got damage to a door from the workers not taking apart a table in the basement which all they had to do is take the legs apart but caused damage. I called Joshua asking how to resolve the damage and all that was said is that he’d take care of it.i explained the urgency of getting it fixed as I was selling my home the following Friday and ensured it’d be fixed. Called over and over and over with excuses of being busy or car breaking down and not picking up his phone! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE A RIP OFF! DAMAGE YOUR THINGS WITH NO RESOLUTION!! SCAMMERS!!

Very patient with all of my questions and was a pleasure to work with. He provided a competitive quote and made sure everything was accounted for. The movers for both pickup and drop off were extremely professional and moved all my stuff in an efficient but careful manner. They were communicative and showed up on time.

I had the EXACT experience as Randy Dillow. No one showed up on my move in date. Then I was finally told,” how about tomorrow?” Which was unacceptable as I had to book specific time on my apartment buildings loading dock. No one ever came in either and I could not get anyone on the phone until 3 days later. I paid early via PayPal and was told I would receive my money back. It is now 9 days later and I have not been to get ahold of anyone and have not got my money back. These people have essentially STOLEN $240 from me! DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!!!!

The movers were extremely careless when moving my furniture and as a result things were cracked, scratched and broken. This company was significantly cheaper in comparison to others. But save yourself the headache and pay for a better company that will exercise caution when moving your items.

This guy is a crook. I paid him a month ago for my move. For some reason after 3 or 4 week after my move I get a notice telling me the moving companies charge of $235.?? was declined. Very unprofessional all the way around. Wouldnt move with this female k-9 every again!

The quality of communication on the part of the owner was extremely poor and unprofessional. When I scheduled a move he told me three things on the phone: the price per hour, the two hour minimum charge is needed for a deposit, and they would contact me the day before to give us a better time frame of when to expect the movers. We were immediately charged for the deposit, and by immediately I mean as soon as I was done with the phone call I got a text literally 3 seconds later.The day before the move there was absolutely no communication from the company (as he had said there would be on our initial conversation). One the day of the move we did get a call finally and they showed up in that given window. The move took 1 hour and 15 minutes. The movers were professional and good, just not very friendly. And they were from a different company entirely, not Altitude Movers as advertised. As soon as they left we got a charge for another 1/2 hour with no opportunity to approve or deny it. When asked why, the owner said they start the clock at time of dispatch. Firstly, the owner never mentioned anything about that on the phone. If he did, dont you think it would also be good to mention that a truck might be coming from 45 minutes away?!?! Even if I did know about that, the last time I checked 45 minutes plus 1 hour and 15 minutes equals 2 hours... the exact charge we initially received. Where did that extra mystery 1/2 hour come from? Poor communication and shady business practices. I called to dispute the charge and had to leave a message. Havent heard back yet.The owner said its part of his usual spiel to talk about the clock starting at the time of dispatch, but that was definitely untrue in our case. Neglecting to mention that we might be charged for over an hour of time when we didnt even use the workers is a pretty big breach of communication. Maybe I could have asked more questions, but having never used professional movers before I really didnt know how things worked or what to ask. Had I known ahead of time how this guy works, I would have called someone else. Be wary of paying for at least an hour of time ($145 or more) when you dont even see the workers.

The gentlemen they sent for our move were consumate professionals. Everything went off without a hitch. I had a back injury a week before the move and they handled everything beautifully.

Altitude Movers website lists international move as a service. However after speaking with a representative that is a false information.

In few words: unprofessional and a waste of money.In the first 10 minutes of moving my things a custom frame was knocked over and chipped, it was worth $200 a few years back. They tried to cover it up and not even tell me it happened. Obviously I noticed and figured Id just file a claim to have it fixed after the move. Its now been over a month since my move and I have yet to receive a response to multiple emails and voicemails.Aside from this, they never provided me a contract or a log to prove how long it took for them to make it to me that morning, which is something they charge you for. This caused me to be charged an extra $149.At the end of the day, all I wanted was to be comped for the damage to my frame and never deal with this company again :(

Used Altitude Movers for the third time in the last 5 years and weve always had a consistent positive experience, which led me to write this review. They always show up on time and on one move, they came very early, which is really great for us because this allowed us to move on time and finish our move as quickly as we can. Bout 3 months ago, we hired this company to move us from our apartment in Denver to a new one in Parker. The owner and his guys were awesome. They showed up early, which is good. They packed our valuables and handled em with care. Upon arrival, they carefully unloaded the boxes. We will most recommend them to family and friends.

We had several large and heavy pieces of furniture to move to another address. The office staff was very helpful and provided a detailed and fair quote. The team themselves arrived on time and showed a polite attitude as they efficiently and quickly did their jobs. I would recommend this moving company and would use them again.

Our wonderful Altitude team was worth every penny. They managed to calm us during this most stressful of times as well as help us keep our daughter entertained. They were very professional and caring when handling our possessions. The movers were very kind and hard working. They filled the truck well. They had good attitudes. The positive commentary stop here unfortunately.They were very clumsy with our belongings. Night tables are scratched badly. They dropped the coffee table which resulted in several dings. Bed is damaged as well from dropping the wood at some point. They said they would not charge us on the 6 minutes over the last hour, the office did. We emailed the office with our concerns, they never responded. We emailed again, they never responded. When they decided to acknowledge our griefs they neglected to acknowledge the issues.Basically, they do the job, over-charge you, take the money and fall off the face of the earth. I’d seek other movers out honestly. Unless you just like to waste money.

John and Josh handled and packed my things quickly and efficiently but as if everything was way more valuable than it actually is. THey treated me like a rich client... We did a cross country move and landed in Colorado during a Blizzard. Altitude worked with us to reschedule to ensure everyones safety. When we finally rolled into Denver the guys they sent out were professional and cheerful. This was the third time we have hired movers to help us load/unload our truck during a move, and Altitude Movers were leagues better than the others. They treated our possessions with care and were knowledgeable, quick, and efficient. The guys even went above and beyond to help us navigate our moving truck in and out of the property. If we have to move again, we will be calling Altitude Movers to help.

After the truck was loaded, we were given their estimated arrival time at our new house and we were assured they had the directions. They arrived at our new house at the time they estimated. Movers beware, I called around several moving companies to get an idea of pricing and to find an accredited company that would be on time, careful and honest. Well, if you are looking for honesty go somewhere else. This company will charge you for extra hours and not provide you with a receipt at the end of the job. This makes it very hard to prove their dishonesty. At the end of the job I was billed a specific number of hours, which was agreed to and signed. About a week or two later I get a bill for more hours than I had originally signed for. Basically this is fraud to alter a signed document like this but the problem is they have you sign a movers phone digitally and do not provide you with any receipt until they decide what they want to bill you. I would look in every other direction than here if you want to be billed properly and deal with an honest company. I have spoken with several people at Altitude Movers to no avail. At first they acted like they were going to make a correction/reimbursement but after repeated calls back the people there have just ignored me. Again, go somewhere else as they will decide whatever hours the want to bill you and you will have no way to dispute this as they do not provide you with a receipt of any kind at the end of the job.Follow up 8/6/19The company took 6 months to respond to my review on Google. This feels like the same time span it took for them address the problem when I made my first calls about the fraud that took place. They completely blew me off and ignored me until I contacted my credit card company about what took place. And now they are making untrue accusations about what transpired, but this does not surprise me as they had no problem committing fraud in the first place. I will now be following up with the better business bureau as well regarding this situation of fraud. If any of the dozens individuals I supervise did what you did, altering signed client documents after the fact, they would be fired on the spot. To all potential customers beware, go with a company that gives you a printed receipt. This company has no problem altering their billing hours after you have signed. And because you have no signed document in your hand, it is that much harder to prove their dishonesty. Dont get stuck in a situation like I did where this shady company alters your signed document of how many hours they spent moving. They are responsive at first, before the move, but after they are done, crickets, they continually said they would call me back, which they never did. There are ethical moving companies in the Denver area, sadly, this one is the farthest thing from honest or ethical.

The customer service I’ve talked to over the phone was through with his questions and explaining the charges in the quote. The moving crew they sent to us were prompt and professional; they move all my stuff to our new house, handle it with care so nothing could be damaged. These guys were great! We moved from Boulder to Denver and the move was a bit tougher than we have expected due to the 4th floor apartment having no working elevator. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYI scheduled and paid a deposit for a move on the day of my lease ending. I was told the movers would dispatch between 3-6pm. Once 6pm passed I made several attempts (calls and email) at getting a hold of someone to find out status of the move. Finally at 6:30pm someone answered the phone and told me that the crew was finishing a long job and would be done soon and someone would call me shortly to let me know when the new arrival time would be. Finally over an hour later I received a call. However, they told me their crew was tired and would not be coming. When I told them that was unacceptable because my lease was up, they said they would try to talk their guys into it and call me back. I never got a call back and it took me calling 5 times to get them to answer. I can’t believe how unprofessional this company is. DO NOT USE THEM!Also, do not use the sister companies: Die Hard Home Services and Stallion Moving Services. I did not realize the companies were related until reading reviews on all the sites after the fact. Had I known, I would not have used them. My girlfriend had a horrible experience with Stallion.

We booked altitude movers because we wanted to support a local business. Unfortunately our experience with them was extremely dissatisfactory. Josh, the new business owner, initially mis-quoted us, ended up changing their hourly rate without notifying us at any time before or after our move, and NOT returning our deposit or phone phone calls. We explained everything the move entailed before hand and they showed not knowing what was going on. The movers themselves made us feel guilty because of mishaps with their own internal communication issues.I highly recommend looking elsewhere for movers in the denver area until they can sort out their own internal issues and find staff that do a satisfactory and professional job.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I would give it a 0 if I could. Scheduled a move 2 weeks prior to the move date. Called multiple times to confirm our move no answer. I would think a moving company would make it a priority to be there especially when being paid a good amount of money. This wasted an entire day off. It is incredibly rude to waste people’s time especially when you can’t even get ahold of them. Probably the worst costumer service I’ve ever dealt with. Is the company closing? Is that why no one answers when they are open? Save yourself the frustration and go with another company!

A great moving & storage company that I worked with to help me move my things. They completed the move within the quoted time and also did not charge me more than the initial quote. All went smoothly , which is a relief for me. All my things are arrived in great shape.

The most unprofessional, undependable, and overall worst moving experience I have ever had. We had an unbelievably simple move from one suite within our building to another suite within the same building with no transportation required. Our window was from 3-6pm and the staff at our office waited long after their shifts for the movers to ultimately never show up. No one ever called to tell us that they would be late or that they would not show up at all. When we tried to contact Altitude Movers multiple times after 6pm when no one had showed up, no one was available to answer the phone. We even spoke to the dispatcher at 3pm on the day of the move to verify and confirm that the move was supposed to happen as planned. We were then stuck with having to book another moving company at the last minute, and having to pay additional charges since it was so late. This move went so much worse than we ever could have imagined, and nothing was done by the company to make sure that our contracted service was completed as agreed. I would avoid using this company if possible to avoid this situation happening to you as well.EDIT: Please note that the manager has bullied me and called me an “abusive woman” below even though I personally did not speak with this man at all (my coworker did). He claims we mistreated his team, but we did not even have a chance to interact with his team since they never showed up or responded to our multiple calls. The only time we got a call from John, who responded below, is IMMEDIATELY after we posted a negative review on Google, an hour and 15 minutes after the end of our 3-6pm moving window. Please read the other negative reviews on here and you will see that we are not the only ones who have been put through this nightmare.

We were very pleased with the estimating, packing and the crew. They were really good and fantastic. I had a huge trailer closet and a marble fireplace that was coming so they had to wrap everything separately. They didnt put a mark on anything, great work! Impressive job!

I used them recently for moving, I have to say that it was very excellent experience.Their moving guys were friendly and super efficient. They showed up on time, loaded my stuff quickly, and unloaded even quicker. Nothing was damaged in the process, and they were sensitive as to where all the boxes were to be unpacked around the new home.

Movers were extremely courteous, had a cheerful spirit and never broke a thing. They also accommodated a stop between point 1 to point 2. Thank you, so much for making this an unbelievable stress free move!

Fast, efficient and professional movers. Didnt really have to do anything other than watching them do the work. I was just simply amazed at how they get the job done in the shortest amount of time. Truly a great moving company indeed.

I made a reservation 2 weeks a head of my move date. I was called by someone from Altitude movers twice in which they confirmed. Day of the move no one showed up, or returned any of my phone calls or email. I still have yet to hear from someone. Customer service is very poor

Where to start.... Doing research for movers is daunting. Moving is a hassle in general. I called Altitude Movers and when I hung up the phone, I could imagine the quote slowly eating away at my wallet and bank account. Moving a 2 bedroom apartment with minimal furniture ( 2 beds, table, 1 dresser, 1 couch, and 1 chair with only a few other smaller items) shouldnt cost anything near a $1,000. The quote was for between $600-$900 dollars. While the gentleman I spoke with was polite, I wont ever use or recommend this moving company, I could only imagine getting a quote for a place larger than I have.Edit: It seems the owners of this company like to take things personal and even go so far as insulting reviewers through a thin veil of snarky comments The review is not unjust as $900 to move the items mentioned above is outrageous... Other moving companies asked specifically what the workload looked like, how much stuff, and quoted based upon that. I went with a local Broomfield moving company, that quoted me a more reasonable $450. To insinuate a customer is cheap is insulting, and highly unprofessional. Though, reading other reviews, that seems par for the course with Altitude Movers.

Altitude is absolutely wonderful. The moving crew worked efficiently, quickly and very carefully. All my belongings and furniture were handled with consideration. I couldn’t be happier to have moved with Altitude.

Their crews were very professional, nice, hardworking & they were fast in making the move and there were no scratches and damages during the move. The good part is they are very cheaper. Absolutely, no complaints & really had a good experience with them.

Altitude has the best and reliable service provider. My moving experience was fast, easy and free from hassle. You dont have to worry about your belongings, its all safe in their hands. Great job!

Ben and team did a fabulous job. We had a two-house consolidation into a new home that required packing, break-down, and putting it all back together again. It was a long day, but they sent a crew of 6 and rocked it all day. The team was fast and hard-working.

At this time I would like to update my complaint against Altitude Movers. As with any company, We all experienceproblems from time to time. The company has offered me compensation for my ordeal which I appreciate.Hopefully in the future if I have the need for movers I will consider Altitude Movers.Lets add to this post... made arrangements for movers..after getting verbal quote.. the driver made a mistake on the invoice and entered a starting time that never existed. I was charged double the amount instead of what was quoted. After making several attempts to contact management via phone calls and emails..nobody had returned my call to correct and credit my account. The driver upon completion of the move told me that I couldnt see the final charges until it was submitted to their office and that when I realized they made an error which no one is willing to fix.. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ALTITUDE!!! THEY ARE A RIPOFF COMPANY. If this happens to you you should contact your credit card provider, file a complaint with the BBB and if that doesnt correct the problem next step Small Claims Court!!! DONT GIVE UP JUSTICE IS ON YOUR SIDE!!!

They were amazing. I can say that they’re really an “Epitome of Professional.” Really knows what they’re doing. – worked quickly with integrity and pride. Helped move my things from an apartment to a home. Finished unloading things very late. The job was big and they finished it in one day. Id recommend them to anyone who needs a fast and professional move.

Altitude Movers has greatly help me and my family move some stuff from my old home to the new one we just bought. It was hard finding a decent movers so I had to ask around. Then we were recommended to this one. The guys (movers) they sent were quick at packing things up and move them into the truck. With the right they prepared, they really made sure no damage will be done during the move. So far they have given such an excellent service and I wouldnt mind hiring them again in the future.

First of all, you need to visit Yelp for a more accurate description of how bad this company treats customers and their property. I would not recommend this company to my very worst enemy. Bobby and his helper came and started off on a positive note. I started noticing that they werent reading what the boxes contained and continued stacking boxes on china or boxes that read do not stack. I had asked at the beginning that they wrap everything. I dont have a lot of furniture but the pieces I do own are nice. They failed to wrap a velvet chair and threw it up in the back corner. The pod was half full before I noticed it. At the very end they put an $800 rocker unwrapped in the very front of the pod. I asked if they wouldnt mind wrapping it to which Bobby smart assly responded, its your time. Yes Bobby, it was my time. So he became frustrated and pulled the chair out on the road next to melted ice mud which got on the bottom of my chair. He continued to wrap it and didnt clean it off. He then reloaded the pod and carelessly packed a shelf that pressed against the chair on one side and a cubicle shelf on the other. The shelving unit was up off the ground about an inch. Do you think thats gonna last? No! Any human being would see that with any pressure something is going to break in that scenario. I didnt say anything though. I figured Id fix it after they left since they were clearly eager to leave. He closed the doors and his helper went to the car without saying goodbye. Bobby then told me that he was really supposed to start charging me when he called which was 2 hours before he got there. He said he wouldnt though. Thanks Bobby. Thanks for not charging me for the time you didnt work. Really appreciate that. So I signed the phone thingy and said goodbye. He said nothing, turned around and walked away. Totally unprofessional. After they left, I opened the pod and immediately smelled gasoline. They had packed a can of gasoline in there! It was on the driveway. Who packs gasoline in a pod? It spilled and so I had to crawl through to get the gas can. As I climbed over the stuff I noticed a huge gap in the middle where things could definitely fall into. I called them the next morning and spoke with Brandon or a Brian who said he would call around and get two guys out to the pod to help me get to the things that gasoline had spilled on and to secure some of the areas better. He never called. Surprised but not really. I had to pay $75 to have the pod pickup rescheduled and I had to take an additional day of work off. A neighbor ended up helping me sort through the things but I was never able to get the gasoline drenched suitcase out because it was under two consoles. They did not make my move stress free. They were not polite. They were not kind to my things. I have attached pictures as evidence. I hope this company fails to exist.

Altitude Denver Movers is a wonderful company. Their crew was great; fast, professional, helpful & on-time. They did everything they could do to help with packing and wrapping my stuffs, so it wouldn’t get damaged. They were very fast in doing the move & there were no scratches or anything broken during the move. All stuffs arrived in pristine condition. Everything was on target & everything worked out great. I’m so happy and the price was right. I would definitely recommend them to others.

This company didn’t even bother showing up for our scheduled move & were IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of when trying for 8 hours just to figure out if they were going to come or not..... they claim they tried to call us but unfortunately that wasn’t the case as we had our phones glued to our hands trying to make other accommodations.... don’t waste your time with their “5 star review across social media” advertisement. Save yourself the hassle and AVOID this company

Packing of our stuff was handled perfectly and nicely by the team. I also like how fast-paced the moving was while still keeping things in order. If I have known that the quality of their work was this great, I would have hire them on our previous move before. Will definitely hire them again in the future if need be.

We had a refridgerator moved from Centennial to Castle Rock. Sean and David arrived promptly, were extremely courteous and moved the fridge in without any damage. They had to remove our front door and the fridge handles to get it in the house but did that without complaint or frustration. This is a very professional company and I will be calling them for our in town move. I will also ask for Sean and David to be our movers.

Whats most important Im looking for in a moving company, in my case, is the amount of time it takes to move the stuff and making sure that no harm (like scratches, cracks and etc) is done to all my things. I had a bad experience before but not from this one. The movers definitely has enough knowledge and skills with handling and moving all the stuff. They also have reasonable rates which is great! For that, they deserved the 5 stars.

Happy with my experience from the movers. I was impressed how quickly the movers managed to unload across three flights of stairs and a walkway from the truck.
