Apparently this is the only Kroger that doesnt provide their employees an outdoor seating arrangement for breaks and lunches. Poor fella.

The west side Kroger’s never have anything in stock, like small Kroger’s water and many other items. I have to travel to upper the upper middle class areas, like South Hills, because they make sure these stores have the best produce and well stocked. shame on you🤬

Shopped here since I was little. The employees love me!!! It’s a good Kroger’s it’s just some crazy costumers that act like fools, come in and steal and think they can do whatever. Smh!

I signed up for there RX plan and I had no way to print out my card, But All I had to do is call them give them my ID number and the group number and It was all taken care of. Plus this was done over the Phone, and the discount was unbelievable. She also told me my plan didnt cover a certain product. So they was quick, and saved me some money.

The guy at the self check out COMPLETELY turned me off to this store. If you want good customer service over there, you can forget it. What happened to going out of your way for your job security (i.e. your customers)? Find another job if you aren’t happy buddy.

I like to shop at Krogers . They have a good selection of Organic produce. The people who work at Krogers are really helpful also. But I dont know why there is so many register with no one at them. I dont like waiting in line.

I have a bad experience everytime I go here. Want to like it because its so close but its just not worth the frustration.

Small store. Easy to get through. I’ve been shopping since it was built. Late nite is not the best time to be in this neighborhood but I’ve never had any problems during the day.

We shop here 2 times a week at least the grand kids love the free fruit when we first get there but there bath rooms needs cleaned more often and the smell is bad too shame on them for bath rooms that bad.but for what its worth the rest of the store was nice and clean and everything pretty much stocked and the couple men that I spoke to one was young nice and polite and knew what he was talking about good job for him but the other man was older with dark hair and worked the front self checkers he didnt say any thing or he didnt smile no exspreshions of any kind and I said hello and thank you and got nothing so I will still use the self checkers any ways get in and out pretty quick

Fresh food higher prices than smaller local stores which have now all, except one, closed in this City. Ive lowered my rating due to the fact that you have to walk thru homeless people who hangout all day in front of the store. You cant wait with your groceries or water to enter the pharmacy pickup window without encountering them. Usually with a bumming question. The staff inside the store is not the best dressed vroup of people.

If you want to get shot or robbed this is your Kroger.

The food is alright, decent prices and usually the trip is quick if you can figure out the poor layout of produce. The reason I give it one star is that I feel as though the staff and way the managers run the establishment provide a much worse experience than it would if someone were to manage correctly. The other night we went and there was one line open, around nine pm, and it took thirty or so minutes to check out.

I do not understand why the most unfriendly man works at the self check area. He is always rude.

Always has my favorite deli meat (cracked black pepper turkey) and the staff are always friendly and rtready to assist. The establishment is clean and well kept, something of a struggle to the rest of the store it seems. Variety is ample and theres plenty to choose from at reasonable prices.

This is the go-to place if youre in this neighborhood and have trouble with transportation. Is this the best Kroger? Short answer, NO. This Kroger is never in stock, they never have enough baggers, even if they arent busy. They wont even call from other departments to bag, they assume customers will gladly do it. Ive been a Kroger employee, Im well aware of how their customer service should be. This Kroger gives the bare minimum, if that.

The deli has meats and cheeses like most. They have a few prepared foods, but they dont look very appetizing. Their prepared chicken is average. They have nothing that is outstanding except high prices. This is only at the Charleston, west side store. All of the other Krogers in the Kanawha Valley are much better in the Deli and every other aspect except for employees.

Love Krogers. Its a bigger store and has great values. Been shopping their for over 30 years. Has never changed. Love Krogers

A serviceable Kroger but, Dear Mr. Kroger, time to jazz this one up a bit. We need this store and it would be appreciated if you could invest a few bucks to dress it up a bit.

Krogers in Louisville, KY is huge as compared to their stores back home in WV. Plenty of selections in ALL departments but the meat department was exceptional & the produce dept was absolutely phenomenal! Too bad this store is in KY...just a 3 hour trip (one way) from WV where I live! Drat!!

I went in to Kroger on Delaware get some dog food and bread .the employees are very helpful. Had a 52 lb of dog food and they offered to take it off shelf and carry it out to my car even though they was busy stocking shelves.

I came here for a great salad and it didnt disappoint cuz I got what I needed and it was very fresh and the ranch dressing tasted so good I swear to God that have peppercorn in it and I love the peppercorn it is so delicious learns me of the days when Mama used to make it on the front porch at daddys house

Clean has large variety of food and other items so one stop is all it takes. They also have a pharmacy and electric shopping carts for handy cap individuals.

They need to do a better job keeping the shelves stocked, especially when theyre having a sale. Also, they rarely have enough baggers and we often end up bagging our own groceries. But they are getting a gas station- finally!

This is always a busy store, but they need to a better job keeping it clean. I was recently there with my son, who had a bathroom emergency, and after walking into the restroom he declared that hed rather have an accident. It wasnt just busy shift, no time to clean for a few hours dirty either...it was the most disgusting bathroom Ive ever seen.

Its in a bad neighborhood, as some other reviewers have pointed out, but still clean and well-maintained with a good selection. Only complaint is the parking lot. Usually its big enough, but it can get cramped during busy times

I hadnt shopped at this Krogers in a while. I had been shopping at this facility at least two or three times a week for over ten years. I was a little disapointed when i walked in, the shelves needed restocked, the floors needed mopped and they needed more workers on the floor. I was pleasantly surprised when I needed assistance, the employees were helpful and courteous. Parking lot seems small and when they are crowded, you may have to wait for a parking space.

The manager is very kind and competent.

Its a super market. Nothing remarkable, either good or bad. Not spotless but not filthy. I wouldnt go out of my way to shop there, but if it was local and convenient it would be a primary store. Everything you would expect from a grocery store.

When the security guard is there, everything is okay, but when he is not there, the place turns into a hellhole. If you dont have drug addicts pestering you for a dollar or a ride outside of the store, youll get hassled by drunks inside of the store. I miss Jimmy Mays. He had the trains running on time at that store.

Kroger is doing a good job at that store, all the checkouts were open.....You dont get that at big stores....

Cheap prices on some and great coupons

They recently rearranged everything and its hard to find stuff now. Plus this Kroger is located in the ghetto and too many junkies hangout by the doors scoping out potential victims. Everytime my hubs and I find something we really like, Kroger will just out of the blue quit selling the product. Which is such bullcrap because in 15 years it has happened on NUMEROUS occasions. It gets so freakin annoying.
