I love getting tacos and groceries from El Molino.Their food is excellent and everyone is friendly. To order food, just place your order at the podium in the middle of the store and pay there. Then you can go shopping for fresh cheeses, spices, sauces, candies, etc. Checkout through the grocery side while waiting for the food to come up.Sidewalk tables out front give you time to enjoy your tacos and take a break.

Its a good place to have a fast meal and grab a drink from the supermarket. Foods are made fresh there and taste flavorful! We go there often.

Gets 5 stars for having the best tacos in Charleston. Unfortunately as someone who just moved here from Las Vegas, they dont hold a candle to some of the better taco joints there, but even Charleston cant be perfect! Just close.Confusing ordering system. You order from the girl at the little podium. You dont have to show your receipt to the guys. They get the order printed out back there once you place it.Salsas are good. Interesting, but good. I wonder what makes them look vaguely creamy. Portions are the real winner. They heap that meat into these puppies, which is welcome! The supermarket also has a wide assortment of drinks, but youll need to purchase those at the register. Would be nice if you could just pay for everything at once.

Saw an add for this place for taco Tuesday, and it did not disappoint. We got the half chicken, half shredded beef. And everything was absolutely amazing. The meet was tender, the veggies were crisp, the quantity was fulfilling. High recommend.

El Molino is a Charleston GEM! The supermarket itself is a beautiful, organized, clean market with fresh produce and endless goodies and kitchen supplies. They sell their freshly made corn tortillas out of their tortilla shop in the back and each time I’ve bought them, they were warm and perfectly light and full of flavor. They also have a taqueria within the market with hands-down the BEST tacos in Charleston. Right beside the taqueria is their butcher shop which is full of assorted fresh meats that were prepared with care. And on top of having all of these amazing features, their customer service is always superb. We are always greeted with kindness and on our last visit, we had not one but two employees offer my baby girl a lollipop while we shopped. I wish this business all of the success — they most certainly deserve it!

El Molino was recommended to me by a lady in church. They have a great selection of ice cream and sorbets! I recommend the mango sorbet with fresh chapped mango. The store is very clean and organized. The staff is so friendly. I cannot mask and they didnt say anything or refuse me service. I am going back for their tacos, soon.

I had a couple of the vegetarian tacos and they were so yummy! You have to try them. I’ll definitely be back for those.For dessert, I had a portion of flan. I would NOT recommend the flan because it didn’t taste fresh.

Love love love this place. This is a market but there is also a bakery and ice cream shop. The best taqueria in town is also here. If you havent tried it yet just go. Go now. Everything is so yummy and fresh. The service is top notch.

This place has banging tacos/food which is ordered and paid separately in the back of the store at its own register. The 3 for $9.99 birria tacos is a great, filling deal and come with double tortillas stuffed with slow cooked meat, cheese, cilantro and onions. They come with a perfect dipping container and spicy green salsa. Delicious!

Great market and AMAZING prepared food. The tacos and tamales are so so good (pastor is melt in your mouth) and horchata and flan are the perfect add ons!!

The tacos are sooooo awesome and very tasty. Giving them 10 thumbs up because its very authentic and you rarely see that here. I recommend to everyone go try them and the price is reasonable plus the portions are great!!!!!!

Like every place in Charleston, it costs our family of 3 $50 for a simple meal without extras- but unlike many places we’ve been, it’s totally worth it. The birra tacos were great, the regular tacos were amazing. This is actually authentic food, not Tex-mex. we weren’t fans of the guacamole, but we like chunkier guac so that’s just a personal preference.

Great tacos and quesadillas and very reasonably priced, try it with pastor, thats marinated pork and in my opinion the best filling choice. This is now my wife and my favorite go-to place for Mexican food, in a supermarket! They carry other foods you cant find in most grocery stores, some exotic fruit juices and smoothies in the refrigerated section, Latin American pastries, plenty of condiments and more...so glad its here.

I can’t say enough good things about El Molino! The staff is fantastic and the food is amazing.I grab tacos from here at least twice a week and I’ve never been disappointed. They are SO GOOD. On the way home from Mass at St Josephs, we noticed the new supermarket. Wow, what a nice addition to the neighborhood. We bought some groceries and fresh vegetables along with four pork tacos, made fresh from their kitchen. They were delicious! They also have a full butcher shop. Check them out and support our local business.

Excellent service, grocery also with great fresh made food and fresh pastries. Tacos Are Soft Corn. Get a burrito if you want a flour tortilla...its grilled and great with carne asada. Marinated meat to grill at home too. Fantastic

El Molino Supermarket on Sam Rittenburg Boulevard in West Ashley is a wonderful international grocery store that has many items that you will not find in other area grocery stores. They have a really good produce section, bakery, butcher, and my favorite part is their taqueria which may have some of the best tacos in town. They have really good values on most items here and I have been happy with my purchases every time I have been here. The staff here is very welcoming and makes sure that you are helped. They are well worth a visit.
