Good selection of merchandise and clean, open store. Items discounted, but not slashed in prices, so if you like West Elm, it is worth the trip. Fun to look at everything in person and touch the furniture, rather than just seeing it in a catalog. The store was easy to navigate and is located toward the center of the outlet mall, so it is convenient. Worth the time to look. There are some bargains to be found.

Drove 4 hours just to go to this store. It did not disappoint. You can’t go looking for a set piece but if you’re open to scanning the store can find some great deals. The staff were amazing! They are friendly and eager to help you with anything. Can’t wait to go back.

I always find something new and reasonably priced. I love this place. More signage within the labyrinth of walkways would be helpful.

Do not purchase anything until youve looked up the item on West Elms website. Item in the outlet store was priced $200 more than new on the website. Same piece of furniture, same finish, same size. I could have bought it new without scratches for about the same price after the outlets markdown.

Found lots of great deals. Salespeople were helpful and treated us like we could buy anything. I appreciated that, because although we didnt look it ... we could have.

I ordered a pair of curtains 9/2/2020. As of this post I still do not have those curtains. I have reached out to “customer service” by phone twice and both times told they had to send off something to get me an update and that I would hear back in 3-5 business days. Neither time have I heard back. I asked to cancel the order and was told this was not allowed and that once I get my curtains I can send them back. I have also emailed West Elm with zero response. It’s been 6 months and no one can give me an update. If I track the order it will give me an estimated date which has obviously been pushed back repeatedly. My last arrive date was 3/9/2021 and when I checked today it said 4/2/2021. The customer service is lacking and West Elm clearly doesn’t care. Take your business elsewhere is what I recommend.

I know this is an outlet store but It was very understaffed. I bought a dresser that feel apart in my car during transport due to the fact that it was made of particle wood and not properly prepared for handling by West Elm staff. The fall apart dresser cost $500...btw.

A god-awful experience with West Elm. Ordered two chairs. Only one was delivered. They had our money for over five months. Spent over 9 hours on the phone trying to resolve the issue. Disrespectful customer service. I should have supported a small local furniture maker to begin with, and perhaps this is my karma for not doing so. Ill never buy from this big-box company again. I would strongly encourage you to steer clear from West-Elm.

This place is ridiculous. I had a mask on and a lady came up to me told me my mask wasn’t acceptable when my face was fully covered. Her name was Karen.... says it all.

I have held off on writing this review for a while, because this is someone’s way of making a livingand I understand working in customer service can be challenging at times, however Every. Single. Time. I shop at this location the manager Shelly is speaking poorly of her colleagues or a customer. It’s incredibly uncomfortable and needs to be addressed.

We drove out of our way to come to the outlet. We checked the hours online and when we arrived were told that they would be closing for lunch in 10 minutes. It was pouring rain outside so we could not just wait around for 30 minutes. We were disappointed with this experience. If they close for lunch they should post these hours online. I would call before going to see what hours they decide to work that day.

The outlet store in Asheville is currently allowing less than 15 people inside. The manager answered the phone and said they only have one person working, that she knows what her capacity is, and that is less than 15 people in the store. I thought capacity was based in size of stores, not employees? Sounds like she is using Covid-19 as an excuse and there is a long line outside for no apparent reason (in my humble opinion). If you plan to come, don’t!

Friday, Match 6 2020. Website says open at 10AM. Drove 50 miles to be here, Sign on door says open at 10AM. Doors locked at 10:25AM. Can’t see anyone in store. Called, no answer. 35 degrees. Walked to rear delivery entrance and rang bell. No answer, Don’t waste your time.

I purchase a cocktail table on line, when I got the table, I found that the table wast not what has been described by the store, very unstable and no well manufactured, so I decide to returned and get my money back, gust what! I only get back 60 % of what I paid, for that reason I give the store one star ⭐️

Take a Walmart quality table, throw it off the back of a truck and charge $1000 for it. I do not see how these people are getting away with ripping people off like this. Some of the sofas were cool, but you can find much better quality somewhere else.

I have mixed feeling about this store, initially I would only give it two stars based on floor layout, insanely priced furniture, more often than not damaged goods. But I do enjoy the type of furniture they carry, the staff is always nice and helpful, you do rarely get lucky and find something that makes financial sence. Overall I do enjoy walking throughout the store, if for anything, getting some inspiration for my home.

PRICES FLUCTUATE ALOT. Love the store. The prices are all over the place thought. Example would be a jewelry box that my girlfriend got. Two exactly the same boxes on the shelf, one was 49$ and the other was 149$ and the original price was 199$. No difference in boxes? The staff is friendly and they have a good stock of supplies. At this point I dont know why I try to shop there! I live close by and two years ago bought several pieces for our new home. At the time there were one or two helpful employees. Now most of them are rude, dont acknowledge your existence or act like youre putting them out if you ask a question.Aside from all this I keep trying to find an amazing deal and go in once a week to search for a few things that we want to get for our home. I think the quality isnt awesome either. The sofa I purchased there a little over 3 years ago looks older than the pottery barn sofa weve had for 18 years.Today was it, I wont go back for a while if ever. when I asked if there would ever be an additional discount on components the employee was unnecessarily rude to me when I know theyve had them marked lower in the past. As someone who previously managed a luxury retail store I dont know how these people keep their jobs.

ZERO STARS!!!!Beware! Unprofessional service in handling what they called a human error! Soon to be newlyweds purchased a couch before closing and was heading to pick it up the next morning and got a call in route that it had been sold and picked up already from someone else that had purchased it the day prior and we needed to come get a refund. The manager, Amanda, did not handle it in a professional manner. She offered a big whopping 10% discount on next purchase, like that would help much on another couch at their prices. We will never shop there again. Oh and the human error was they forgot to put a sold sign on in when the other customer bought it previously, but every other sold piece of furniture in the store had one. Really? Not our fault the staff was incompetent! Make it right!

Horrible customer service! Have been purchasing at West Elm main store for years; on a holiday went to their outlet purchased 3 items; can’t call it the best deal to beging with . Same as sale price at the main store. One item (glass pendant) scratched, item 3 was something entirely Different from the box. Now being an outlet store I do understand such things might happened. However, I’m from out of town & when called the store I left my information for the store manager to contact me - No response! Called back next day only to find out I have to spend More $$ to get either the item I thought I was purchasing or a refund. This sort of logic is reduced to nonsense. Word of advice to whoever is reading: always insists on opening the box, even if the sales associate refuses/convinces you otherwise. The store manager further lacks professionalism; borderline rude.

Rude and insanely overpriced. Cashier acted shocked that I was only buying 2 drinking glasses. Maybe I would have bought more if I weren’t from out of town and disappointed in the quality of the items. They don’t even use furniture pads or anything to avoid further damage to their furniture. And I’m supposed to buy more? No thanks.

I had a great experience at this outlet. The staff understood what we were seeking, showed us a few options and then left us alone to discuss. I have the feeling the workload gets pretty hefty for the staff, between in-store visits and people calling to inquire about the availability of specific items. If you’re there on a high traffic day (any weekend), they may seem harried. Tip from a pro: Thursday is often a delivery day of new items.

Was not OK with the snippy woman working at the front counter, who seemed quite peeved about being asked any questions. Otherwise, it is kinda hard to understand why some of the things here are priced so high. But, if you dig around, you can find some things that are more reasonable, such as trays and knickknacks.

I bought a desk here less than a year ago and have now found powder on the floor and in drawers.....I bought it with a type of beetle that lives in the wood and eats it slowly which is why I didn’t notice what was happening. Plus I rarely went into the desk so I’m guessing I would have seen this sooner if I had. Of course I can’t prove anything, but these insects live in wood and there is no other wood in the room so it had to have come from the store . This is cautionary and I’m warning those who buy at the outlet in Asheville.

Its an outlet store with often deep discounts for quality items or those that are only minimally damaged or scuffed. Like any place that offers deep discounts, youll have to check in to see what they have, youll have to sort and rummage through things, and pay attention to their sales. Its not the well-coiffed West Elm experience you have in the regular stores, by design...this is an outlet! The staff know us now and have been very friendly and accommodating on several occasions. Weve outfitted our entire house mostly with things from here.

I live near this store and visit it several times monthly. I’ve been in after mountain biking, and I’m sure I looked rough. They’ve always been pleasant to me (despite my state of cleanliness). The staff are not overly sales pitchy, which I appreciate; but if you need something, they are happy to help.They always have something on super sale. But it’s not always clear what the thing is. Again the folks working there are happy to clarify.The wood products from West Elm are sub par, in my opinion. They are not worth the money even on super sale. But the bedding is really nice, and they have pretty decorating items.I think it’s well worth the visit. But wait for the extra sale or just go in with an open mind. As a sidenote, I have bought bedding at this West Elm, then decided I didn’t like it anymore, and sold it on eBay. The items went quickly!

Great outlet mall. The reason my stars are low is because we had a horrible experience at the Nike out. We were followed and targeted. Im native American and my husband is black. Maybe the guy didnt like the color of our skin. Never felt so ashamed of how people are in 2019.

Sorry to hear anyones poor customer service experience. My wife and I were greeted upon entering the store. We told DJ what we wanted and he personally took us around. He gave us swatches to pick out fabric likes/dislikes and even took down what furniture we were looking for so they could contact us if it came in. They even offer free home interior design consultations. Some of the furniture is dinged up, and some of it is disorganized but its an outlet store so it is to be expected. If the price is to high you just come back and see if they have lowered the price the next week. If you want immaculate modern furniture, you have to pay regular/sale price online.
