Went there to get caliper covers installed, extremely nice staff, very quick process and they were one of the only ones who could install caliper covers.

Finding a good mechanic is a miracle. Been having work done here since they opened. Reasonable prices, quality work. And when I just need an opinion I get one. Not $1,000. repair. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

Jeff has worked on my F350 several times and is very knowledgeable, honest and does not overcharge me when I go in there. What more could you ask for? When Jeff fixes it that is the end of the problem. Excellent troubleshooting skills!

I went in for an oil change, change a headlight that died, and do some tests on the AC. When I got my car back that day I drove it home and didn’t touch it for over a week (I was working from home that week and never had a reason to drive anywhere). When I got in my car to go grocery shopping I went to put their maintenance paperwork in my glove box and saw that the entire button to open my glovebox was RIPPED OUT. This was a sticky button that was embedded into the glovebox, theres no way it just fell off. The button was there when I gave it to them because I got something out of there for them in their parking lot. I’ve called multiple times and they never answer my call or return my voicemails about it! Who does that??

I had an issue with my sons car and tried Franklin Car Care based on the good reviews and am glad I did. The owner Jeff was honest, and called me immediately to let me know what I was told was the problem was actually working. He did a diagnostic test and found the issue which saved me hundreds of dollars.. Its so hard to find a great car mechanic that you can trust and is honest. Most would have just did what I thought and took my money. I highly recommend this shop!

Jeff and the folks at Franklin Car Care are professional, honest, and genuine in the work they do. Its so hard to find a great car mechanic that you can trust and have honest relationships with. Jeff is that person. There are no surprises, and the price you pay is what he tells you. If there are options to save you money or prolong a repair, he will explain it. Where do I start these guys are great I had a knocking in the engine on my Audi TT I went to a lot of places one told me it was the engine but couldn’t tell me what it was I went to a transmission place they said it’s not the transmission place but Jeffs Transmission‘s was great they referred me to Franklin and let me tell you within an hour and a half these guys have my car fixed I will give them four stars and even a five star to six star these guys were amazing if you have a problem with your car let me tell you that’s the place to go I live in Springhill it was worth the drive to Tampa

Ive taken my car to this location a couple times now. I always feel Im getting honest feedback on what is important and what can wait based on my budget. I have an older Honda accord and I know parts can be expensive. They are always straightforward with what is urgent and what can wait. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a place to take their car. Honest mechanics are pretty hard to come by these days, but this place will take care of you like family! I initially got a quote for $400 to fix just my radiator at a auto service. I called about six places all lying to me about how much it honestly is to fix, I called Franklin Car Care and told him the issue and he immediately told me the honest truth, I didnt have to negotiate a fair price whatsoever. Not only was he honest and fair but, he fixed my car in a very timely manor with excellent customer service.

Jeff was very helpful and honest. Saved my daughter a ton of money. Another place told her she needed new bushings and an alignment. Jeff said he didnt see it and wasnt needed. He got her car in order for a long road trip. Im sold and have found my trusted local mechanic.

I am outraged about this company, I took my car so they can fix it. They overcharged me for labor, they did not even check the ECU computer of the car. If they did they wouldve found out about the real problem!!!!I had a small leak on my coolant box. Which was not the real problem to begin with, they said they would charge me $ 67.00 to replace the coolant box and $ 120.00 for labor a Total of 200 dollars.This coolant box only has two hoses and two screws anyone can replace this, and at advanced auto parts its available for 23 dollars. They mentioned there was nothing else wrong with the car. I had to take my car to another shop because it was still giving me problems , I would accelerate and it did not go above 5 mph. This smaller shop told me that I had sensor problem, I put gas at a place where it was more than 30% ethanol.. Which made my car loose power. So he put fuel injection cleaner for 5 dollars. He did not even charge me for the bottle... It goes to show that smaller businesses go out of their to help you, unlike this company Franklin car care. I not only wasted time but money I dont recommend anyone to this dishonest company...

Family place with good HONEST service had a timing belt issue which was much deeper than first thought. They left the car apart to show us the exact issues they faced in trying to repair someone elses failed fix. They charged only for the time into the teardown and gave recommendation on ways to possibly fix. They also do work on Mercedes which is a plus. Their a small shop but they do good work and wont RIP you off. Highly recommended.

Ive been going here ever since my husband discovered the place. He is so nice and professional. He is really honest and I dont have to worry if hes trying to sell me other services I dont need. Hes up front with what he sees is wrong and the best way to fix it. I know I can trust him and his input when it comes to my car.

I have known Jeff for at least 15 years. Met him when he was a Manager for Tire Kingdom. He has always performed outstanding work and superior customer support. He opened up his own shop 4 or 5 years ago. Unfortunately, his shop is now across town in the Town & Country area. Thats approximately 45 minute drive one way from my home. However, I am more than willing to drive that distance in order to have Jeff and his crew work on my car and truck and purchase tires. His prices are more than fair.

Jeff is reliable, efficient, and trustworthy, with trustworthy being most important of course.His daughter runs customer service, and is the most dependable and pleasant person youll ever meet. She will always keep you updated on the status of repairs, oftentimes calling multiple times in a day letting you know how the inspection when, as soon as parts arrive, etc.The price is always fair and honest, which is rare in a mechanic. The first time I went, I thought my battery was blown (~250), and Katelyn informed me it would be 42$ as it was just the terminal. I was shocked that a mechanic would tell the truth when I was clueless, I didnt inspect the issue myself. Needless to say, I now come for all car problemsMy parents have used Jeff for over 15 years, and can even better attest to never being disappointed. Cant recommend this place. After charging me extra labor costs out of the blue after they quoted me and started working on my car, they left parts and wires dangling in the brake / clutch area. They also dented my body to where I cant open the passenger door more than halfway and didnt mention or take responsibility for this this at all. I will not be returning to this mechanic. It boggles my mind how this place has so many positive reviews.

I try to do as many repairs myself in order to save money. However, my alternator went out on my 2004 Pontiac Grand Am after 240,000 miles. Since the serpentine belt was the original I decided to change that too. I got the new alternator off and on without a problem and while attempting to put the new belt on I discovered that the motor mount was in the way. Being very frustrated and worried about spending a lot of money I called Jeff. Jeff told me that he would have no problem installing my new belt and he would charge me a very reasonable price for the labor. Jeff also told me he closes at 530pm and since my call was close to 5pm he would wait until the tow truck got there with my car because he wanted to make sure it got there safe and was secured.To make a long story short Jeff did exactly what he said he would do and was extremely honest and courteous. I now have a new mechanic and will recommend Jeff to everyone.

Very successful repairs. Unforeseen conditions were a reasonable upcharge. Estimates were spot on even though the old truck is a virtual can of worms. No certified mechanics even tackle pre-diagnostic computer repairs. Lots of common sense used here.I recommend any issues be addressed directly to Jeff before leaving feedback. We all tend to think mechanics are crooks but Jeff is the consummate professional, and I just met him.Personally, I was raised in the South. My first job was in a family garage - I know crooked business practice.
