Leon is the best!!! I called him on a Saturday after contacting another place about my need for new transmission lines. After reading the reviews here on Google .Leon said that he would put my lines on for a very reasonable price. The other place wanted almost double what he charged me!! Even though his shop was closed he made arrangements for me to pick up my car when it was finished and when I needed it. He did an excellent job and I have referred everyone who has asked me if I knew a trustworthy mechanic. Just like Im telling you take your car to Leon you will not be disappointed. Took my truck in to have the transmission replaced. He started off by telling me that there were no transmissions in the entire country available for my 2017 truck. Then changed his mind and said he found one. then ordered the wrong transmission. So we had to put back in the original transmission and it has been leaking since that day. I took it back in for him to look at the leak and there’s transmission fluid all over the bottom of my truck and he states that there’s no leak. I brought my 2006 Impala in to get a second opinion of my oil leak, which I was told was the oil pan gasket by a Chevy dealership. Leon called and said the oil pan gasket was fine, the leak was from the Oil Filter Extension gasket.He replaced that part and no more oil leak on the driveway.Leons work was thorough and cost friendly. He is my go to mechanic now.

Our teens car stopped dead and we suspected the transmission. Trusty Google led us to Leon who immediately connected us with a very efficient tow. Leon was very honest and diligent in solving our problem in the most cost effective manner. Turns out a hose burst and immediately drained all the fluid so we only needed a new hose and fluid and not a new transmission or rebuild. ONCE I WAS ON THE LIFT, LEON SHOWED ME THE PREVIOUS OWNER DID A HACK JOB AND ONLY RAN LINES TO THE COOLER AND NOT THROUGH THE RADIATOR, THEN TO THE COOLER. I ASKED WHAT WOULD HE CHARGE ME TO DO THE JOB CORRECTLY? LEON NO UP CHARGE! HE WANTS PEOPLE TO SEE ITS DONE AND LOOKS RIGHT. EVEN THOUGH NOBODY WILL KNOW WHO DID THE WORK. LONG STORY SHORT. THIS PLACE WAS GREAT! Leon took care of my 97 328i BMW and he was amazing! He was honest, fast and a pure delight to work with. I will return to him if / when I need to repair my car.

NEVER GO HERE. I took my car to get my transmission rebuilt. I had to go back FOUR times since within a five month period, because I was insightful enough to get the one-year warranty. Not only do they take DAYS to work on your car, but apparently, you have to twist their arm to get a rental because THEY DIDNT FIX IT RIGHT. I was quoted a better price and better quality from a different transmissions place. My transmission went out while I was driving on the highway - with my BABY in the car - after the third time they fixed it. Transmatics has completely wasted my time and my money, not to mention putting my family in danger. My next step is demanding a refund or they will talk with my lawyer for advertising fake services.

I highly recommend Transmatics Transmissions. I havent been treated this well by a mechanic in over 10 years!!!I had just gotten off I-75 for a business meeting, thankfully an hour early, when my car started making a weird noise. While I was driving I was turning everything on and off to see what the cause was, but couldnt figure it out. I got to my destination and immediately popped the hood and called my brother. Long story short he figured it was most likely something related to the transmission. So I looked up Transmission Mechanic on Google Maps and Transmatics Transmissions was right around the corner. I drove my car over and spoke to Leon immediately after arriving. He drove the car around the lot and told me he would find the problem. He then offered to DRIVE ME back to my meeting! I dont know of any mechanic anywhere that would do that, even if it were around the corner! I got a call later from Leon stating that they wouldnt be able to fix it today because the part wouldnt come in on time. After I told him I didnt want stay unless absolutely necessary he offer another solution that wouldnt risk destroying my car on the ride home so that I could have it fixed later. I opted for Plan B, then Leon came and PICKED ME UP from my meeting!Other than not having AC for the ride home, the consequence of Plan B-thoroughly explained beforehand, I felt like a princess. And they only charged my $60 for taking apart my engine and telling me exactly what my problem was. Now my brother can fix it this weekend! Thank you Transmatics!

Just a few days ago my transmission started slipping a bit. Then it started making some very nasty growling noises. Got into a parking lot and every gear acted like neutral; my transmission was TOAST! Looked into a lot of different shops and was really starting to question if I should even keep my van or just get a new one because of the high costs everywhere I called for rebuilt transmissions.I heard about Transmatic Transmissions from a trusted mechanic. When I called, a tech answered the phone. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. When he learned that I drove a van he immediately asked if it was a work van. I said yes and he quickly figured out what it would take to get it done as fast as possible so that I can keep working. I had my van towed there and 1.5 days later they called me letting me know I was good to go! Very good turnaround time! My transmission repair was HALF the cost of most other places I called!

The car shifts like it should and it didnt need a rebuild. I was worried most about the cost but the problem was inexpensive by comparison. The car was back in a short time so that was convenient. I will use them again when the transmission does go. They definitely earned my business.

A truely honest mechanic. I found this shop last year after being told by another mechanic I needed a transmission. Leon looked at the car and determined it only needed wheel bearings, saving me thousands of dollars. Was back again today for an axel repair, for a price much lower than quoated at Tire Kingdom, and job completed in just a few hours. Leon is my hero!

This place is not new but they know cars. I brought my car to a place in Tampa and they told me I had a transmission problem and I would have to replace it for $2300. With advice from a friend, I decided to take another opinion at Transmatic Transmissions. He told me it was a transmission sensor that would cost $250 to fix. AWESOME!!!

I plan to drive it another 100,000 miles. I would 100% recommend this shop. Hard to find a good mechanic. I think I will now get all my work done there. He is trustworthy, upfront with prices. I called around other places and they would never really tell me how much It was going to be. They said well I have to check it then Ill let you know. Leon said it will 1600 to rebuild or at worse case 2800 or so for remanufactured. Either way both were better than deal. Thanks Leon. I can use that car not money for other things now.

I do not know how this mechanic was rated so highly. I am completely livid at the treatment I received and maintained my temper and composure until I got home after receiving absolutely no help and having a whole day wasted,when my carcould have been being repaired at another shop so that I could go about my every day life. I had gone shopping the day the car broke down and had brand new clothing in the shopping bag, and was almost speechless when I found the bags empty.. This is after the mechanic gave me a run around all day as to what waswrongeith my Prius, after confidently assuring me he was able to work proficiently on hybrid vehicles. He is a fraud. Id be surprised if any of these reviews are true.
