Very friendly manager helped me in a pinch to get a brake light bulb replaced. Did not overcharge and was quick and easy. Would reccommend to anyone.

They took great care of me. Being a local business almost next door to them, they made me feel like they appreciated me using them for business. Got my recommendations for future repairs and look forward to getting back in there.

Everyone is so friendly at this office from Sheila at the front desk to John who works on the cars. We brought both our cars here; mine for an A/C issue and my husbands for an oil change. I didnt think there was anything wrong with my A/C but my husband did. John checked it out thoroughly finding nothing wrong, and didnt even charge us! My husband needed an oil change, and he likes a synthetic blend. I called around and everyone else want $70 for this service. They charged $40 which included tax. I will definitely continue to bring our cars there for any other services.

A great alternative to the dealership wanting to charge almost 3 times as much as what Meineke charged for the same outcome. Meineke staff was to the point and honest about expectations and pricing.

This location is owned and operated by John and Sheila Taylor. The work on my vehicle was quick and done right, something Meineke has long built a reputation for. I was very surprised at how welcoming this particular location is. In the time I got to talk to Mrs. Sheila, I could tell without looking that she is a well ingrained piece of the Tampa area. Then it was verified by other customers that explained in a few sidebar conversations why they’ve been customers of theirs for 10-15 years. If i had more time to get into this review i personally would but I’m on the move right now. I’d like to thank John and Sheila for their help yesterday. I will be a retuning customer as well.

Hello I appreciated the fact that they also sent me to a different location to check a different part of this car before we purchased it. We did not end up buying the car because of their decision but it wasn’t fit to drive for my six month old grandson

I was given an estimate by the very rude and unpleasant owner. I was quoted $800. She said I needed a new radiator, hoses, and some other components. I politely asked to speak to the mechanic. She immediately said no with a vile smug smirk. I explained I would like to have just the hoses and other items replaced for another mechanic or myself to do the radiator. Upon this request she called the mechanic to have my truck removed from the shop and denied me service. I explained that i would be more than happy to pay for the replacement of the work i wanted done. She said no, I am the owner and youre trying to go Over me to my mechanics. So apparently, at this shop clients are banned from speaking to the mechanics. I did not understand why she wouldnt do the work i wanted. She obviously didnt want us speaking to the mechanics out of fear. Also when she saw i was waiting in the shop, she kept asking me why I would stay Im wait, obviously not wanting me to stay and watch. Finally i arrived with a tiny leak in my radiator, when I pulled off, my radiator was pouring out coolant. They purposely furthered the damage on my radiator. Finally, i left and got all the work done at another shop for half the price. He also confirmed that the mechanics at Meineke purposefully damaged my motor. My advice, dont waste your time giving this miserable, sour, vile ogre of a woman your money.

The owners are very kind, professional and knowledgeable. Prices are great! Their mechanics got the work done on my car fast and efficiently. Highly recommend! I will be going back, and if I could give more stars I would.

I really trust this business I have an older car and on a budget but I always feel very comfortable to go there with my car they fixed my catalytic converter on a budget my car runs smooothly now thank you for your great service

Dropped my car off at 9:30am, received a phone call from I believe her name was Sheila or something very similar. She’s the “owner” so you can find out if you really care to. She told me I needed 3-4 additional repairs other than my basic oil change (which is all I came for) once I told her no thanks to the additional repairs she said “okayyyy heh well your care is ready” with a sarcastic flair to it. So I scooter in the pouring rain to the place & I have my raincoat on & my covid mask on. As soon as I get into the door Sheila says “WHAT ARE YOU HERE FOR?” To pick up my car… I said rudely back cause that is no way to greet a customer and after knowing I was a customer she has the audacity to say “how was I supposed to know your coming in all hooded up with a covid mask like your going to rob the place” first off its raining, second my car was still up on the lift at 4:30pm when she called me over an hour ago saying it was ready, third, im wearing a mask because i’m not vaccinated not because i want to rob you of oil & tires. Look. I ended up giving the lady a well deserved F you because I have never, NEVER, been felt so belittled, disrespected, and profiled in my life. Let alone getting a simple oil change. Unreal. I’m going to jiffy lube lmaooo

Service was good. However the gentleman that was helping was coughing and not a single mask in sight. So I wont be visiting again. I have asthma and wear a mask to keep myself and others safe.

I needed a header piece and a muffler welded. They provided a nice welding job in a rush situation for me. They also stayed open for a few minutes past closing so that I could get there to pick up my parts. Very much appreciate Sheila and her shop crew for helping me out. They are A + !

Always, when I need a help with my car, they are willing to do it. For example, for a woman of my age its difficult with your tires. So I always go there. I know them, they dont know me, but no matter they help me, for free! They are diligent and with a lot of work to do, but no matter what, they are available to help. Of course I give thanks.

As always they were quick and efficient I always trust meinekei for my oil changes.

They will scam you if you don’t know anything about cars. They tried charging me 280 to literally take off 4 bolts and install a axle back exhaust.

St8 forward, solid pricing, applied savings even b4 I asked. Work seems good so far. I recommend.

I took my car to this place to have AC fixed which l payed over $400. Couple of weeks later the car had the same issues, l called them and they asked me to bring the car back which l did. They fixed it agin and the AC was working again at least for more couple of weeks and now back again. I called them again, l was told to bring it again which there is no warranty to fix it if the same problem persist. Now l had to take my car to a dealer which has warranty Incase the same problem comes back. Will not recommend this place to anyone unless u you want to flush your money down the drain. Disappointed 😞

Completely unprofessional, won’t provide any explanation or job description that he’s about to perform and charge you for it , after questioning definitely didn’t provide what was promising and charging for unfortunately no refund which I think should be ! the job wasn’t done as promised ! on top left the car with the lights on ,on the lift for an hour and 20 minutes next day was have to tow car to dealer MBenz of Tampa was diagnosed for replacement 2 batteries and alternator and voyage sensor!!! reasons, that the car wasn’t disconnected from power/batteries and ignition key was on while exhaust welding was performed which shorted out all main electric systems.now I don’t have the car for a few days now and looking on huge repair cost! !! Won’t ever advertise that place to anybody and won’t suggest you to go there!

The service on the car was good as always, but the receptionist, while friendly, was not wearing a mask and even had the gall to ask me why I was wearing one! Very disappointed in the health practices of this location and did not feel comfortable waiting in their lobby. Will not be returning for the duration of this pandemic.

Did not need back right away. They had truck about a week which was ok. They kept me updated. When ready I picked up. I asked the lady at the desk to apply my senior discount. She said she could not since she printed the bill already. I had not given her my credit card yet nor had she given me the total. I said I havent given you payment yet you cant correct? No, was the reply and she seemed annoyed. Dont know of any businesses in this day and age that cant void and redo. So did not get my discount on almost $600.

Amazing experience. The customer service is above and beyond anything I have ever experience. The level of care and the deep knowledge of the mechanics at work on my car was so tremendous I don’t see myself ever going to another mechanic unless this one is not available.

I paid $117 for an oil change. They did not too off any of the fluids like they stated on the receipt. The same thing happened with a cousin of mine. So check your receipt and make sure that all the services were completed.

Sheila was amazing. I went there for my first time for an oil change. I was on my lunch and was able to get in and out. The place is clean and their sole purpose is to be the best they can to their customers. They treat us like family. Thank you Mrs Sheila you are amazing!

Disappointed and sad. I saw a Groupon for a different Meineke (10 miles from my house) One axle brake job full price $225.00 discounted by 40%. I decided to use this Meineke 0.5 miles from my front door. I planned to pay full price but found and printed a 50% discount on “parts only” from the corporate website.I planned to pay a “little less” than full price $225.00. Owner called me at home with the price of $243.00. $225.00 plus local tax rate equal $243.00. I agreed to have the work done. When I paid for the work, Joe told me the true total was $311.00 …..no extra work was done just new pads , resurfacing and labor. Shame, Shame, ShameMy fault, not Joe’s, that I trusted him. If I remember correctly, I went to use his Meineke previously but left because I got a bad vibe. Joe, why you could not find me as a return customer in your computer, I left last time …should have left again. Shame, Shame , Shame.

Was in need of going in and getting new brakes. From the moment I got there to the moment I picked up my SUV- everything was smooth. I went in for two specific things. Brakes and a new headlight bulb put in. This was the first time ever I have experienced that a maintenance repair shop did not call me telling me I needed multiple things done. Thank you for being so friendly, professional, adequate and not telling me I need more done on my SUV like other dealerships and maintenance repair shops. My suv is well taken care of. My experience at Meineke was more than expected. Needed complete exhaust system on my 2002 Honda accord was priced over $2000.00 from Honda.Walked out of Meineke spending 1/3 the cost and the job came out better then new. Would highly recommed this place

They always honor my on-line Meineke coupons. So far, so good. They use high quality oil. I keep coming back every 3 months for an oil change. Havent had any problems. The wait has been reasonable, short. Their waiting room has WiFi, and customers bathroom is clean with all you need. Thank you Meineke.

Not only is john a great mechanic and have a great staff of technicians behind him, sheila being a great office person keeping the ship running well, the atmosphere is astounding. I love coming here. John and Sheila take really good care of me and my car. We only have one car to our family and I often have my young children in their waiting room. They have things for them to do while we wait. When they work on my car I know that Im going to get great service. I also like it when they take me out, show, and explain to me what is wrong with my car. They want you to know what is going on with your car. Our one and only car is our life line and they make sure itll last a lifetime. And they are always reasonable on their prices. As long as we live in Tampa Ill be driving the 13 miles through Tampa to get to them just because of the way they treat me, my family, my car, and my wallet.

I was given an estimate from another company for brakes that I thought was pretty high. So I went to Meineke because they worked on my car in the past. Once they got it up they came out and asked what my breaks were doing. I said nothing but per the estimate I got they are really bad.They told me they couldnt take my money for brakes because my car doesnt need them. And the front brakes were like new.The point is they did the right thing and I trust them. The other company was trying to take advantage of me.What a blessing this company is.
