I’ve gone to this Midas for a few years now, and I’ve always had exceptional service with them. Steve helped me with replacing my rear brakes recently, and he was very kind and knowledgeable. Along with the option to drop off my car after hours, the entire process was incredibly convenient. Big thanks to Steve and the rest of the crew! I’d recommend them to anyone. :)

Horrible, horrible, horrible! This place never tightened my vehicles lug nuts after putting new tires on! We could be have been killed in a car accident….the most unprofessional mechanics work here. it’s shameful. If I could I would take away their license they are not qualified to work on vehicles

Midas helped us out when our exhaust broke, they were able to fix something I didn’t think was repairable.

Brought a car in a few years ago, they diagnosed and fixed it same day. Brought in a different car today, and once again they will have it fixed same day. Great experiences, and very nice staff. I highly recommend coming here for getting issues diagnosed and resolved quickly. Fair prices too!

Kevin was very professional and welcoming. He was able to help out my son who was stranded in his area with a tire losing air fast. Other tire stores told my son to leave his car and it would be ready by next day. It was a quick and easy patch. Fortunately, Kevin / Midas were able to help out my son and not leave him stranded.

This was my second trip to Midas on Woodward in Royal Oak. Each time I came in expecting to be leaving with a huge repair bill, but it has not been the case either time.They fixed my issues quickly and were very professional in their operations, both in the office and the garage.Sure, nobody likes paying for car repairs, but I think we can all agree that finding a place that is honest and does quality work takes the anxiety out of taking a vehicle in for repair.

Best price on tires that i could find. O called around too. Second time Ive used these guys and they were very friendly and helpful.

Would not recommend this shop for any tire-related services. Their techs don’t know what they’re doing and will gouge scratches into your wheels.

Very satisfied. Im not a car person; I can barely tell a tie rod from a head gasket. I got quotes from a few places before stopping by. Not only did Steve and Ken gave me the best price on tires and alignment, but they explained exactly what they were doing and why - even using diagrams when I asked questions! And they were quick and friendly to boot. I would go back to these guys again, no question.

Had an alternator replaced after breaking down on a Friday night. Called them 15 minutes after they closed and they still answered. Told me to drop it off and they could get it in on a Saturday. Got it fixed within an hour Saturday morning and had great customer service. I have been to many other Midas but recently moved to Royal Oak, and can say that this one has the best customer service. Walked in and had 4 separate employees ask me if I had been helped walking by. I will definitely be going back in the future.

Hands down the best repair experience Ive ever had. I was prepared to spend $200 to have my exhaust fixed. Imagine my delight when, Ken, the technician told me it would only be $25. The owner, Mike, is aces. I wont hesitate to use his facility in the future.

Don’t visit Midas at all, they give franchise to frauds! Midas won’t respond to customer complaints. Schaumburg, IL location cheated me for 2.5 grand.

Where to begin. I had a recent accident someone hitting me and my collision shop brought my vehicle here for suspension repair only to get it back well in the same condition, loose steering, Binding feeling in the rear and to top it off 4wd issues when engaging which should not have been an issue. Short story nothing was fixed and they apparently broke the rear brake hoses which now I would have to pay for their mistakes a few hundred dollars. I had to go to them twice and tell them what the issue was. Very frustrating even when my vehicle was gone for a month. No help

I have been a customer of this Midas for over 20 years. Courteous, prompt and very good about explaining what needs to be repaired immediately and what can be scheduled in the future. Great helpful service!

This is a good shop. They are honest about what your car needs, and the pricing is reasonable. I highly recommend this shop for mechanical repair.

After going to Belle Tire, who told me I needed all kinds of parts, I went to this Midas shop. They looked at my car and actually brought me out and showed me what was good and what was bad. They also showed me what was wrong and explained it in easy terms, and taught me a thing or two. THIS SHOP SAVED ME OVER 450.00 in repairs! I later went back with my other car that I was told needed extensive engine repairs, and left Midas with a new ignition coil and a great running car for only 140.00! I started going there after hearing from one of my neighbors about their service. Highly recommend!

Great experience. Very professional staff.

Took my car in there to get my breaks done. They found several other things that they wanted me to get done right then. Sure, the issue with my steering column was important. But I told the guy that I only had money to do my breaks and I felt like he was putting a ton of pressure on me to have everything worked on right then which would have added up to over $1000 worth of work.

Really good a few years ago my car broke down. Blown head gasket. Car fixed in a week.

I can trust Steve not to fix something when he knows it isnt worth it or there is a better way, that that saves more money than most people know! Ive never had to wait more than a day for repairs. And to top it off, they are friendly people. Bill Branham, Royal Oak, MI.

Honest place great service

Just wanted to say thank you again to the guys here at Midas. I had a flat going down Woodward and found out that I had no lug wrench. I pulled in and they dropped everything and had me back on the road in less than 10 minutes. High point of an otherwise fd up day.

Good Value, Nice service folks. Met ths owner who was nice. Was a little worried about past reviews but they lookdd over my car as I requested (21.01 for the inspection). Called around for price quotes before oking the fix (prices were similar at the other 2 places I called). The fixed my car quick so I could head north for my weekend with the family! Ill come again for sure (though hopefully not to soon ^.-)

Dishonest... my driver side rear tire was over inflated by 10psi to purposely test their free tire rotation and low and behold which tire is still 10psi higher than the rest? This is even after I straight-faced asked if my tires were indeed rotated. Guess the only thing you get free at this location is a lie.

!!!!! WARNING !!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR OR TRUCK HERE !!!!Never take your vehicle here, Took my truck in for a simple fuel line repair, 2 days later my fuel line burst while driving causing both a near fatal crash and me being stranded in traffic. Brought it back to them so they could correct there mistake since according there website they warranty there work. NOT TRUE! Charged me again for the same work, and being an engineer I asked for the parts back, I looked them over they used the wrong parts and charged me for a different part. After $600 for a tow, double parts and labor, and being treated very very poorly. AND NEVER once apologizing for there mistake. DON’T TAKE YOUR TRUCK or CAR HERE.In summary, this shop takes advantage of its customers and operator dishonestly. If you care about your car and safety never take your car or truck here. Consider this your warning, wait till your local shop can take care of you.

This was my first time and I only got my battery replaced, so no major work.They were courteous and quick, the prices were reasonable, neither cheap nor expensive.

These guys are complete and total crooks. deserve to have the BBB called on them. I went in asking for a quote telling them i needed front rotors and brake pads. They told me they could not quote me a price without looking at it. So i handed them my keys and off they went to pull it in. Lets keep in mind i told them EXACTLY what i needed. they looked at it, came back with an estimate for over $750 replacing the parts i asked for plus about 10 things i told them i didnt want done (none of which effect the safety of my vehicle) i explained again i brought it in for front pads and rotors to which the guy told me well if you want to be unsafe i can give you a quote for the bare minimum he handed me another quote still over $400 trying to bully me well these are the low quality brake pads, you wont get a lifetime warranty and you will waste more money in the end i told him i had heard enough and please just put my wheels back on so i can leave.... he only than told me well alright but its a $19.95 fee for the inspection i threw a $20 bill at him (didnt get my 5 cents change...he didnt even offer...oh well) i informed EVERYONE in the waiting room of what happened and a couple even left with no services rendered after hearing them try to rip me off. Sorry im not a ditzy kid who doesnt know better... i told them what i needed, they tried to rip me off.... Dont rip off a car guy..... This place will steal every dime you have and probably STILL not repair the only thing you actually ask them to. Will never go back, and will publicly tell anyone i know not to give business to Midas.
