Great people. Got me right in and out. A little hidden from everything. But thats part of the charm of the place. The people just make it the best. Ill take all of my work there from now on.

This garage done 4K in work to my truck... after having it for 2 months I got the truck back drove about 30 miles... the truck began to loose oil pressure... they replaced the oil pump cam and lifters which would mean all push rods replaced and all upper gaskets well half of everything was replaced... I made it home by the time I pulled in the driveway it completely lost oil pressure and was knocking... they refused to fix the truck.... would not take responsibility... the truck did not knock or tick at all before they worked on the truck... i was assured the oil pump pickup was checked and clean as well as you can see in the photos it was obviously not checked or cleaned.... bolts were left loose.. hose clamp left off... several bolts over torqued broken off or stripped out.... it went to there shop for a missfire code on 6 cylinder and low oil pressure originally....

Weve had minor repairs and services done at this shop twice and each time we received pleasant, professional customer service. But what we noticed most is they do not do repairs we do not need. Very honest shop, which is very hard to find. We will recommend them.

I drove up to them with a problem that simply started when I inadvertently left my switch turned on.Drained battery completely and I charged overnight. Well in my Durango it caused problems I have never seen but I was told this was the non-dealership garage that could help meI was taken right away and because I dont have any other way around. I was surprised by this but was happy. O couldnt have seen anyone else without todays new word...appointment.I waited as he reprogrammed modules in todays vehicles with on board computers. Also I was needing front brakes and I have my car back good to go.The office staff is very nice and helpful. The mechanics are very different than what I have seen before. They are capable to tell you about the possible problems without a machine saying it.Oh yeah they have many fantastic diagnostic tools and they will check it too but dont rely completely on it.Needless to say I am very excited about Techne-Mechanical and would recommend them to my family and friends.Why not check them out and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Took my car for an electrical short repair. I got a call that it was ready all they did was pulled a relay and the real problem still there. Left it a week later the car is ready or so they claim and not only the problem still there now wiper won’t even work. Very disappointed at the service. I really believed I was taking my to the right place to have a real repair and instead I got a bandage and new problems. Definitely will not recommend it.

I went in for an inspection. They found a safety defect and showed it to me. They fixed it and it was ready a day earlier than they originally said.Also the price they quoted was right no. They are very honest and I will definitely use them for my car care needs.

My father took his 1998 doge ram 2500 to this people to get a new engine put in. It cost 3800. They told him that it needed a new transmission becuse it leak fuild so he goes to pick it up and its leaking as fast as you can put fliud in. They told him the only thing they could do is replace it. Every mechanic knows that while the transmission is out you go ahead and replace the front seal. They ethier forgot or they where trying to rod him thinking we didnt know much nothing about it . After talking to him about the promblem people just walk away said they wasnt going the fix there mistake . now we have to pull the transmission out and replace it ourself . you better think twice before taking any thing to these crooks.. They really dont deserve any stars in my opinion...

What a fantastic mechanic! I called him when he opened on a Saturday morning and he fit me in amidst a crowd of folks all looking to get their vehicles inspected on the last day of inspection. He gave my RV a good looking over spending the better part of an hour on it. His charge was beyond reasonable. Highly recommended

These people are awesome. While traveling through Roanoke, Virginia, we had a much needed repair ( minor but still important) that needed attention. Have used Techne for years. They offer superior service and expertise. These folks were great! They were able to locate the problem with my generator, get the part and install it in record time. They also spotted another problem with a fuel line and replaced it. The total cost was less than I anticipated which was unusual and greatly appreciated. I would definately recommend them.

The fastest car repair place I have ever seen!!! I had been getting taking advantage of with fixing my 2005 Magnum, I contacted them after my sister recommend them..they came and picked up my vehicle ,and told me everything that was wrong in a few hours😮 told me the price it would cost to fix and it was beyond reasonable!! Comparing to what I had already spent in repairs that where supposed to be done but wasnt...fixed my car in less than 24hr had it running and ready to go!!! They didnt try and force unnecessary Products on me and kept it truthful and honest..they have a continued costumer (me) I will never let another person touch my car other than them, they are friendly and the dog in the office is just down right awesome lol you have to give these guys a try! If your tired of being taken advantage of like me,and want the job done right go see them, best place ever and thats from the heart...thank you, you guys shes still running strong!

My husband and I had Techne put in an A.C. unit in our enclosed trailer in 2018. It has only been used like 6 times and it leaks when it rains. We notified them the first time it leaked and they fixed it no charge except us having to redo the ceiling, which isnt cheap. Well it obviously was not fixed because it has leaked again and our ceiling is ruined AGAIN! Lets just say we will NEVER go back nor recommend them.

My son has had his car inspected there for 4 years there and passed everytime, goes in this time they fail for horn not being on the steering wheel. Its has never been on the steering wheel since we have owned it and passed everytime like this now want to charge $130 to pass inspection, va state inspection manual states as long as it works and is readily available to the operator it passes. They just trying to get money out of my son that dont know any better never go to this shady business again!

Robert and his staff have been taking care of my cars, as well as my dads, for years. Id rather have him work on my Toyota than anyone else, including the Toyota dealership. Hes fair, upfront, and reasonable, and doesnt try to pull one over on me just because Im a woman. I wouldnt take my car to anyone else.

I later had my egr replaced at a different place and my car is running like a dream again, im so relieved !! Had my cars annual inspection. No appointment. Just walked in and asked if they could do it. They were friendly and said it would be done in about an hour due to other jobs. I said okay and watched some TV and about 45 minutes I was on my way home.
