I was there recently and was assisted by the wonderful Kenny (hope that’s how she spells it). She was so helpful and patient with me on deciding the frame I wanted. I brought my prescription and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Couldn’t be more happy with the experience.

Overall expensive compared to the national chains. They get you in with $95 frame, however prescription lenses add up quickly exceeding the price one would pay at other stores.Most annoying part for me was the wrong measurement on my progressive lenses. The offset was messed up while measuring it and OD at the store, which affected my ability to use progressive glasses.Id recommend to go with a local optical store, ask for lenses options that accommodate ones budget.Also keep in mind, that glasses need adjustment ones in a while. Most of the optical stores offer curtsey of adjusting them irrespective of the place glasses were purchased at. With Warby Parker glasses, I was warned of poor quality of frames, and the optical store not assuming responsibility for any damages during adjustment.

The lack of customer service I have received at the Greene Street SOHO shop is the reason of this rating.I had previously tried out WB frames at the Williamsburg Brooklyn store and found the customer service to be superb, hence I was surprised to the dismissive and impersonal experience I have experienced at this branch today from multiple staff members.1) Check in process- Staff member skipped me on the line and went to help the customer behind me check in without clarifying who arrived first.- Staff member trying to help another customer while in the process of helping me place my frame order.2) Order:- Staff member rushed through the order placement without explanation or guidance. I was asking to provided a series of personal information without explanation. The entire process felt rushed.- While performing the eye distance measurement test, there was a lack of explanation to why my photo was being taken and why WB had to scan my entire face with their app.I would describe my entire purchasing experience as abrupt and dismissive. Upon placing my order, I wanted to look at the actual frame to make sure I had ordered the correct frame, but the staff member appeared rushed, told me the item was not on display and was already on her way to help another customer.As a customer I felt like I was dismissed from the check in process throughout the order process. Will not be back.

Glasses arrived at my apt and were warped out of the box.. Took them in to the store and the optician was super helpful. He answered all my questions and told me about the warranty I have on the frames. Straight up got me new frames because of the degree of warp on them. Top tier customer service and the new frames fit like a glove!

I came into the store with a complex situation. Blue light lenses couldn’t be made for my WP frames because they were an older model. I recently got LASIK so I had no use for them otherwise. Christa was able to help quickly troubleshoot and empathize with my frustration. They were able to give me some credit for a new pair since I couldn’t update my old pair. Overall I find the staff here very friendly and appreciate their customer service, especially with Christa’s help.

My friend and I had a fantastic experience at the Greene St. location. The minute we walked in we were greeted and asked if we needed any help. Every employee was super attentive and knowledgeable. They gave honest opinions of which glasses looked best and really tried to help you find the best frames for your face shape. The checkout process was very smooth as well. I definitely would recommend to others.

The idea of inexpensive eyewear is simply too good to be true. Ive tried their progressives, but they use an average fitting height. What if Im not average? As it turns out, Im not and the lenses are useless. Now I can see with direct to consumer works with toothbrushes and toilet wands and whatever. But not for your face. Really....

Terrible actions by the staff !! Upon entering the store I was told, A face shield is not acceptable PPE only a mask according to the CDC is what the store associate stated. By telling any customer incorrect information and using the CDC as a reference is unethical. I will ask everyone that reads this to question Warby Parker true interest on misinforming their clients.

My first time in this location was horrible. I was in the store for a half an hour and not once did anyone ask me if I needed assistance. Once I picked out the glasses I wanted with the help of my husband, I had to approach a stand-offish employee. He informed me my glasses would be ready within a week.Ten days later I received an email informing me my glasses were ready for pick up. I headed to the back of the store for an optician to adjust my frames. This optician must of adjusted my frames 20 times but she still could not get it right. She kept saying it was good but every time I looked in the mirror it was noticeably crooked. I eventually gave up with her and left with my glasses uneven.

Jay the showroom guide and Gio the optician are the most helpful and lovely retail workers I’ve ever encountered. They took the time to solve my glasses problem and succeeded amazingly. Like seriously incredible customer service. Also another optician that I didn’t catch the name of gave me a water bottle when mine was empty. So sweet and thoughtful!!! Thank you!!!!

As a glasses girl, Warby Parker is of course in my collection. They changed peoples view on glasses and opened up a new world of affordability for many. I applaud this company over and over. The staff is fun and knows their glasses. They are patience as the 3 times I have been in the shop it was the evening rush. Cannot express how satisfied I am with my whole purchase. From ordering the try at home, I decided to check in store for more frames. Found the perfect ones as I walked in. The crew were extremely helpful. Got my eye exam done for $75. Frames shipped and delivered 4 days after my in store purchase. $95 for frames with prescription lenses! Came back a month later to fill out out of network insurance and adjustment. Again, everyone was very nice and super helpful! WILL recommend and return for more! Thank you guys 🙏🏼

Have been going to this Warby Parker for the past 5 years. Unfortunately, have had issues with my frame twice and while I am still happy with the product I have to shout out the excellent service I’ve received over the year and once again today.A big thank you to Brian and Alec, who were not only warm and friendly but also very knowledgeable and helpful. Know there are a bunch of stores available in the city (I’ve visited 3 of them) but definitely choose this one, you can count on top notch service and a satisfying buying experience.

Super dissatisfied with the services at this location. Poor customer service and no assistance when it comes to glasses selection.I literally had to ask one of the employees to assist me with the purchase, and in a blink of an eye he turned around and left me speaking to myself. Luckily I found another employee that was kind enough to assist me and explained the process in depth. Have always loved the glasses that WP has produced as well as the social mission. While I wish the social mission was a bit more pronounced in the store (as it goes beyond just the buy-one, give-one model), overall this brick & mortar store has a great presence. If you find yourself at one of their launch parties (I attended the Clark Kent launch this summer), youll certainly have a blast. Fun staff & great vibe.

Nicely laid out store that goes deep and youll be amazed by the amount of eyewear thats displayed all at once. It was nice that I could just grab a pair and try them on without a sales associate necessarily having to help me. I was just browsing so didnt need the help but it was definitely offered. I was not happy with my experience at all. I had an eye exam earlier this year for my glasses which but I was told I have to do a separate eye exam for my contact lenses which would be an additional fee of $45 if I do it in the first three month after my first eye exam. After not being able to schedule another eye exam because all appointments on weekends where fully booked for month at all NYC locations I was off the discounted rate. After talking to a manager at the store they would extent my discounted rate for once I have my contact lenses exam. Now that I had schedule this exam for tomorrow I get a call today where they would tell me it is $120 - even more than my initial eye exam for my glasses. I canceled and I am so upset about this experience. I was a fan of Warby Parker but I have received several different information about pricing and to call me today and tell me that the price I should expect to pay has tripped is very disappointing.

The store in SoHo is great, very large and designed well, with all of their frames on both sides of the store. They have a bunch of associates working and happy to help, and they have a photo-booth where you can take pics of you and your potential new glasses.I have a hard time picking out frames because I have a narrow face so I didnt get anything, but I do love Warby Parkers designs, colors, shapes, and of course the fact that they give a pair to someone who needs them when you buy a pair.

The staff at Warby Parker has a major attitude issue. I was asked if I needed assistance and kindly refused, when I was ready for help I was met with an eye roll and unnecessary impatience. Received order 3+ weeks late because they lost the first shipment. Retry order was delayed because the sunglasses failed a quality check at the lab. When the sunglasses finally came, they had the wrong lens color. If they dont have what you need on premises, spare yourself the torture.

Love their prices. I got a pair of sunglasses and a pair of computer glasses last year and they are still in good condition. I drop my sunglasses so many times but they havent scratched yet. Also loved that they got both pairs to fit exactly right (none of the previous eye glass stores did that).

I thought Warby was fine, not great frames but ok for the price, until I had to get my fairly new glasses replaced because they were scratched. The replacement service is much too slow. I dropped my glasses off more than a week ago and when I called just now I was told that it would be another week or so until the glasses would be in. That would make it a turnaround time of more than two weeks. This is far too long to be without glasses and it seems designed to force you to buy a new pair, despite the free replacement policy.

Ive always heard great things about Warby Parker, so when a physical store pops up, it makes trying on those cute frames that much more easier. There were so many to choose from and its easy to try them on with the mirrors. The employee was super helpful. I told her what Im leaning toward and she made some great suggestions and answered any questions I had without being pushy. High-index lenses are an extra $30, while the eye-exam is $75 which includes the pupil dilation. In the center of the room, there is also a timeline of all the key events for Warby Parker. There is also a photo booth hidden in the far right-hand side of the store which is fun! Your photos get both emailed and you get 2 copies printed. 8 )

I heard about warby parker from a coworker but nothing prepared me for the in-store experience I had with Lynette at the Grand Central location. She was a gem and such an all around nice person. I was under the impression that the price only included the frames not the lenses but when she told me its all inclusive I was floored. I have been wearing glasses since I was 2 and have a high prescription so I have always paid upwards of $600 just to get decent looking frames and super thin lenses. I ordered my first pair and if all goes well I will be back for some sunglasses. 😊

I normally love shopping with warby parker, but they need to have better management here. I had to ask 4-5 people to assist me while trying to purchase new frames, these were my 3rd pair. I refer everyone I know to warby parker. But I was completely ignored while I was shopping, I wasnt even greeted. I wasnt able to see at all and I really needed help, and no one seemed to care. All the staff members were talking to each other and joking around. Completely unaware of my presence, and the store was empty today. Anytime someone was helping me they disappeared, and went back to socializing with their friends. I felt horrible shopping here, like I was bothering them. But any white customers that came in were chatted with and helped and I just felt like my purchase didnt matter. I wont be going back, and Im very disappointed in their customer service. They need to be more aware of how they treat customers.

The staff is not helpful, they seem tired of talking to people. The two girls at the Eye Exam counter were acting very condescendingly; I walked out empty handed, with no appointment, and pretty much never wanting to return.

Super terrible experienc.... I waited for more than three weeks and called the store and they told me I havent sent the prescription. When I called the eye doctor, they told me that they have faxed the store twice there might be problem with their fax. When I asked Warby again they were so impatient and not cared about the situation. If they didnt receive the fax they should at least send another email to let me know this issue and I could have dealt with it faster..... just cancelled the order. Anyway, the frames are just from China, which has no difference than those you see on the street but cost much much more..... Anyway, wasted so much time

And finding glasses for such is well, a struggle.Warby Parker played as nicely as they could with my glasses. My friend and I went out on the town, doing a whole makeover thing, and last on the list was glasses. What better place to find them in the trendyist place in NYC? Yeah SoHo.The store is as sharp as an Apple store. In fact everyone is carrying iPads for POS.The sales people were not only nice, which should be a standard at all stores, not just something that makes it a good store, but they were honest. One of the assistants straight up said, Yeah. Those dont look good on you. She was flat and honest, which was appreciated. But not all of the assistants are like that. The one we ended up working with gave his two cents and then some.At the end of the day, I bought a pair.At the end of the week, I got the pair in the mail.At the end of the month, my friends and family got used to the look, and said it fit me better. (I do look good in these puppies.)

While most of the staff is very friendly and attentative, they are not knowlegable of the terms and services that they are selling. I tried to do a lens replacement, from my basic optical lens ( which were warby parker frames) to a prescription sunglass lens. I went on the main website to confirm that Warby Parker did indeed allow a consumer to switch out their lens for $125. After talking to most of the staff, the final verdict was that I could not switch my lenses. Only after hunting down the manager of the store could I pay for a service that Warby Parker sells. I thought that I was done with the Warby Parker professionalism, but upon receiving my order confirmation email I realized that thes staff messed up my order.I have purchased mulitple glasses from Warby Parker since the company first came out. They were my go to optical store for their reasonable prices and great costumer service. Unfortunately I will have to turn the page on Warby and begin searching for another optical store.

Ive always heard great things about Warby Parker and I still think they are probably okay but this retail store was a total fail! We went in to get my frames adjusted and it was absolutely terrible customer service.We went in and were guided to some lady that checked us in and told us to sit down and wait for someone to call our name. We waited about 30 mins (it was definetly 30 mins, since we had a dinner reservation that I called while we waited to extend out), and then we realized that our name wasnt on the monitor. I walked to the lady that checked us in and said my name wasnt showing up and she said that was normal since those names are only for people that needed prescriptions. So we waited another 15 minutes where we finally realized that people who came after us were all getting called before us.So finally we get a hold of someone else and she said that were not on the system and explained to us that happens sometimes if two employees are in the reserve system together. She walked over to the optometrist and told him to put us at the top of the queue and he said no problem.What does he do? Take another three people after she informed him while we still waited. Finally about 10 minutes later (total time about hour and fifteen minutes) we left in frustration.
