I had an excellent experience with LensCrafters. They were very thorough with my exam. They were also extremely helpful in choosing my frames… They were patient while I try it on almost every single pair in the store all of course which had to be cleaned… It’s a really great place to go for a good eye exam an excellent selection of glasses. The staff are very helpful professional and pleasant!

The team at this location got me in for a last minute, same day appointment and were so helpful and friendly every step of the way! I was also offered anti-fog spray for my glasses when an employee noticed I was struggling to manage with my mask. Can’t say enough good things about my experience!

I was in New York to watch my partner run the marathon but realized I forgot my contatcs. This LensCrafters worked with my home optometrist and me to get me sample lenses so that I’m able to see and pick my boyfriend out of the crowd of runners. They really saved my trip!

I walked into the LensCrafters on a Sunday, right when it opened at at 11:00 AM, and they were able to find me a pair of frames for my existing bifocal lenses. Vanessa checked me in, Dr Sherpa gave the exam and some eye drops to take home, Deanna picked out the perfect glasses for my face and insurance coverage, and then Emane made sure I had everything priced out correctly. I could not stop telling the staff just how obsessed I am with them, their patience, professionalism and kindness that it only felt fair to write a review. Everyone was wonderful, from Shannon helping me put on contacts for the first time ever, to Connor assisting with the checkout process, Dr. Lee making me feel comfortable and Emane andShameeka with testing and help at the front desk. Can not express how grateful I am for all their help and how glad I am I decided to try a lens crafters. Sorry to my childhood doctor, but this place has fancy new technology!

I had the pleasure of being examined and taken care by the wonderful staff at this location. They are professional and practice with state of the art technology. I saw Dr. Yumiko Sawai who gave me a thorough exam. Also for my glasses their was no upselling I was allowed to choose the frames that I wanted all by myself. I purchased two pairs at a good price. I will visit this place yearly for my eye exams

Came here to get a new pair of glasses. Took 10 business days exactly to get them in but once I got them it went downhill quickly. I could not see out of them and when I brought them back the end result was that Dr. Lee wrote the script too strong for glasses. Ashely was the manager on duty and before I went back to see the doctor on site that day, her and her associate recommended I keep them and get used to the script. The issue was when I wore them I not only felt cross eyed but my eyes were severely strained. This was communicated before they recommended I get used to them.Went to the exam room with Dr De Silva this time and I explained everything, she diagnosed the script being too strong. I asked why the script matched my contacts exactly (it usually doesnt) and I was then given a fairly condescending answer that looped back to it being my fault with my astigmatism that I couldnt see out of the script they wrote.Wrapped up and at the counter was when I asked for expedited shipping and told ashely the script is wrong to which she told me that it was my interpretation that the script was wrong. I asked about expedited shipping, they told me they cant do that. I asked about a discount and they said because it was under RX it was a no. The only option is to return the glasses in full and start this process over at another place. I asked for manager contact information but she was out pending COVID results and had no direct email. I asked for a GM or DM and the answer was to call lenscrafters customer service.The rep and the people I came into contact with there were nice but no sense of customer service or customer retention. Once I asked for their names everything turned quickly to we dont plan to help you attitude.

I have purchased from LensCrafters other Greter New York stores for many years. I have the worst experience ever in the Fidi store. We ordered a pair of glasses for my kid about three weeks ago. When we ordered, they told us the guaranteed date to pick it up is Aug 10 and we actually should recieve it anytime sooner that. Then they sent my receipt to a wrong email address. I called them up a week later and been told the same thing, guaranteed date is Aug 10 and I should get it before Aug 10. I called them on Aug 9 and they said the guaranteed date is Aug 14 and I should get it before Aug 14. I asked them why it takes so long. The associate blamed UPS. I wanted to cancel my order, the associate said I could not. I called them again on Aug 10. Another asociate told me the dealy was due to the new frame delivery and helped to change the order without the new frame because the lens should be ready. She also said if I want to cancel I have to go to the store. We do not have to time to go to the store to cancel. So I asked her to change the order. She said she will personally follow up my orde everry single day and give me a call this Wednesday for updates. I have not got any call on Wednesday, so I called them up again. Guess what? The gauranteed date now is Aug 18! My kid is 7 year old and his vision gets worse without the right lens. This time they let me cancel my order over the phone! If they could cancel order and refund over the phone why at the first time they said I could not cancel my order, second time they said I have to go to store to cancel my order? They wasted us three weeks to get a pair of glasses . I can not wait for a month to get a damn pair of glasses for my baby who needs it immediately. When you are the client, they said everything pretty. They delayed the pick up time for two times without notification. Every time I called, they just said you should get it before the guaranteed date. Why lie if you can not guarantee anything? It is very hard to gain trust from clients. But it is so easy to loose a client with over 10 years purchase history._____________________________________________________________________Just an update, after two / three months, I still could not get my refund (1) on my insurance benefit (2) on my credit card. The store associates were either intened to lie on the return / refund policy or they did not receive the correct training on this. MSG to STORE OWNER, PLEASE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM ASAP!!!!!!

. I went here because the eye doctor is great. But in the store I had a terrible experience. The “licensed optician” adjusted my current glasses that I bought at this location last time because I had asked her to and she ended up breaking them in the process because she didn’t know what hell she was doing. Then said, “oh you can purchase new ones in store we have them”. I told her I wouldn’t purchase anything and that they should be replacing them for free and she said “well I did tell you they were weak. I told you.”The store manager came over, after about 5 minutes of them talking about the opticians screw up, and said she’d put through a warranty claim but that they wouldn’t replace them because I was warned ahead of time that that could happen and I do it at my own risk. I told the manager that I was never given that verbal disclaimer and she just stared and smiled and said her employee claims otherwise, so it’s my word against the employees. Which I said to her, and she said “yes unfortunately so we can only do a warranty since we believe you were warned based on what the optician said”. I came here specifically because I had purchased the glasses here. I thought that if an optician says “the glasses are weak” she would know when to stop. Instead She kept going and broke them and now I no longer have glasses that I need every single day.The store manager said the warranty would work fine, that they’re usually fast and can get me parts within roughly a week. The insurance company just wrote me today saying my issue isn’t covered under their two year warranty. How is that possible? They were damaged by an employee, yet now I have to buy a new pair on my dime. Crooks all around and I won’t go here again.

This review is for eye exam services, not for the glasses selection. I went to LensCrafters for a regular eye exam and had a pretty good experience. It was easy to make an appointment and I was even able to get one for the next day. All of the employees and the doctor were nice, accommodating, and answered all my questions patiently. Their equipment is very contemporary. The whole experience took under an hour. I am very happy with this place and will definitely come back for my next routine.

This is an Optique store so the selection is not as vast as others. However, the customer service was fabulous. I needed a new pair as soon as possible as I lost my previous pair. When all was said and done I was told my glasses would be ready in 1 - 2 weeks. I asked if I went to a full service store could I get them same day and I was told yes. The person that took care of my order had a chat with her manager and came back and told me...you can get them the day after tomorrow... AND she was nice, understanding and pleasant. Thank you so much. 4 stars for the store on the limited selection and 5 stars for the customer service.

Really great staff! Especially store manager Thelma. I ordered extremely expensive glasses and when I got them, they clearly were not going to work for me due to my prescription and the specific frames not meshing well together. I came in to exchange them and Thelma remembered me instantly, greeting me excitedly by name! She, along with her great staff, then helped me figure out which lenses would work better and exchanged them for me at no cost. Thats great customer service.

A disaster. The days of glasses in about an hour are long gone I guess. Was told they would be about a week but it took over 4 weeks. We were tracking the order online, and saw it had arrived in the store. We went in to pick them up and were told they werent ready yet and they would call us when they were.3 days later we hadnt heard so we called and were told that we had already picked them up.We informed them that we hadnt any they said our nanny was on security video picking them up. We dont have a nanny. They couldnt help us until their security team had reviewed the video. Needless to say it was a very long time before things were made right

Thelma the store manager is incompetent of providing great customer service. My glasses were not right after paying almost $700 for them and Thelma told me she couldn’t help me.
