I called them and asked if I can come in today for an appointment. She was rude about telling me I needed an appointment. I was just asking . And when I was about to schedule with her, she straight up hung up on me . Very unprofessional and I’m upset with that customer service

For my first time being at this particular eyeglass company I felt very welcomed. The staff is pleasant and professional. The eye doctor to whom I saw that Saturday (8/15) was very through with my exam. So far so good. No complaints.

Been going there for years. they have such a nice array of frames to choose from very reasonable and jose and Judith go out of there way to treat you like family if i could give 10 stars i would. would highly recommend this place to anyone.

This place is horrible. They check your insurance card and DO NOT tell you what services you are eligible for. They just add on any amount of $$ they want at the end of your service. They charge your insurance AND can say your insurance doesnt cover such services. They tell you YOU CALL YOUR INSURANCE. But thats because they know you will not be able to get through an insurance representative in person right away. By LAW they are SUPPOSE to tell you EXACTLY what services you are eligible for once THEY check your insurance. By NOT telling you on the spot what services you are granted by your insurance provider they are able to DOUBLE DIP. THIS IS INSURANCE FRAUD* AND IT IS A CRIME*. Not only are they robbing YOU by charging YOU for anything extra they say youre not covered by, THEY ARE STEALING MONEY FROM THE STATE THAT GRANTS THESE MONEYS TO INSURANCE COMPANIES FOR SERVICES YOU HAVE QUALIFIED AND ARE COVERED FOR. REPORT THEM! SPECS FOR LESS HAVE BEEN DOUBLE DIPPING* FOR YEARS AND ITS TIME THEY ARE SHUT DOWN!

Did not clean well their station to examine the eye. The doctor seemed like she was tired of “cleaning” and washing her hands. I don’t even think she used soap, just washed fingertips. She was also rude. Staff did not disinfect glasses before or after giving them to me to try on. Someone walked in without a mask and they didn’t even enforce the rules of wearing a mask. Felt very uncomfortable in the place. After getting home I receive a phone call stating that they didnt have the glasses that I chose and that I should go back to pick other ones. Didn’t even bother going back to try anything they weren’t going to clean. Totally didn’t care about their customers. I decided to go to another shop to pick out glasses at Metro Optics and received great customer service. Only allowed 6 people at the time and also cleaned everything with disinfectant after each use and all the stations. They even had a cup that says unused pens and used pens. Should’ve went there in the first place. If you’re running away from COVID don’t visit Spec for less.

Always get my glasses from here. Accepts most insurance and has a very friendly staff! The guy with glasses always helps me out.

Do not go for DMV Eye test. they do not know how to send your test results to DMV. they tried to help me but lost 25 bucks because they do not know how the system works. They need to register to dmv website so they can have access to system to put test results in. I already called another pharmacy. they said that they send the test results right away. Doctor Kenneth seems to be nice person but he did not care. he was keep saying that we do not do that. Instead, I would expect him to say that we will try to register which is free by the way. they do not have to pay anything. they just open an account with dmv and put tests results in. terrible experience. I can not imagine that I buy a pair of glasses and had a problem. they would probably say that we can not do anything. after you pay for the service, they seem that they do not care. you find your way.

I walked into this location and waited patiently at the counter to be acknowledge. A gentlemen behind the counter looks at me a proceeds to help another customer which is not an issues. He then looks up and sees that I’m still waiting and tells one of his co-workers that I need help. She looks at me turns away and puts a finger up at me to tell me to wait. There wasn’t anyone who verbally acknowledged me after being there for over 5minutes. Both individuals looked directly at me and said nothing to me and so I left.I will not spend my money here. This was such an unprofessional experience and the customer service was nonexistent. I’m a very patient person but I will not return here.

One staff is not friendly or helpful. There is only one lady I work with an she nice.Two frames on the glasses are expensive and so are the lenses. Overpriced!I like my eyesglasses been going for a while. They are clear. I brought several prs. But I cant afford new lensesSo what I do with all those frames?

More skillful customer service, much more patient to help you find your need, and treated with respect. Glasses work its up to your description. I was happy with mine. My experience in ten years is good.

I have been going to Specs for Less for over ten years now. The staff are lovely, friendly, they make me feel welcome. I get all my glasses and contacts there and am very satisfied.

Specs for Less is the spot to go to for glasses, eye exam and good service. Ive been going to them for over 10 yrs. Jose (Salesperson) was great and thorough, he came thru for me on a pair of Gucci frames I wanted. I reccomend them to anyone that wants good service and any eyewear your looking for. Go check them out you wont regret it...

The lady in the blue is super rude. I went in, tried on a pair of glasses and she said they looked ugly on me in her own words she said “hell no” when no one asked her. SUPER RUDE! Then she asked me what kind of style I was going for I told her and then she rolled her eyes at me, why ask if you’re going to have an attitude? She should be fired because she’s rude! PERIODT.

Go here if you want to be overcharged. $300 + for a contact prescription, all the while I researched and found nearby, more reputable stores charging $100. I have gotten glasses here and found out I had been over charged for my frames as well.

This place is HORRIBLE. No organizations... all the personnel are lost..I had called themon several occasions for the same prescription for my children, 12 & 9 year old. It was given to me. However, I required more information such as the PD, Which is the distance from the iris of the eye I guess to the frames. I was left on hold for 45 minutes, off and on, they were giving me the runaround. In the end, after speaking to 3 separate individuals (the manager got on the line and told me both my children’s PD was “53”?) and the 45 min hold to be told to call back tomorrow because they couldn’t find the information. Mind you, about 20 minutes prior to the unsuccessful call I was at the store obtaining the prescription. I wasUnaware I needed the PD until I got to my destiination. I feel like if it took you rhat long and you couldn’t find it you weren’t in possession of it.

Why are they nickel and dime-ing me for a broken eye glass nose pad.. My left one broke off. She didnt even offer to help.. Just tell me $5 dollars to fix.. Come on.. Its a nose pad.. They were short with me and more kind to other patrons that were Latin decent. Why they pushed me aside and dismissed me is disheartening.. I dont like places that show preferred treatment to Latin patrons and not there other patrons. I will never step a foot back in that store.. Ever..

There frame selection is pretty average but help is not that bad. They accept all types of payments and insurances. Making frames through them can take a while. Its like this shop got stuck in time. The other shops around the area arent any better. Would definitely come back only because there close to where I live and there cheap. Walk-in are also possible given the time of day.

Incredibly overpriced and suspicious sales methods. They tried to charge me $300 more for frames than the actual cost, which happens to be what my insurance will cover for frames. The saleswoman couldnt even look at me while she told me the prices. Coincidence or scam to get my insurance payout plus more out of pocket costs?

Im giving it a star because they really DONT DESERVE ANY. To begin with, both the 1st time I go and the 2nd, THEY ARE NOT ORGANIZED; therefore, YOU DONT KNOW WHERE THE LINE IS to serve customers. When I entered, one of the employees was complaining to another employee, because they DIDNT WANT TO ANSWER PHONE CALLS. The next thing was, that the same employee was complaining, because he said: As people gave them to come at closing time. However, I had to ask him for the prescription for the glasses returned, because to top it off, the frames they have for the Health First plan ARE HORRIBLE (according to the ones they showed me).

I really like the place it is big and with a good atmosphere all the staff are friendly especially Ana took great care of my daughter and me!
