This place saved my day! My lens fell off the frame and was desperate to find a place to fix it. The friendly staff carefully examined my glasses and quickly helped to repair it. She also reminded me of good habits of maintaining the glasses. Overall I am very satisfied and thankful. I would recommend anyone who need a new pair of glasses to come here. The staffs are very professional and helpful and I am sure they are able to fulfill your needs.

First time having an eye exam at LensCrafters. They had all these fancy machines and the specialist took less than 10 min to go through them all. Then waited less than 5 min for the doctor to get me. Ran tests and explained thoroughly about my eyes and prescription. Quick and efficient.The eyeglasses specialist was the same.Highly recommended for people who need a quick visit during their lunch break.

We recently went to get my daughters glasses adjusted and Inna was absolutely awesome. Although we did not purchase her glasses there we were welcomed with open arms and given a great experience. I neglected to pack my contact lenses for our trip to NYC. I called Lens Crafters and spoke with a wonderful employee who set aside some samples for me and helped me contact my eye care provider. The staff was so polite and helpful. Store was impeccably clean. And they did not charge me for the samples!!!! Just an amazing experience and I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for contacts or glasses.

Outstanding service. I was helped by Alicia, will was curteous, professional and efficient with s great attitude. Her co-worker was keeping another customer with her order pickup and I was impressed with her customer service skills as well.I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they offer repairs free of charge, and will definitely be back when its time to get my new pair of glasses.

At the last minute I rushed here to have some sunglasses fixed and Dale was so willing to assist me. In under 15 minutes, crisis averted! Everyone was so polite and welcoming, despite how visibly busy the store was. Thank you for understanding and your fantastic customer service!

She asked me to sit down for the measurements as I am quite a bit taller, which I greatly appreciated, as I’ve had the awkward interaction of LensCrafters employees trying to take measurements while standing in the past. Alicia was simply amazing. I am visiting doctors from out-of-state and my glasses slipped out of my bag in a Lyft. Simply call them right? Well, it glitched and he couldn’t technically pick me up. No record. I am stuck in NY for several days and forgot to bring a backup. My healthcare advocate was able to call while I was in appointments and they were ready when I got there. She picked out a super cute pair that actually fit me. They are amazing. I literally cried when she put them on me. Such a relief!

From the moment I walked in I was greeted and helped by Dale. SHE WAS AMAZING! I have never had someone go through the store and actually pick out frames that she thought would work for me. The manager on duty Dereck was very thorough in explaining how my glasses would be fit to my face, and was very detailed when explaining the coverage my insurance offered. The additional customizations offered for the lenses were great, and I was able to see lenses in store that helped me make my decision. I would highly recommend visiting this location and will be returning to purchase more glasses in the future.

I came here mainly for an eye exam. I usually visit Starbase Optometry, which is located at the 49th and 3rd LensCrafters, but they moved here temporarily because theyre renovating.There are extensive safety measures. The waiting area had maybe two chairs, with plenty of space between them. They handle reservations effectively, so there arent too many people there at any one time. They took my temperature using a thermometer gun. Staff wore masks. They asked me to wash my hands. They seemed to sanitize the imaging machines between customers (head bands, chin rests, etc.). Each pair of frames that a customer touches are placed in a separate tray, presumably to be sanitized later.Clean. Efficient customer service. A great choice if you dont mind higher prices.

I went to lenscrafters at Ave. Of the Americas and everyone was so nice and professional with me and my husband. The prices are too hight but I like some expensive brands. I just wish the discount was bigger. But my glasses are so elegant and amazing. So Im happy. They are great. Recommend this location to a 100%.

This location had Dale working there a few years ago, Im not sure if shes still there but I was always well taken care of with her. Glasses are very nice, now theres cheaper brands to choose from if you dont want to pay designer prices. overall, service is very good.

Alicia from LensCrafters on Avenue of Americas was amazing. She kept me up to date with what was going on with my frames. She was very helpful and was willing to go the extra mile with helping me find the right frames because the ones I originally order was discontinued.

Was enjoyable and I purchased what I wanted no urging purchases I didnt need.

The paperless transaction saved so much time and the Associate made recommendations that really fit me. I also observed her interaction with another customer; she was professional thoroughly explained the process to the client and set the tone therefore the client was more receptive to her recommendation. She knows her stuff and thats why Ive been a customer for the past 3 years.

Went to get my replacement protection plan lenses & not only was the staff rude in explaining why I couldnt keep my old pair but none of the three girls working there was wearing a mask & how my new glasses were handing to me was literally disgusting some lady just put her bare hands on the glasses & just like handed them to me, no sanitizer nothing I feel like I could of gotten coronavirus from them I feel very weary still about going there & am going to get tested soon because of this, thinking about sending this to their corporate office. super thumbs down lens crafters the one on Columbus circle central park is much better safer & nicer staff!!

In the beginning it was ok. Then the doctor prescribed me glasses that I actually didnt need (reading glasses, when I asked her only for a blue light blocking lenses). I waited for 2 weeks for wrong glasses, then I get a replacement in a few days. And what I noticed that in couple days some scratches appeared inside the lenses. (I need to mention that I paid extra for anti scratch lenses). they changed the lenses when I went back but the new ones have exact the same problem 2 days later. And they just refuse to accept that their lenses are actually low quality and didnt do a return. The only thing I was offered was a warranty for scratched glasses (I dont need to mention that its super duper useful now) extremely unhappy about the quality of the lenses and the help of the personel

Not too bad. The doctors office side butchered my name and were somewhere up in the clouds. My sales person on the Lens Crafters side she would get it fixed. She did and I had a nice experience choosing my frames but there is no consistency. I was looking forward to seeing the sales person whom I bonded with. I went in 3x in less than a week and only saw 1 familiar face (and she was not too nice....LOL). I dont think I will return. Got my glasses a day late...they are pretty good. Lets see what happens. Get some consistency and maybe things will turn around for you, LensCrafters, good luck!

It looks like LensCrafters is self destructive.They have a written statement on their receipt that if you are unhappy with your glasses within 30 days, we will do whatever.So I found that the frame that I bought at LensCrafters is sold on line cheaper by $230. The frame is Cartier and I also found that it was made in Japan, not France. I came back to the store manger who told me that Cartier is excluded from the return exchange policy. I told her that this exclusion is not mentioned on the receipt and that the other manager , Carols never excluded Cartier. She said that is why he is not with us anymore!!! But that’s why I keep coming back Ms. Manager !While I was purchasing my previous glasses, a person who looks like a homeless took a frame from the table, put it in his pocket and walked out. I told the salesperson but she didn’t move a finger.at that time they used to have frames on the floor, not behind glass door.On other occasion while I was shopping for my frame, I didn’t find what I like, so the salesperson told me : does it has to be LensCrafters? So I mentioned to her that I don’t like their major competitor and mentioned the name, she told me that she used to work their before she comes to LensCrafters.In few years your competitor will take your customers and you will be out of business.Good BY LensCrafters

I received excellent service from Candiace. She was very patient and knowedgeable and made the experience of selecting frames a lot of fun.

The service at this place is horrible. The woman I assume is the physician assistant waved to me to come over and proceeded to push me to do retinal imaging. Since retinal imaging isnt covered by my insurance, I asked her what does it do. She used confused language, that, it, and never once mentioned what diseases that it is testing. At this point I called a family member who is a physician to get a second opinion. Once I chatted with my relative, I said why dont you explain to my relative / physician why I need this procedure, she proceed to tell me, You are doing too much. You are being very rude. Please sit over there, sit down! In retrospect, she didnt know how to explain and so intimidated the patient and refused to explain. There had be a law that protects patients and forbides health providers from pushing procedures onto patients and then intimidating them. My relative physician on the phone heard this exchange and suggested I go elsewhere.I suggest that you do the same. This Physician Assistants lack of professionalism and care for patient is concerning. I do not feel safe in her hands.

After eating my homework, my dog decided to try my glasses. When I found them, the frame was severely damaged and bent in every direction. The professional team at Lenscrafters saw my misery and first tried everything to repair my glasses, but in the end I decided to simply buy a new frame (luckily, I bought the protection plan, so it was only 25$). Took me 20 minutes and I got perfect new glasses.I experienced very good service and friendliness - would recommend.

DO NOT go to this store. My father has been a client at this shop for over 8 years and they lost his favourite pair of sunglasses worth $200. I was kept waiting for over one hour and they did not give me a new pair or offered me money so he could get a new one. The ladies that work there treated me really bad and were not helpful or friendly at all. Now I am trying to have the situation solved after this awful event.

I walked in with a pair of glasses I just bought from another Lenscrafters in NJ and told them of the adjustment problem Im having right now. I was greeted promptly and given assistance within 2 minutes of my arrival. The adjustment was made very quickly and accurately, which resolved the discomfort I was experiencing. Great experience and would happily recommend them to others.

The staff is extremely helpful. The doctors are nice, patient and explain everything to you without a problem. Their hours are flexible and they give you an appointment that best suits you. Love this place, my favorite Lenscrafters. Id recommend this place

Terrible customer service. I spent 400 dollars on lenses and glasses that I was promised I’d get by Monday. I call on Monday and they put me on hold for 18 minutes to tell me they may get there the next day or the following. I call the next day and they tell me they’ll get back to me regarding the status of my glasses. They never did. I call again and they tell me they’re busy with another customer they’ll get back to me. They never did. I still don’t have my glasses. I will never make a purchase from this LensCrafters ever again. Seems like they only care about making a sale and afterwards they don’t bother taking care of you.

I came right on time and was checking in. I had forgotten my wallet and asked them if it was OK if I go and get it and it would take me 5 to 10 minutes each way. They said they had a few customers ahead so it was no problem. I went to get it and came in 20 minutes later and they said the doctor was not going to see any more patients that werent check in. It was Saturday 2pm so she apparently wanted to leave early to enjoy her day. Terrible and on top were condenseding when I came back about how it had been more than a few minutes, which I never said.

Something is wrong with the management of this location (not the Drs office, just the sales location). When you go in you get almost-harrassed by the staff. Today it was 6 seperate individuals. I gave direct feedback to the 6th and she said it was because corporate were in. Indeed there was an angry looking man staring at me from the front desk. He is a senior employee of LensCrafters!! I felt so uncomfortable I left, otherwise I would have given him the direct feedback.PS - would very much welcome a comment from @lenscrafters.

Do NOT use this company I call Lens Crafters NYC to tell them I have a new prescription for my left eye since my operation. I have Four pairs of glasses ( two driving, two sunglasses) for which I paid over $550 dollars.They tell me today that their policy is not to honor a prescription for one lens replacement only. They would charge me $178 to replace both lenses in each pair. That comes out to more than I paid for the original. four pairs.I’d say a very sharp business practice - wouldn’t you agree? I am going somewhere else

Lenscrafters is covered by my insurnace but i remember why i stop coming. They always try to add on random exams and charge you extra. I said no to a bunch of times and now i realized i didnt get my free exam, they charged me for something else. Charged me for my contact len exam which was all i needed and then over charged me for the lens. I check online and the lens are much cheaper. Just go anymore else.

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I got a pair of Michael Kors prescription glasses for under $300, and they were ready in like 40 minutes. They are extremely fast and the staff there are all warm and eager to help, especially Daylle, shes great!

Appointment was at 2PM. I checked in at 2:02PM and I have been waiting for an hour. When I asked the reception how much longer it would be they said because I showed up late and its Saturday its taking longer. The reception ladies are friendly but theyre either understaffed with doctors or their doctor is moving very slow.Lensecrafter, please staff more doctors and or reduce their workload so the customer experience isnt so horrible. This is a huge waste of time.

They are expensive and unreliable. I got a wrong prescription from them. I took eye exam at this LensCrafters, which was very very expensive. I ordered my new glasses online with their prescriptions. However when getting the new glasses, I was very disappointed. The lenses do not work at all. I went back to the LensCrafters to see what was going on and it turns out that they made a mistake in my prescriptions. I was told they missed a minus sign in my prescription. They didnt do another eye exam but just discard the wrong prescription and gave me another new one. Then they asked if i have warranty for the lenses, which is kind of comforting, and I did have a warranty, but the wrong prescription still wasted me a lot of time. Now I have to wait another couple of weeks to get new lenses. I hope there will be no more annoying problems. There were no apologies, no compensation. Disappointed.

Optometrist is rude and expected me to rearrange my life for her convenience. They just lost a customer.
