I have been going to Dr. Patel for years. He is just wonderful and so knowledgeable. His team is also very nice and professional. Special shout out to Jeremy for always assisting me with frame selections & for his amazing customer service. (Also, he stocks some fabulous frames! It was so hard to decide!)

I just got back from my appointment from Eye Associates. They are very efficient and everyone is very friendly and helpful. They broke down all of the charges for my appointment and explained very clearly which insurance would be charged for what. The office is really clean and bright and they wiped down all of the equipment before use. Overall great experience!

Went in for a simple eye exam almost a year ago, my insurance covered it along with my co-pay. This company sent me to collections for $75 dollars with out ever even knowing I had a bill. No phone call no nothing, just showed up on my credit report. Be careful.

Wonderful experience here. Dr. Patel is fantastic, knowledgeable and great with my rigid gas permeable contact lenses. Also fitted me for the best pair of glasses I’ve had in years. Awesome staff here as well who go above and beyond.

I had a completely different experience than most reviewers here. The appointment it self went well with Dr.Patel. I ordered contacts through them. They did not communicate with me at all for the next 3 weeks for any updates regarding my order. I ended up contacting them and the gentleman who I spoke with over the phone kept *blaming* my insurance company for the back order and lack of communication.I undersrand there’s a back order but given that they are the middle man coordinating this for me , they should have been better at updating me about this the day I had placed the order or atleast followed up themselves rather than me having to contact them multiple times to get any kind of update. If I had known my contacts were on back order I would have bought new glasses instead or bought contacts out of pocket through somewhere else. Finally my contacts arrived and I went to pick them up. All the boxes had Right and Left mixed up. I’m glad I double checked my prescription but come on how did they not double check the prescription before putting the labels on?!? I will not be going back to this place again.

Went for a routine eye checkup. The staff was extremely friendly and took all the precautions necessary. Dr. Zikos was very knowledgeable and explained all the tests that were being done. Definitely recommended and would visit again.

I went there about a year ago for my annual exam and I couldnt be happier to have found that place. The staff and doctor Rocco was amazing, very professional and answered all of my questions. The practice was clean and I didnt have to wait for my first two appointments. The third one, I waited for a little bit.

The staff here is a reflection of the great service they provide. The office is new and clean. Dr. Patel, is by far the best Optometrist Ive been to in all of my adult life. Last note, the designer frames they offer are also excellent! Ranging in price and style, they got it all.

I do not wear glasses, nor generally have eye issues. So this was a very new experience for me. I felt unsure about if I was contacting the correct office, if my insurance would go through etc. The office was super helpful - as in, they couldnt identify my insurance at first (medical vs vision) and instead of waiting for me to get there to tell me I may or may not be covered, they reached out to me to help identify if I would be covered.Dr. Patel was wonderful - he explained everything he was doing to reassure me, and had a kind demeanor.Overall, the entire office was helpful, very nice and professional.

Everyone from the reception staff to the technical team to the doctor himself were all lovely! Its rare to find such a welcoming environment these days in the healthcare profession. Dr. Patel was excellent and really took the time to answer all of my questions. Hands down the best eye doctor Ive been to!Also, some eye doctors office have staff that jump on you like a hawk and pressure you to purchase eyeglasses right then and there. This wasnt the case. The staff was happy to help answer questions but did not apply those annoying sales pressure tactics. This was a nice change of pace to see as well.

Doctor Robilotto was absolutely perfect. Very thorough in his explanation, very friendly, I felt comfortable. The front desk is much worse. She put a wrong birth date into the system so my prescription was wrong. She was doing a million different things while taking my documents - I should’ve predicted she wasn’t too detail-oriented. I was waiting for my DMV document as well, and had to ask multiple times for it - when I received a document with updated birth date, it didn’t have the exam date.

I had an eye irritation from wearing contacts for too many hours each day. I was able to get an appointment same day. The exam was very thorough and everyone was professional and pleasant. I’ll probably go back to get new glasses soon.

My review below is on the payment practice and less so on the service. The doctor who performed my eye exam was polite and professional. The wait time was about 20 minutes, which isnt all that bad relative to other eye doctors. On to my experience with the actual payment of services below.My regular eye doctor wasnt available December of last year so I went to Eye Associates, which had availability, for my annual routine eye exam. I gave them my insurance info, and they told me over the phone, and again in person, that my exam would be covered by insurance. Seems reasonable. Ive been to various eye doctors for more than ten years and never once had to pay out of pocket with my insurance plan with the exception of a small $10-20 copay. I had my exam, paid the copay, and then three months later, comes the shocker.I received an invoice showing that $300 was invoiced for the eye exam, of which only $191 was covered by insurance, leaving $109 unpaid. First off, eye exams are generally no more than $100, so I asked for an explanation for the service that was provided that was so unusual that this would not be covered by my insurance company. Second, I was told that the exam would be covered. The following is the response I got from Eye Associates:Hi Jack. Everything was covered by both of your insurances with UMR and VSP. UMR is your medical insurance so it was used to cover medical testing however UMR applied your testing to your patient responsibility. This amount is not known beforehand and is not due at the exam time. Only copays are due in office. We bill to medical insurances, and then they come back with the adjustments of what they covered in addition to what they apply to the patient. For more information regarding your deductible responsibility, you would have to contact UMR directly.I ended up just paying the invoice just to be done with it. The service was fine, but certainly not worth $300, and to charge a patient without letting them know beforehand that its not fully covered (note that they explained that it was covered but that the insurance company came back with adjustments) seems irresponsible to me.
