I have no need, desire or want to go anywhere else for glasses! Dr. Pan was amazingly warm and took time to listen to my concerns and educate me about my condition. Carolyn patiently helped me pick out my new frames, and Ashley was wonderfully responsive when my lenses needed to be sent back and modified. I couldnt believe the all around care I received at EyeQ, which is quite a rarity these days!

I got my eye exam here, but they didnt measure my PD and wont give it to me unless I pay an extra $25 (for something that takes 20 seconds to measure). They would rather hold it hostage for the extra fee so they can sell up sell on their $200 glasses rather than having us go online and get the same pair for $50. This makes economic sense for them, but at the cost of poor customer service. Wont be going back for my next eye exam and wouldnt recommend this place for that reason. After paying $100 for an eye exam with insurance, I dont expect to pay additional for them to complete my prescription.

Took my 10yr daughter to get treated for AOK molds and this has been the best decision ever!!! We are 5 months in and she is fully without glasses, she can put in and remove the molds alone! If you are considering the AOK molds for you child I say go for it. You won’t regret it! Everyone is very friendly!

The staff and the doctor are amazing. The frames selection is modest, really expensive, hopefully because the quality is great, time will tell. Despite that, I was able to find 2 pairs that i really like.I was presented with all the options very patiently and without pressure.I know that I pay premium for the location and the service, but overall, you get what you paid for. Happy so far.I didnt get my glasses yet but i feel good about the entire experience.

The doctors and staff at Eye Q are great. They take my insurance, so I didn’t have to pay out of pocket. I have been buying (cute, cheap) internet glasses for the last couple of years and felt a bit overwhelmed by all of the fancy frame options Eye Q has. I found a pair of Caroline Abrams frames that I could not resist and am extremely pleased with my choice. And my glasses were ready THREE business days after my initial visit, which is just bonkers (over the Easter weekend, no less). I would definitely come back to this office for annual eye exams and my next pair of glasses.

I had an emergent issue and needed to be seen right away. Vanessa at the front was amazing: she was welcoming, able to get my insurance to give me an emergency referral, and was very warm. Dr. Phillips saw me right away and had very good bedside manner. She kept me at ease while figuring out what was going on with my eye. She was knowledgeable and personable and took good care of me. I will be returning here for all of my vision needs in the future. Thank you for great service!!

I brought my son to this place about 2 years ago and we had an ok experience, I was somewhat hesitant to go back. Going back was the best decision I made. The attention is so much better starting at the front desk, the assistants and the doctor. The doctor has been the best part of the experience, very professional, very knowledgeable, great personality. This combination made my son and I feel that my sons needs are in good hands.

Hello the service and almost all the staff is really good, except for one person, I thik she is name is Thalia. I have an insurence, I checked before to go to the optometrist to know what I have to pay, and the only thing that I need to pay was the frames, co-pay for examination and the extras like Anti-reflective if I wanted, and my receipt says trivex lenses ADD ON, when I ask to the girl for this she told me that is the price for the lenses, but I ask if it is optional and she respond like on the defensive, I only wanted to know the exactly charges, and she told me again is the price for the lenses and also when I arrive to ask for my glasses after 6 days she told me in a very bad mood, that is 7 to 10 days, but in my appointment she never told me that, that is why I went to ask if they were ready. She took that attitude since I asked about the charges, and that charge never answered me if it was optional or not, but what I read on the internet is that if the type of lens is optional, I wanted the simple one and just pay for the anti-reflective, but I didnt pay for anti-reflective because I already had to pay for Trivex lenses that I never asked for.I think I was never rude to her for her to take that attitude, I think if you work for customer service, the attitude is the most important and definitely this girl doesnt have it, at least not with me.The doctors service was very good and also that of the other girls.

I cant say enough about this place. The staff are knowledgeable about insurance, and offer very savvy opinions about eyeglass choices. They have a great selection of frames, but not too many, which I appreciated as I get overwhelmed when presented with too many choices. Years ago, an ophthalmologist made small holes in my eye with a laser to prevent glaucoma, but never really explained what he was doing. Not only did Dr. Crane at Eye Q take the time to locate and make sure those holes are still open, she took the time to explain the mechanics of how she was able to find them, which I really appreciated. The young man who took my order for eyeglasses is a fount of knowledge and not only guided me in making my choices, but explained all along the way what the choices were and the advantages and disadvantages of each. I will never go to any other optometrist. I am recommending them to all my friends.

I first consulted with Dr. Zlatin years ago, after hearing -- incorrectly -- that I could no longer wear contact lenses (complex prescription). Not true; Dr. Zlatin got the prescription right on the first try. Ive also noticed that eyeglass lenses ordered through Eye Q are of discernibly higher quality than those Ive bought elsewhere over the years. Dr. Zlatin himself is thorough, personable, and trustworthy. Office support staff are excellent -- especially Erica (always on the ball, and always cheerful).

I am so disappointed in my visit to Eye Q Optometrist that I undoubtedly had to write this review and I normally do not bother with these kind of things bc they are very time consuming. I honestly was really excited to visit Eye Q considering all of the really great reviews of the doctors. I had been greeted professionally from the very beginning of scheduling my appointment to the day of arriving for my appointment. Although I was a little late, I called in advance to let them know and as soon as I arrived the staff were pleasant and whisked me to the back to begin my eval. The staff are great! Nevertheless, my overall rating reflects the interaction that I had with the doctor who attempted to perform my evaluation, Dr. Li, for which I feel there is no excuse for her poor behavior. So let me explain:I found Eye Q from a bit of research I did about Cooper Visions BioFinity contact lenses. Eye Q is one of the merchants listed on Cooper Visions website who prescribes their products. During the eval, I explained to Dr. Li that I was interested in the daily wear contact lenses that Cooper Vision advertised as a 6 day and 7 night continuous wear lens. She proceeded to tell me in a condescending and demeaning tone that there is no such thing as a continuous wear lens that you can wear day and night w/o removal and that continuous wear lenses are only for people who are not mobile...there are safety issues....and she doesnt recommend them. I replied, thats curious bc I read about this particular lens on Cooper Visions website and the disclaimer that she mentioned was not provided in the reading material. She again began to explain in a dismissive way about the safety issues involved in wearing lenses beyond 24 hours. I exclaimed that I understood that this was her professional opinion and also explained that I was not trying to debate or argue, but as a customer I just wanted clarification so that I could make an informed choice and gently asked her not to belabor the discussion bc her tone was very offensive and really thought that we should move forward with the evaluation before I opted not to continue with her services because of her increasing offensive tone. Incredulously, she continued in a argumentative tone about how she wasnt going to prescribe lenses that she professionally didnt agree with and touted how I was free to leave. So I left.So once again, and as I mentioned, I was asking questions to merely better understand my options, not force her to prescribe a lens that she wasnt comfortable w/prescribing, but her arrogance wouldnt allow her to hear me. LISTENING IS REALLY FUNDAMENTAL.I would highly recommend customer service training for Dr. Li and at the very least a few lessons in bedside manner as she was quite off-putting, condescending and dismissive to say the very least. Her approach was not at all how a doctor should be treating a new self-paying (not insurance sponsored) patient who selected this practice out of the MILLIONS of choices in NYC!Such a disappointment.

Ive been with Dr. Zlatin since 2003. I use the special CRT/AOK lenses. I find him to be very thorough, and he will take the time to answer your questions. For instance, I recently retired, so Im a little more cautious with my money. I didnt automatically sign-up for the optional tests like I have in the past. Dr. Zlatin walked me over to each of the three machines, showed me the pictures that they produce, and he explained how the information was beneficial. Its something that I dont think most doctors would do.I find the current staff to be very attentive. Wait times used to be a bit long, but I havent had a problem in recent years. There used to be a guy who constantly tried to sell you stuff while you were waiting, but hes gone now.

Ive had SEVERAL bad experiences: Bought expensive frames and then they put the wrong prescription in, so had to wait extra time for the mistake to be corrected; they broke the stem off my sons first pair of glasses and said it must have been a defect so theyd have to re-order them (thus they werent ready in time for the start of the school year) and they incorrectly scheduled my appointment with a different doctor so I had to wait extra time to see the one I had requested. To make it all the more aggravating: I dont even live in the city - I actually commute to go to this place! The ONLY reason I have returned is because Dr. Zlatin was the first optometrist to give me glasses with a prescription that gave me the best vision possible with my difficult eye problems. (Im not a good candidate for Lasik.) That being said, his staff is ATROCIOUS. They are rude, condescending, make mistakes, get defensive when their mistakes are pointed out, and overall have the worst customer service skills I have ever experienced! Particularly the manager, Erika. My most recent debacle with them: I asked for a printout of my prescription because their starting price point for frames is expensive so I was going to get frames elsewhere. However, they gave me an incomplete prescription so when I went to pick them up of course the glasses were incorrect. When I went to Eye Q to sort it out they acted very put-out and snotty. Erika, then said in a contemptuous tone that she would be sure to email me the correct prescription by Monday. Did she? NO! I had to follow up on Tuesday by leaving a voicemail that if she didnt call me back I would have to take my complaint directly to the doctor. I have really had it! It baffles me why the manager and staff remain when Ive seen various complaints reported about them from many other customers.I will say that Dr. Crane was very kind and patient when my son had his first visit to get his first pair of glasses. Other than that theres been a dearth of positive feeling for the place. Not sure if Ill ever return. Caveat Emptor!
