Thank you Lilac chocolate guy! I wish I had caught your name but I came in with a large order of chocolate letters as a farewell party favor and you helped me out greatly. Even gave me an opportunity to make sure I didn’t miss anyone. If you were ever wondering what ever happened to that one customer, she threw a party that was a roaring success and every last person enjoyed the chocolate that you helped her select. Thank you from the bottom of my heart - Flustered Last Minute Shopper
Beautiful chocolates in Chelsea market. Gotta go if youre there!
The best chocolate malt balls EVER ! Very good chocolate … expensive yes
I love they have a lot types of chocolate.. Truffles are delicious so far!!! Ganache it’s perfect.. Grate flavors combinations.. I’ll try it again..
AMAZING chocolate! I loved the hazelnut squares and the creamy white chocolate! My in-laws loved the dark chocolate, and my son ate WAY too much of everything! Needless to say, hes a big fan too! Love supporting small business- especially when it tastes so yummy!! Cant wait to get more!!
I love this place!! Not only do they have the best chocolate around they do hot/cold drinking chocolate. If you have not tried that yet you are missing out. Check them out here and at the other locations around the city.
I was so excited by the beautiful presentation but the chocolate and truffles are horrible. It feels like 95 percent sugar and 5 percent cheap cacao! No nuances or flavor. Paid 42 dollar for chocolate which is maximum at Hershey’s level. Nothing French of Belgium in their compositions.
Have never been disappointed by the quality product. You will not find any chocolates like this in NYC.
5 stars strictly for the product. This is the only place that makes (carries) my absolute favorite...dark chocolate covered PLUMP California (tart) apricots. Everything from here is dee-lish!
The most unbelievable chocolate ever! So fresh and always consistent. Owner is very warm and friendly !
Lilac in the west village used to be great, theyd give you freebies, was always delicious. Since then, theyve opened like 5 more stores and the chocolate is grocery store level and way overpriced. There are many better options, Lilac is bad now, it sucks but its true.
Service wasn’t good, stood forever waiting to be helped while the cashier chatted up with a friend. Chocolate tastes like something from a grocery store but is sold expensive. Got a variety of truffles that were thrown Willy nilly in a bag and fell out of their wrappers. literally couldn’t tell the difference between the flavors either, no richness. The second star is just for the candy orange, it was decent.
They have the best Hot chocolate! But very pricey for a small little cup !
Bit pricey but very good chocolates, marzipan and sugar free almonds. Great for a gift.
Fantastic chocolate with outstanding customer service. My favorite chocolate recommendations would be pretzels, salted caramels, leche and hazelnut truffles.
Very disappointing. Dont get lured by the nice little shop. The chocolate is mediocre and they sell it for the price of gold. Its frustrating to eat poorly made chocolates when there are so many great chocolatiers in town.
Pricey but very good chocolates, marzipan and sugar free almonds. Great for a gift.
Quality chocolate that is handmade and good helpers
They dont give u a key about whats in each chocolate.
Not worth the price!
Great business with delicious products and good advice!
This place is extremely expensive for the quality of the chocolate (not the best)
The clerks attitude is the worst.
