Very good hot chocolate, likes the ones in Eataly. They are indeed piping hot! And start to transform slowly to chocolate as they cool down.Price is respectable. Location may be hard to find. Located below the rockefeller tower on the same level as the ice rink.Worth a detour for any hot chocolate lovers.Note you can buy your own chocolate powder!

I came here because I love Jacques on the Netflix show Nailed It!, and wanted to try his desserts. It did not disappoint! I got two chocolates that were both delicious, the European Peanut Butter (which has hazelnuts mixed into the housemade peanut butter!), and a tasty dark chocolate candy with caramel and hazelnut. Highly recommend!

Lovely little shop! I tried their classic hot chocolate, and it was the perfect choice for a cold, damp day. Creamy, and very chocolatey, but not overly sweet. I believe they use 70% dark chocolate in their recipe, which helps cut down on the sweetness and increase the richness. They serve it piping hot, so be careful, but I believe the hotter the better with this drink!I will definitely be back for more, and to try their other hot chocolate options.

I gave 3 stars because the taste is not consistent. I went there get hot chocolate 4 times so far. 2 out 4 were good quality. The other two were nasty. I dont want to go to a store a get surprised taste for a hot chocolate. I hope the stores can improve the consistency of the taste.

The chocolate was absolutely delicious. Out of this world and I would totally go back and get more. The only thing is that this is really hard to find if you do not know where to look. Your first time there can definitely be confusing. Follow the signs and you should wind up ok.

Chocolate is good, but THEY DONT RECYCLE! There are recycling bins but not used, and attendants get fierce when asked about it. Were not coming back, and not recommending this place, definitely.

Located in the concourse level of Rockefeller Plaza, you can find this cute little shop in the underbelly of this fascinating center/maze. Chocolates are $1.80/piece and a HUGE cookie is $3.00 each. These chocolates just melt in your mouth! They have at least 15 different options of chocolates and truffles, fillings, white chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate... anything your heart desires. There was one really cute white chocolate square with a lady bug LOVE BUG. The cookie was about 5 inches in diameter and the flat/crunchy style of cookie. Just the right amount of sweet meets savory in every bite. They ask you if you want your cookie heated and of course we said YES! I highly recommend if youre in the area.

Jacques Torres makes fantastic artisanal chocolates and holiday themed chocolates. Always a treat during the holidays. However, The best thing about this chocolate shop is the great staff. They make the chocolate experience a real treat. Enjoy sightseeing or take a break from work, the staff will make sure you enjoy your hot chocolate and have a smile on your face.

Its a Willy Wonka dream come true. There are so many choices of fresh handmade candies. Its hard to choose. This is the place to shop for the person who has everything. The staff is patient as it wraps the gifts. No samples! The glass walls just welcome you in to taste the luscious goodies and steamy creamy hot chocolate. They have the usual assortments, of truffles and bars covered with sweet cereals. Dont forget the ice cream with the delicate waffle cones.

There are a few great finds in the basement of Rockefeller Center. The tiny Jacques Torres Chocolate shop is one of them. Escape the heat and chill downstairs for a chocolate break. They decorate the shop quite nicely according to the seasons and holidays. Expect lots of chocolate bunnies during Easter time. There is a little bar where you can get hot chocolate. It’s the thick European style. I like to get a warm cookie. They’re divine with ribbons of chocolate rather than chips. Take home a box of chocolate or homemade marshmallows. You will not be sorry.

Cute little store in the rock. I bought some boxes of chocolates and the packaging is to die for. The Orange is their signature look. If you go in the winter try their hot chocolate and if you go in the summer they have delicious ice cream cookie sandwiches

Not the same as during chef Torres masterclass. I was lucky to visit this place during masterclass with chef Jaques Torres. It was amazing! I was so happy to try european style hot chocolate and the chef himself was very friendly. So I decided to go there once again. Unfortunately this time was totally different. The hot chocolate wasnt thick any more. It felt more like hot cocoa, but definitely not like a hot chocolate. That was very disappointing. I thought maybe its just one episode, but its not. Also visited another location at Grand Central Terminal and had the same experience.

This is a great sweets and candies spot you can find peppered throughout New York City. The fresh baked cookies are what keep me coming back. They also have amazing, albeit pricey, boxed chocolate sets or make your own combos. They also have a great selection of artisnal ice cream flavors. The Cinnamon Swirl is no joke! Im glad my friend Shoshi recommended we go here for dessert after a Dim Sum Brunch of legend.
