They had a couple of French wines i thoroughly enjoyed that would be difficult to find most places. Not a huge selection but all good choices. Which is much better than a huge choice of nothing that you want.

You cannot miss this shop! The selection is out-of-this-world. Best I have seen around and they arent trying to be pretentious. Just ask for Victoria, she has given us so many great suggestions. For beer and wine, you really arent going to find a better variety than here.

Its amazing how much awesome stuff is tucked into this little store. Supporting local breweries and distilleries isnt lip service here with a couple of big names, theyre really doing it. The wine selection isnt in the thousands, but its well thought out and there are inexpensive gems in just about every section. If you only stick to one brand all the time, this may not be your store. If you like discovering new things- it definitely is.

This place has wine, beer AND spirits! What it lacks in space, it makes up for in... well, it doesnt actually but youll be able to find something to get you drunk.

They had a decent selection, and one of the staff members was friendly. I am a little disappointed (hence only 2 stars) due to the fact that 3 other employees were quite rude to me.

This is an awesome place to find a huge selection of wines and spirits! Not only was I able to find Saki from Kyoto, I also had a huge selection of Mead to choose from. This is my new go-to place and anyone should check it out.

Used to go here when I lived in Northeast, so when Im in the area I always stop at Stinsons. Such a good and unique selection for a smaller liquor store. The staff has always been kind, and helpful when I have had questions.

This is one of the best small liquor stores in the metro. The beer selection is huge, with plenty of sours and specialties. They have tons of tastings, so follow them on FB for advance notice. Liquor selections seems to be small, but provides plenty of quality selection. I honestly havent perused the wine selection, as I have typically gone overboard on the beer, but intend to give it a once over on my next visit. Support this place. They support the smaller local breweries too.

Good prices, great staff. I was injured for several months making walking difficult. They would always go get my purchase for me saving precious and painful steps. Big 10 out of 10. Would return!

Went into the beer cooler and the owner verbally assaulted me and kicked me out of the store. Keep in mind, I was simply looking at beer. He said I cant be in the walk-in cooler. I said there was no sign. Then he flipped his lid and walked me out. What a douche...the owners name is Bob Anderson, avoid him if you choose to venture in. I used to spend hundreds here as it was my go-to liquor store. NEVER WILL COME BACK!!!

I live in the area and have been to Stinson Liquors several times. Each time I go in I have a bad experience with the man who has longer gray hair. I try to interact politely with this man only to be responded to with absolutely rude and listless answers. Recently was overcharged for my purchase, the rude gray haired man working the register did not give me a receipt. When I called for help sorting the matter they wouldnt tell me the prices they just told me they were marked appropriately despite repeatedly asking the original price. Since this is not the first time Ive had this interaction here my family, friends, and I will no longer be spending our money at this establishment. A lot of other great, friendly and helpful liquor stores in the area.

New arrivals are easy to find and the staff have usually given them a try, so they can let you know what youre getting before you buy.Prices are Stinson are very competitive with other stores around town. They may not be the biggest store in the Twin Cities but they often have prices lower than those far larger and even beat out the big box stores at times. Their everyday prices on the most popular beers, wines, and spirits are great and even when you find them a dollar more than the mass market liquor stores, the service you receive is more than worth the small difference.Stinson is a joy to shop at and a store recommend going out of your way to do business at. This is my favorite liquor store in Minnesota. Elevated is great, but this one just feels nicer. They offer more locally made spirits and Ive heard the wine selection is really good (not super versed on the grape drink) - not to mention one of (if not) the best craft beer selections in MN

This is one of the premier craft beer stores in MN. Their staff knows has a wealth of information and are remarkably helpful. They are always stocking fresh product and the store is well organized.

Clean place, nice look to the inside. Great selection of local and somewhat obscure craft beers. What I assume to be a manager went out of his way to show me a couple new arrivals. Then entered them into the system real quick in order to make them available for purchase. Will definitely be checking back in regularly.

Wouldnt mind a broader whisky selection but they certainly make due. I often stop here after work to grab my go to beers or browse for something new.

They have a very good local beer selection from breweries. But if you find something in the cooler they may ask you where you found it cause its for the staff. If you try and hide a 4 pack of popular beer, dont hide it in plain sight and try and make someone feel bad for wanting to buy it. Some beers are hard to get your hands on because they move fast, but at the end of the day they are just cans of beer. Very rude customer service when you get asked where did you find that?

This is a cozy little liquor store. Its smaller than the big chains, but the atmosphere is very welcoming and they have just about anything youd want to get.The staff is helpful in recommending new things for you to try based on what you know you like.They do free tastings twice a week 4-7 pm--beer on Tuesdays and wine on Fridays.

Finally! (I guess a while ago now) a liquor store even closer than Central Liquors. The prices are a smidge high but the staff is fantastic and the sheer variety for the size of the place is astounding. They carry a lot of local stuff as well as just about anything else you would want. Cool, small local place.

They have a solid selection of wine and spirits, but Im primarily a beer guy so thats why the rating slides to a three. They have an okay selection (especially if youre interested in Belgians) but theres nothing special about it and definitely overpriced.

These guys have created one of the best beer and wine shopping experiences in the Twin Cities. Every beer recommended to me based on my preferences has been excellent. Selection is comprehensive (except for liquor) and somebody will offer their assistance without fail. Prices are as you would find them in any major store.

Walked in the store and headed for my go-to cheap mixing rum, Ron Diaz. Instantly noticed it was $16.99 contrary to other stores where it usually goes for $11-$14. Not a big deal, but I was on a hunt for a bargain. Picked up the bottle next to it a Castillo which was marked $9.99. Now thats a deal! I thought to myself. But upon checkout it rang up as $19.99. So my impression of this store is (1) more expensive for the same booze I get elsewhere (2) mislabels products to get you to spend more. Great. Now Im stuck with a $20 bottle that tastes like gasoline. Thats enough for me to never visit here again.

There was a lady that had nice advice for wines, but what I really wanted (because I had a coupon) was a certain brand of champagne they didnt carry. Despite their fantastic display of all kinds I never heard of! But my 6 & 8 year olds had to come in -they were given the riot act before going in about behavior and touching anything- and my son had to walk around this lady to avoid his sister trying to start trouble.This lady -employee- stopped, raised up her arms, turned to look at him and waited for him to finish moving. I was already irritated at them, but now I was irritated at that lady. Really? A little over the top for a small person walking close by.Check out lady was fantastic, and funny. Worth coming back!

It has a good selection, good layout, decent atmosphere. The customer service was far below the expectations of such a nice place. I was lenient at first but the past few trips have been meh.

I just went in to grab a cheap bottle of wine since the store location was convenient. I said I didnt need any help finding anything, the staff member didnt really accept that answer. I asked if they had any cheaper wine.I have tried expensive wine and cant tell the difference. When I said this, the woman pretty much insulted me and so I left.Incredibly poor experience.
