Wow! Simply Wow! I wish they had one of these is my neighborhood. What a great vibe. The staff is friendly and vibrant, and extremely helpful. The coffee (I had a cappuccino) was perfect. The egg and cheese croissant was addicting from the first bite. They were amazing. The pastry (I had a cinnamon roll) took me back to my grandmother’s house as a child. It was sublime. Run, don’t walk, to The Coffee House.

Good stop for coffee and quick bite. Go after 9 in the morning if you dont want to wait that long in line. But for the most part the line moves quick. Friendly service. They have coffee drinks for most anyone, with a diverse menu along with teas and refresher. The cromlette seems to be the house favorite. It is a buttery croissant dough stuffed with scrambled eggs and other toppings, then the dough is topped with herbs and garlic.

Artwork is very cool, tasty cromlettes, good drink variety and I like their house dark cocoa Voltaire blend. I also like the high ceilings.

Perfect place for a stranger passing through town. Nice and cheap while keeping you wanting to spend more. I personally had some biscuits and gravy and loved every forkful. Even while short staffed they still got my order out without a long while wait. Ill be back

Great medium roast drip! My friend picked up a raspberry scone and I treated myself to a vegan gluten free chocolate chip cookie. Fair priced. Fair portions. Great taste.Will return for a breakfast burrito soon!

Cozy coffee shop in downtown Lincoln. Ive stopped in here a few times for a cappuccino and the service is always friendly and quick. Theres a surprising amount of seating inside thats all well spaced out. They have a variety of pastries (very good!), wraps, salads, and yogurt parfaits available and they also sell coffee accessories and supplies to brew your own at home. Ill keep stopping in whenever I make it downtown!

I ordered catering online, and thought all was good. I checked in with the store the day before and got some excuses about not having access to the website because the Owner and the Baker were out this week. I was understandably upset that there wasnt a return email saying the website wasnt working properly or anything on the website itself indicating that the order submission process was experiencing problems.The kicker was that the Baker called me to let me know she was on a much needed vacation, like that should excuse the fact that I almost didnt have the catering I needed. If you have a link on your website to submit a catering order, it should at least be monitored so that a customer isnt left hanging and empty handed. And in the end, she hung up on me, hows that for customer service?

Dont try and order from them from their website. They do not monitor online orders and will be rude to you when you call to verify it will be ready. An order we placed on Monday for Friday will not be filled because they are on vacation and no one bothered to tell us.

Painfully Average espresso. might be ok for a quick cup of drip coffee, but they’ll need some beans that aren’t over-roasted and some more training/attention to detail from their baristas before they can claim to make quality espresso drinks. Cool building though.

Very disappointed with the new management at this location. He has been consistently rude to myself, my wife, and my sister multiple times. I used to love coming to this place, and even donated during the pandemic to help keep them open, which makes this review disheartening write...

Yum! When you go get a breakfast cromlette and cream cheese croissant! You will not be disappointed! My go to is hazelnut chai latte but any drinks there are amazing as well!

The Coffee House is amazing. It is my favorite place to study. The baristas are really knowledgeable and helped me find my perfect coffee order. They have a wide range of goodies, including vegan options! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the perfect place to hang out for a while.

I haven’t been to The Coffee House in a while (about a year!) and decided to stop by on my way to work. My favorite drink from there is the Irish Mocha. It is the most delicious coffee concoction I have ever tasted and The Coffee House is the only coffee shop I have ever been to that has something like this. Therefore, I was very excited to revisit and order my favorite drink. To my disappointment the “Irish Mocha” that I ordered did not taste like the Irish Mocha that I have had several times before. It did not have whipped cream that came with it before, and the drink tasted like burnt black coffee that they poured milk on top and was heated up. It left an undesirable aftertaste and I just dump the drink down the drain. Either the barista was not attentive to my order and was half asleep, or they completely changed the recipe for the Irish Mocha. I don’t know if I will be coming here to avoid this happening again and to pay for it. (Pro tip: The drink menu inside do not have prices written right next to the drinks. So you don’t know how much the drinks cost unless you ask or just wait until they ring you up.)

Im really happy to have found this place— it has quickly turned into a cornerstone of my college experience. Easily my favorite coffee shop in Lincoln. The coffee is great, the atmosphere is awesome, and the staff are amazing. This is the place I go to get work done, and I know that years from now Ill be looking back on this place with fond memories.I do wish they were open later— I prefer The Coffee House to The Mill, but The Mill is among the only coffee shop I can find that is open late every day of the week. At the same time, if they were open past 3, I might end up practically living there.Keep up the great work guys, you are amazing!

The Coffee House is definitely my favorite coffee shop in Lincoln. All of the staff is very kind, and you can tell they love their job. The atmosphere is very welcoming and homey, even with all the extra safety measures they’ve had to put in place with COVID. Their drinks, pastries, and other treats are amazing. I actually had their tiramisu brought to work last week for my “birthday treat,” because theirs is the best.I recommend them to everyone, it truly is one of Lincoln’s best spots!

I have loved The Coffee House ever since I have been living in Lincoln! Today I had the Valentine’s Day special, the strawberry Voltaire latte. Tasted just like a chocolate covered strawberry - probably the best drink I have ever had from The Coffee House! Also, their orange poppyseed muffins are to die for 😍

It was okay. This place was on our way to the hub cafe, so picked up a coffee for the trip. Got a Voltaire breve and it was just ok.

Generally I think most people have something negative to say about anywhere they go. This is not the case with The Coffee House. Not a single bad experience and Ive been too many times to count. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, the prices are more than acceptable, the food is amazing. And the coffee is not only delicious and expertly brewed but the options are endless. The staff are friendly and more than willing to explain or answer questions. Ive never waited more than a few minutes even when the line was seemingly unmanageable. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Do not leave if its busy, it is worth it. The service here is better than most. The bill was reasonable I would say. Feels similar to a restaurant in Philadelphia that I enjoyed visiting.

Excellent local coffee shop. If youre in downtown Lincoln and searched the term coffee shop in Google Maps - this is the place youre looking for!Lots of quality espresso beverages and loose teas. Bagels, muffins, sweets, and when I went they had a very good vegan chocolate raspberry muffin. I hope that this is a regular on the menu. Try the Foggy London. Its a variation on Capt Picards favorite tea with steamed milk.

Haven’t tried anything but coffee from here but it was better than anything I can make so I enjoyed it! The seating area is bright and cozy and the location downtown is ideal.

The ambiance is cozy, and it is busy but not overly loud. I have never had trouble finding a seat. The staff is VERY helpful and friendly, and the coffee is great. The food is a little on the pricey side, but worth every penny (especially the stuffed croissants--savory or sweet!). Ask for a punch card if you are in the downtown area a lot, because you will definitely want to come back.

Friendly staff, great coffee/espresso drinks in a variety of tasty options. I love the toddy latte in the warm months and vanilla latte in the colder months. I usually pick up my drink in the morning on the way to work but the atmosphere at The Coffee House cozy for hanging out or quiet enough for having meetings.

One of the two best places to buy whole coffee beans in Lincoln. Love their $1/ounce pricing. Pleasant folks working whenever Im there. Nice vibe if you wanted to sit inside too. Worth checking out

CoHo, as we like to call it, is ALWAYS good. In normal times, they offer cozy seating and great vibes. In COVID times, they offer cozy (socially distanced) seating and great vibes too. They ALWAYS have great drinks - literally so many options and the baristas are always nice if you want to change things up a bit.All of their food is made in house and is seriously AMAZING. One of my favorites are their gingersnaps cookies. Im told its a secret family recipe, and let me tell you, they are made with love too. They are delicious.I also like to treat myself to their muffins, an occasional croissant sandwich, and sometimes their yogurt parfaits with their HOMEMADE granola. Seriously, you cannot go wrong.Today, my friend and I tried their Egg and Cheese Cromlettes. He had the Sausage, Gouda, and Egg one and I had the Spinach, Feta, and Egg one. Both were so good! There are 4 options total - 2 with meat and 2 vegetarian options. Give em a try.If youre wondering if you should give them your business - you really should. If you want to study then come here early. It does get a little crowded around afternoon. They have coffee and teas along with a couple of pastries.They have tons of tables where you can sit down, hang out, or study. Its a comfortable place to have coffee and study!

This is a great place to unwind, catch up with friends, or study. The entrance can be confusing to find but once inside the building is a visual explosion: local artist hang their art on the walls and organizations and theater put up signs advertising anything from a play to guitar lessons. The atmosphere is friendly and the noise level is usually at a good medium. The coffee is good and the prices affordable.

I go here 3-4 times a week. Specialty coffees are top notch, drip coffees are great and rotate often, and the food is excellent. Id recommend the stuffed croissants to everyone. My favorite coffee place downtown!

This place is my favorite coffee place in Lincoln. Its the real deal. They know all there is to know about making a great and AUTHENTIC coffee drink. Some people are taken back by the taste of the drinks....because they are legitimate, by the book coffee and espresso drinks. If youre ready to upgrade from the Scooters and Starbucks way of coffee life, put your big boy/girl pants on and go to this great place. Come enough, and theyll learn your name. This is the first time Ive ever been to that coffee shop and I must have got one of the owners who made my latte because he was very helpful and super friendly. I would recommend to this coffee shop because a lot of times the Baristas are snooty. That was definitely not the case here.

Downtown Lincoln would not be the same without this gem. Awesome pastries, soups, fresh fruits & veggies, housemade granola parfaits, and of course COFFEE made fresh daily. A eclectic retro vibe of antique and modern art, style, and music give this place a great energy to study, visit, or just hang. I havent tried everything here, but everthing i have had has been wonderful.

Apparently this is a favorite hang out for UNL students to study and drink coffee. A co-worker alumni said he spend quite a bit of time here his self. I can see why! Cool place. When my fiend heard my kid was going to UNL he picked up a gift card from here :)
