My son and I like to go here as a special treat once in awhile. I say that because we feel its kind of pricey for what you get. If you dont get there early, they are often out of a lot of baked goods. It seems too that we have a hard time finding a clean table to sit at. On the positive side, the food is good, and the atmosphere is pleasant and peaceful. My favorite are the almond croissants, IF they have any left...which is only maybe 50% of the time. As popular as those are, they should make more.

Wow! Just wow! The first time I have been there and so happy I did!! The Asiago bagel was on point and so delicious! Probably one of the best ones I have had in a while! The iced golden brew was amazing also! It has a taste of honey! The staff was nice and helpful!! And their cream cheeses look amazing, so many tasty varieties! I will for sure be back!!

Ive in there 5 days a week for two years and never had a bad coffee or sandwich. I was actually in there today before the red and white game. Was super busy, and one of their staff was still learning the menu, witnessed their cold brew keg blow, and a customer rudely snatch a bag out of a workers hand. Everyone working kept it moving, kept it kind, and kept their composure during what was obviously something they were not prepared for; as Ive been in during game days and there wasnt a soul in there.As a server and manager of a pretty heavy volume restaurant down the street, I thought yall did great with all the odds unexpectedly stacked against you.

Amazing food and staff! Always kind and willing to be flexible between curbside and in person. I recommend a Dark Mocha with toffee nut and oatmilk. Delicious.

Id just like to start by saying I love bagels and joe. I come here all the time. The reason for the one star is because of the abysmal customer service we just recieved. We walked in on Labor Day around 11:30am. It really wasnt too busy there were 3 people in front of us and 5 women behind the counter. We stood there for 15 minutes before we finally walked out. No one said a word to us the entire time we stood there waiting to order. 3 employees went to the restroom and one of them walked up to the uber orders 2 separate times to look in the bags before just walking away!!! So rude. We were really hurt and upset by how they completely ignored us, like even if your busy, it takes all but 3 seconds to say well be with you in a moment

I had heard fantastic raves about the orchard chicken salad. After I got home with my chicken salad on an Asiago bagel, I was extremely disappointed. The salad mixture was spread on thinly like a layer of cream cheese. It include 4 measly pieces of chicken, 6 chunks of apple & 2 huge slices of red onion. It was so dry that I threw it in the trash. Please train your staff better! I asked for chicken salad, not apples & onion.

Didnt like the coffee. Everything bagel was good. Customer service good. Customers seem snotty.

Coffee is solid but food is meh at best. The scrambled eggs are watery and unseasoned, veggies are not sautéed before going in the the scramble, the quiches are not seasoned well and the fillings sparse, and the pastries are doughy and overly sweet. Service was fast and friendly but the staff repeatedly forgot aspects of the order. A grab and go place with prices too high on many items based on the quality.

I go to Bagels and Joe, when I want to get a good affordable nova and cream cheese bagel. The staff is efficient, although I do always seem to go when either their has been a run on Onion bagels or they dont make them as much as the other styles.

What can I say, Ive spent so, so much $$ on takeout from here during the pandemic. Theres nothing like a fresh toasty bagel with cream cheese and a perfect Cortado latte to improve my mood. Their salads and lunch sandwiches are also 👍.

They lost my order. We ordered on line and showed up 30 minutes later. WE WAITED 30 MINUTES MORE FOR OUR ORDRR WHILE PEOPLE WHO CAME IN AFTER US WITH THIER ORDER. MY SON TRIED TWICE AFTER AND THEY REFUSED TO HIM OUR ORDER! WE PAID FOR IT AND 20 PERCENT TIP. NEVER AGAIN WOULDNT GIVE US OUR FOOD OR OUR money back

Super great food! Ive been going here for years so I know the staff well. Sometimes they can seem to be in a hurry, but after many years Ive learned this is just how this business has to run. They are so busy because its such good food. Occasionally there is a great hire that remembers your name and order when consistent. There was a girl who came back a couple of times who was really great - she always made an effort to go above and beyond while still being efficient. I hope she comes back again!

I’ve loved coming here since I was a kid. Recently, Jake has been one of the best parts of the experience. He makes the BEST veggie sandwiches, and always remembers how I order it! I’m stoked I’m able to get pumpernickel bagels somewhere in town, especially in small places like this. The coffee is fantastic, and the smell of it roasting in the cafe is magical. Easily one of my favourite spots in Lincoln!

Ive been ordering through doordash lately. Ever since I found out about Bagels n Joe. Ive been absolutely thrilled about the food, service and variety. I enjoy the chocolate chip scones! personally created by one of the bakers there. Go check them out sometime. They are delicious! ❤

I had ordered two orange cranberry bagels. I got home, started eating one, and it turned out to be a jalapeno bagel. I pulled out the other bagel and it was filled with jalapeno peppers instead of orange or cranberry (I was able to pull out a jalapeno).I took ths 2nd one back to say they made a mistake with my order and showed them the bagel. They were dismissive of it, said they do that sometimes, and went on to the next customer. They didnt offer to exchange it or refund it.I would not recommend if you have allergies

Love Begals & Joe but I have been here for over an hour and no tables have been wiped. They came out to take dirty dishes back. Right now only one customer at the counter no one wiping tables. Would like to see someone wiping tables more often!

Ive only been here twice, both times Ive ordered online to skip the line. Both times the food and coffee has been delicious! Also both times the customer service Ive received has been terrible! Ive been ignored and given attitude for no reason. Again I ordered online and paid before hand...all I needed was to be handed my order...they just need a spot up front to put online orders so we dont disturb their work flow. Ill be back and hopefully treated better.

Everything is great, I just wish they were open longer. They close at 2 on weekends and 3 during the week, which is usually just before Im able to get over there for coffee after work. The food is delicious and the staff is usually very attentive.

4 stars for the food. 5 stars for the coffee.Let me talk about the roaster real quick.I managed a cafe for about 2 years in Orlando so I know what the market is like for the kind of high quality beans that Canyon serves.Take my word for it- he makes amazing coffee for the price. Look up roasters like huckleberry and onyx. This coffee is comparable and MUCH less. Hes also a great guy to talk to if hes around. I think Canyon coffee is going to be big.

I really love this restaurant, best bagels in town! Done the right way, no out of the box Chain store bagels here. Getting a fresh one on a weekend makes my day. The cinnamon rolls are great too!

They have a nice little offering. They do coffee drinks (lattes, cappuccinos, etc), and roast their own beans. They also have fresh-made bagels, and other breakfast items. I recommend the French Toast Bagel with cinnamon cream cheese, and the Breakfast Burrito. Both are very tasty. The service is very good, as well.

My wife and I frequently come here for lattes and sandwiches. To me, the lattes are better than Starbucks and just the right amount of caffeine. The only thing I would suggest is a small drive through location here and there for coffee and basic stuff...like Scooters is doing. This would dramatically increase sales. Your coffee and lattes are better than Starbucks or Scooters.

Stopped in here while visiting Lincoln for Thanksgiving. What a great location and great atmosphere and the prices cant be beat. I am so used to the prices for the other guys. You have to try the Cinnamon roll bagel...it was amazing!

I worked at Bagels and Joe. One of the best companies I have ever worked for. The people are incredible and the menu is so unique. Personal favorite is the double bacon croissant with egg and swiss cheese. They can make absolutely anything you want in terms of drinks.

This is the best bagel place in Lincoln. I wish their hours were a little later, but that’s frankly to be expected in a part of the country where bagels are a snack more than a meal. But if you’re from the East Coast, have family or friends visiting from there, or just want a delicious bagel, bagel sandwich, or cup of coffee, this is a place to visit and take friends! My final note is that weekend mornings there is always a long line - BUT the place is always well-staffed on those days, and the line moves very quickly!

This place has excellent bagels, many varieties. All the sandwiches that Ive had have been very tasty. The coffee is also very good, excellent flavor. The mac and cheese side is delicious, highly recommended.

I go here weekly, super friendly staff, great food and coffee. They also have a few great vegetarian options to choose from- which is nice compared to the one veggie option at most places. 💕

The bagels are wonderful but the cinnamon rolls are heavenly! I am stuck on the Cafe breve drink; it is sooo wonderful. I am glad to have such a great place in my neighborhood that is homegrown, reasonably priced and delicious!

Ive gone to the Bagels & Joe on Old Cheney Road numerous times since Ive moved to Lincoln last year. I love this place! I like getting an asiago cheese bagel or one of their bagel sandwiches with a good coffee. Ill be back soon.

The begels were good and the prices were nice. I was disappointed because I order two different flavors if bagels (three bagels total) and the werent wrapped. They were put all together in a paper bag. I had no idea which was which. Otherwise, I enjoyed my visit.

I went here every morning for a week, once. Their Asiago bagel with the garlic cream cheese; its a match made in heaven! I also really like the coffee, here. They roast their own and it is usually pretty good! I have bought it to take home and brew on my own.

Always new options for delicious coffee and bagels. The place always smells of delicious dough and flavored coffees as you walk through the door. They have a large number of options for bagels and the staff have a new coffee concoction that never disappoints.
