A great little space for meeting up with some friends, chillin solo or jumping on a virtual meeting. The coffee is good, the food is yummy and the environment is great!Also - definitely do the mural walk, you won’t regret it.

In the past this was my favorite coffee joint. But recently new employees and rising prices have ruined this shop. The last few times I have went here, my orders have been consistency incorrect and the staff has been more focused on flirting with eachother than providing basic customer service. When Ive asked to speak with a manager, the employees refuse to direct me to them. This is a low quality restaurant with extremely high prices, Im sad to see it fall to these levels.*Response*The prices are not my primary reason for not feeling welcome at your establishment. The last few times Ive went there have been plenty of staff scheduled. They man working yesterday didnt understand how to run the register, his co-workers offered no help, our orders have consistently been taken incorrectly, the food and drinks are made different every time, and when Ive tried to bring this to the staffs attention they are extremely rude. They clearly lack training due to their apparent inability to preform their duties and severely lack customer service skills. Ive been treated with more dignity at McDonalds.

Great little coffee shop and food place.They serve breakfast and lunch.There is extensive COVID direction and safety protocols. Good signage and direction.The ambiance is on point and the seating is well done.

This is my very first visit to Mo Java. My son had to do homework my internet wasnt working. We decided to order a hot chocolate this hot chocolate is absolutely wonderful....I never tasted hot chocolate that tastes like this. Its perfectly blended and creamy and it has real whip cream that noticeably sits on a separate level than the hot chocolate. A special treat & tantilizing to the taste buds!!

Amazing food. Amazing drinks. Amazing everything. A cozy coffee shop to sip on aa hot or cold drink and read a book or sketch. The energy is so nice, and the workers are so kind. They keep the place very clean and follow all of the appropriate guidelines. I have been going here for years and never get tired of it!

After months of only seeing Mojava from the outside, I finally ventured into and got myself a hot chocolate. It was so thick and creamy. That was last winter and today I finally went back. It took so long because Im poor you see. I order The southern Belle and a Humboldt Fog latte. It was a marvelous combination. I must try their biscuits and gravy next time. Very nice atmosphere, very mellow, much chill.

Its the best little coffee house to hang out at in Lincoln! their food is delicious and I love their pastries! I love the environment and its the only coffee house I can go to that doesnt have some form of pretentiousness inside of it. I love this place so much it has a special place in my heart for being so different from the rest. But please bring back the garlic mayo for your sandwiches? :)

Staff was awsome very helpfull they brought your stuff to you on the patio nice place its a historic building but looks nice. They very friendly staff. They give you a fresh cup of coffee in a new cup. Two thumps up.

The breakfast sandwhich was good, the back patio was nice and quiet, wife had a bagel that she was amazed by. Overall a great experience and love supporting local businesses.

I went here for the first time a few weeks ago and now I go there before work all the time! I think the whole set up was very cute and I like how much seating they have compared to a lot of other coffee shops. The person taking my order was very nice and I enjoyed talking to her, she explained the drinks to me in a way that made more sense. The music they were playing was even a great plus that added to the atmosphere

I went on a Saturday morning. The tables werent all full, but the empty table near the window where we wanted to sit needed to be wiped down. A sign was posted for help wanted - So that might be the reason for that. As a fairly inexperienced coffee connoisseur, I need prompts with ordering. I found it interesting that all the big signage up in the cafe were for ordering food. Theres nothing posted that I could find regarding coffee options. Printed menus do have the coffee info. Love the location.

Iced coffee was delicious, and the chicken salad bagel was fabulous. As someone who can’t eat dairy, I would love to see more dairy-free substitutes offered, as well as markings on the menu to signify which items are dairy-free or vegan or vegetarian, just for sake of clarity. :)This review would be 5 stars, but neither one of the two baristas I ordered from at the counter said anything, until I started ordering. No greeting of any kind. Not very warm. Maybe it was just an off day for the both of them. I still loved my food and drink though!

Im a fan of this place... Its got pretty good food and a friendly staff. The building is situated in a decent spot in Lincoln and, when its nice outside, they have a pretty good patio that a few groups can use.

I love this cafe. One thing I always do when I come to Move Java is check out the gorgeous photographs lining the walls. All of the coffee and food is so good. There are live bands on Fridays, this cafe is good for introverts like me or groups of people and its definitely worth checking out.

Im very happy with the improvements made in the cafe and also in the helpfulness of the staff. Last year it seemed like every time I stopped in for a coffee or a scone, I was interrupting the staff. Over the last 6 months I have been very happy with the friendliness. Also, their BLT is so good. Great coffee and great beer selection!

Nice atmosphere and I like that you can get beer and coffee here. Hasnt ever been too busy when Ive visited. A great place to bring your laptop or a book and relax. Have always had good service here as well.

Warm and cozy atmosphere. Food is good, but pricey. Mocha was expensive, all the cocoa was pooled at the bottom of the huge, awkward wide-mouthed cup it was served in...drank half of it, then realized it needed to be stirred. Then it was way too sweet and strong. Also was not hot to start with, and got cold very quickly in the wide ceramic cup. Comforting, but pricey place to hang out.

Always a great experience. Excellent coffee, many flavor options, good food, and they even have alcohol. I love the atmosphere, the music is never too loud, they have a welcoming staff... I always have a great experience.

Food and coffee were great! Had a flat bread pizza and bagel sandwich with dill cream cheese and both were excellent. Very good atmosphere. Will definitely go again.

I am always seeing the signs for this place so I decided to give it a try. It was worth it!!! First I had a vanilla latte it was probably the best I have ever had smooth and delicious. Next i had a Turkey sausage biscuit with egg and cheese. First the biscuit was light and fluffy and probably made from a cloud there was nothing about this sandwich I did not like I will definately be back as the staff was super friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing.

A great place to relax and I had a wonderful experience with the staff and an awesome coffee. I loved how it was different from the standard Starbucks everyday variety. I wish I lived in Lincoln to be able my choice here every day!

This is an adorable quiet little cafe tucked away in Lincoln! The workers are so nice and friendly and super helpful. Its a great place to work on homework during the day or just sit by yourself and enjoy the coffee and their food!! Chicken pesto club is the way to go!!!

I love the build your own sandwiches. The Cosmic meltdown bagel is my favorite. There is art hung on the walls and the environment is modern, but comfortable.

Not one of my more frequented coffee shops in Lincoln, but not because of lack of quality! Their regular drip brew is good and they have tasty breakfast sandwiches, flatbreads, and other food items.

Very friendly staff, very knowledgeable. Excellent beans, great spro, and their food is scratch made and locally sourced. Alcohol is higher shelf and the prices reflect that, but if youre wanting a drink (alcoholic or otherwise) the quality is top notch.

Mo Java is the Cheers bar of Lincoln coffeehouses. Good food. Good coffee which is roasted on site. Cocktails, beer or wine as you wish. Good homey atmosphere.

Delicious sandwiches. Always a pleasant atmosphere. Smoked Turkey on Ciabatta roll with Provolone, Pesto Mayonnaise, cucumber, tomato, and lettuce from the Build-Your-Own sandwich menu was wonderful. Served with chips.

Mo Java is the café to go to if youre in Northeast Lincoln. Not the best espresso in town, but solid & reliable drinks are served with good drip coffee. Bagel melts, salads, soups, quiche, and assorted pastries made right there. Often featuring live music performances. Good outdoor seating, great vibe.

Environment was welcoming, and the food was really good, but I cant give 5 stars because one of the workers were very snarky and impatient, given I was a first time customer, I had a couple questions, but they were handled poorly. Overall experience was saved by the food

I had the cold brew, it was alright. The service was poor. The blonde at the counter seemed to be annoyed that we were ordering anything. No personality or smile. I ordered a bagel sandwich and hadnt ordered food there before so I wasnt sure if the order would be at the front counter or by the kitchen since I ordered it to go. I went up and asked the same girl about the order after about 5 minutes of waiting. She was short with me and just said, its getting made, its over there. Gee, thanks. I was completely appalled at the lack of any kindness or hospitality. I know my boyfriend has been there before and had great service with another employee. Its unfortunate that the service is inconsistent.

They are over priced my chai latte tasted watered down almost more like tea then a latte I asked them to add a little cinnamon and they added a bunch that made a terrible texture and had way too much cinnamon flavor. Was very unhappy especially since I over paid. The staff was not very friendly either.

What separates this place from other coffee shops is the amount of space -- its big and open, and that means its less noisy. I recommend going here for a late night cup of joe and long hours of studying.
