We ordered four cold brews for pickup with an estimated pick up time of about 30 minutes. It was a Sunday morning, so I understood the wait and didn’t mind. Except it didn’t take thirty minutes, it took an hour, and there weren’t even any other pickups ahead of us; the line cycled through multiple times and we only got our order because we asked them about it. I love Cultiva but I think they should reconsider having an online order option since it didn’t really seem like they had the capability to execute it properly.

If local joints want to survive this economy, they ought to make sure the online ordering system they direct you to when you call to place a pickup is something they actually pay attention to. Otherwise, you’ll show up at your scheduled pickup time to an employee who’s just now putting down their phone long enough to realize they have an order to fill.We waited out in the car until our pickup time and waited an additional fifteen minutes for them to prepare it. No line, just a pure waste of time and lack of caring about your customers at a time like this.I’ve been coming to Cultiva for years and have dealt with varying degrees of aloof customer service because the food and drinks are worth it. Today was next level. Cmon you guys!!

Stopped in with family for breakfast. They rudely insisted they could violate our individual rights by requiring face masks even when there is no mask mandate in the city. They said, we are a private business and you are not allowed in here without a mask. Reminds me of Rosa Parks being told you cant sit on this bus. They wanted us to pay for a mask or leave. We took our business elsewhere. And to think I was going to buy a $50 gift card here for some friends who just moved to town. The owners need to get a grip.

We ordered their cappuccino, lumberjack johnny cakes, the smokey (pesto crepe) and the Parisian (typical banana and Nutella crepe)Their coffee was good but not what I have expected, the cappuccino was a bit weak, you taste the milk more than the espresso shot. Next time ill have to try their espresso in order to really taste their roast.Their johnny cakes are not the Caribbean johnny cakes that im used to. They are basically pancakes... which are not what we eat in the Caribbean. However they were good pancakes.Their crepes were good.Pro: nice local business to support, definitively not a Starbucks.Community feel, kind of like a cafeteria in the shop, self service for sure.Con: the place could be more efficient (order, getting the orders, their staff footprint)

Ive been a regular customer of Cultiva for years and could easily write a glowing review about their meticulously brewed coffee, well crafted drinks, or delicious made to order food. A couple friends of mine recently moved to town, and it was the first place I recommended they go. Lately, however, Ive been incredibly impressed with the care they have taken to keep their staff and customers safe during the pandemic.Ive been avoiding going in to most restaurants or cafes during this whole thing, but finally broke down and went in to Cultiva for a coffee and a salad and was pleasantly surprised at how safe the whole thing felt. The floor had well established markers about where to line-up and where to wait for your food/drinks, the entire set up of condiments and drink mixins had been renegotiated to make it user friendly with the least amount of contact possible, and all the while the staff went out of their way to still be welcoming and friendly despite the weird circumstances.I also appreciated the commitment to carry out, as I would have felt FAR less comfortable standing around and waiting for my food if folks were seated next to me, mask-less while eating and in close proximity to the line.Itd been about 5 months since Id been in but now that Ive seen the measures theyve taken to take this whole thing seriously, Ill definitely be back. The coffee and food were amazing as always, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent coffee and food, plus, Cultiva is being very considerate of their employees and customers regarding the pandemic. The food is really good, but the employees are really rude. I went to use my token for a refill, and waited for 2-3 minutes while the woman at the counter brewed a tee for the person in front of me (which I was happy to wait for). While waiting, the employee never acknowledged that I was standing there, and then she refused to even make eye contact with me when she was helping. She didnt say more than 2 words to me, and she seemed annoyed that I got a refill.I get that this place is going for a hip vibe, but this isnt California or Portland. Lincoln is better than that.

Not sure if I should admit that this was my first experience eating crepes. As a foodie at heart, crepes seemed like something I wouldn’t like to eat. Not a huge fan of sweets, seeing all the savory options at Cultiva made me choose a crepe instead of an omelet. I’m so glad I took the plunge. These crepes are amazing. I had the Phil E. So I rarely ever give bad reviews especially when it’s a coffee place but this one felt necessary. I’ve been to the downtown location with my family and friends a few times. The food, especially the Dutch boy crepes, are amazing and the coffee ranging from strong and dark to frou Frou and sweet is delicious too, however, during my most recent visit I brought a friend who had never been there before. After leaving he said he felt judged but maybe it was just because the space felt so crammed and clustered. When he said this I realized all of my feelings about this location were justified and validated. Every single time I have been to this location the workers have made me feel like they were annoyed to help me and would rather be anywhere else. From the tone of voice the guy at the register had, to me being unable to finish giving my order before he wanted to move on to the next customer, to the cook behind the other counter’s dirty looks I was left wondering what I had done wrong but after observing the workers for a while I realized it was just their demeanor with seemingly every customer. I’ve been to the East Campus location once with a friend and the two girls working there were so sweet and recommended the house made granola. These two experiences from the downtown and east campus locations were night and day. I will for sure continue going to the east campus location with friends but I’m done going downtown to a place where I feel bizarrely unwelcome (given the no hate and everyone is welcome theme to their decor) when there are so many other great options to meet up for coffee dates.

I’m from Denver and often go to trendy, hipster coffee shops in CO, so I get the vibe you are going for. But never have I been treated so poorly, especially as a paying customer. My family and I stopped to grab coffe a quick bit before visiting my grandmother who was not doing well. While waiting for our food, we received a call that my grandmother had passed. As expected, we were upset and trying to get to her as quickly as possible. The only item we were waiting on was a bagel for my mom. Everyone went outside and I waited inside to grab the bagel. I asked the front counter where it was and he pointed over to the food counter. I walked over and hovered for a minute, looking to see if the woman working the counter was prepping another order, or getting the bagel together. She was not, so, I asked, very politely if I might add, if she knew how much longer on the bagel. She pointed to the toaster and said super snotty “it’s toasting” and looked away and started to cut bananas. I said “ok, we actually just found out my grandma passed, I just wanted to grab this for my mom really quickly”. She annoying looked at me and said “it takes time” roller her eyes and looked away. I was so shocked, I had tears rolling down my face from the news and I just wanted to grab the bagel we paid for so we could get out and this was the response. I was not asking for freebies or something above and beyond, just a little compassion for a fellow human who is grieving. So dissatisfying, disappointing and upsetting.
