I was referred to Freeway Muffler by my mechanic, Carroll Utley. I had asked for him to give me a quote on fixing my exhaust, and although technically only a section of exhaust needed to be replaced he would have to replace the whole thing. He told me to go to Freeway because they specialize in repairing and customizing exhausts. Im so glad I did, because they were able to do the work at a fraction of the price! The owner was a nice guy; I had forgotten to drop my car off earlier in the day but they were understanding and told me to bring it by and they could get it knocked out. In under an hour my car was done, and so refreshingly quiet! I would recommend to anybody who is procrastinating fixing their exhaust due to the expense, because they can customize the work for your car! Thanks Freeway Muffler!!

I was very happy with my experience here. Kent replaced my muffler and did a great job. He knew exactly what was wrong and he fixed it faster and cheaper than I was expecting. They even came in a little under the quote. I called in two days ago and they were able to get the part in and get me fixed up already. 10/10 would recommend.

From the initial diagnosis and quote, to the completed work, I was impressed with this business. Kent was honest and through as he explained the work done, set the time line for parts arrival (older model needed to be ordered in) and got our vehicle in and out on the day of service. The price was very fair for the work done and came in just under the estimated price.I was impressed with the cleanliness of the waiting area. The staff wasnt wearing masks but I wasnt concerned as we were more than 6 ft. apart. A non issue for me on a very hot July day as the techs were working in the hot, humid, Nebraska summertime conditions.

Diagnosed the problem, timely fix! Also had an evaluation previous where they were able to repair without a full replacement that bought me a few more years with my exhaust system.

I tried giving my business to these guys 4 times and every time they had a different excuse as to why they couldn’t do it. I even bought extra parts after the mechanic told me I needed them and they still made up excuses. I will never recommend anyone to this place

5 star service - they did great work on my car at a reasonable price. That said, they had seemingly no covid-19 awareness - no masks, no hand sanitizer, and the waiting area looked like it had never been disinfected. For the size of the place, it seems like only minimal effort would be needed to ensure the health of their customers.

This guy is legit one of the best mechanics Ive worked with in Lincoln. Had the opportunity to tell me I would be paying $300 more on some work to my car and instead made the call that it wouldnt be necessary then topped off my radiator fluid after I mentioned an issue I had.One of the good ones out there. Will be visiting him in the future for my cars needs.

Kent was great! Had him install an aftermarket exhaust for my Subaru and couldnt be happier. Final price was a little bit LOWER than the original quote and was in & out very quick. Would definitely recommend this place for anything exhaust related.

I have been here on two separate occasions. First, was to have my resonator replaced which was straight-forward, quick, and affordable. Second time, I thought I needed my brakes replaced. I took my car into the shop in the morning and had it back by the afternoon. However, turns out my brakes were just fine! I had another issue that didnt need to be fixed at the time and they charged me nothing! This is where I was really impressed! Honest, affordable, overall great businessmen here!

Great place to take a car to when it needs worked on. Kent, the Owner, is good friends with my dad. The other guy who works there, Tim, is an amazing mechanic. Took my 07 Tahoe in there with Oil Pressure problems. Said it was probably my oil filter and the only option was taking my engine and everything apart. Meaning I would be without a car for a week or two. Tim took a peak under the hood and said he had an idea. He ended up running this solution through the oil filter and draining my oil. Once it was all cleaned out, he changed the oil. She has worked like a charm since! I thank the guys over there for taking great care of my car!!

These guys are amazing! We were traveling through Nebraska a few weeks ago, and we had a brake line that needed replaced. It was mid snow/ice storm, and we were not braking right. They were the first place we called, and they had our van in within the hour! The place they had machine our new brake line was running behind on delivery due to the storm, but these guys stayed later than they had to just to finish the job! They truly saved our day! The price was more than reasonable too! Highly recommend! Our dog hung out with us in the lobby while waiting, and he approves of this place too!

These guys were great. They fit me into their schedule before a holiday with only 24hrs notice. Dropped my car off before work and they had it done quickly. I was able to pick it up over lunch. Even without a groupon their price is lower than the other places Ive been in town for a full synthetic oil change. I will be back for future services. (Car=Subaru)

A guy from work said he had a good experience at Freeway and I needed new front and rear brakes on my Subaru. I called on a Friday and spoke to Kent about what the workload for Saturday looked like and he said he had some room for a brake pad swap. I had the car in by 8:30 and it was ready to go by 11:30. Kent was a super nice guy and offered a really pleasant conversation. There was no upsell on anything, no hassle whatsoever. Straight shooting, competitive pricing, honest, and quick.In a day and age where too dang many auto servicers are in the nickel and dime game, do yourself a favor and give an honest, hard working local shop your business. They sure deserve it and they will take mighty good care of you.

I obtained three estimates for exhaust system replacement for my 92 Nissan pickup. Freeway was $100 less. Reason? Freeway noted that the old pipe on the truck from catalytic converter to muffler was a conventional tube. The suppliers all specify an articulated flex joint pipe that costs about $180. Freeway configured a conventional tube to effect the savings. These folks are worth talking to when seeking service for an older vehicle.

Very pleased and happy! I was expecting a huge cost since Midas had suggested I replace the entire exhaust system at a recent visit. Freeway fixed the problem on the same day for $69. Highly recommend. Staff is very friendly too.

My Truck was making a terrible noise due to a failure in the exhaust system. Took it to Freeway over my lunch hour. Welded in a patch and charged me $37.00. Truck sounds perfect now. I respected their honestly and reasonable pricing.
