I would not recommend this place to anyone who has general maintenance issues with their vehicle. While they can take care of oil changes and simple tasks alike they struggle at finding the root cause of issues and instead have you repairing things that do not need repaired yet. I brought my car in because the starter was not cranking at all meaning when I turned the key to start the car the starter did not turn at all. My lights were fine and I tested my battery which passed so my next step was to give the starter I small tap and as soon as I did this the car fired up however the starter made a grinding noise during the start. The starter and labor was under warranty however when I brought my car in JD and Marcus were extremely rude and unprofessional and told me that it was my alternator causing the problem. What they dont know is I already had a master mechanic check this out who told me the problem was the starter. Yes, the master mechanic did tell me my alternator will need replaced but not at this time. I am a full time college student which I explained to JD so I need to spend money very frugally and he became upset and rude and told me if I wasnt going to take his recommendation then I shouldnt come back. He then told me to leave. Very unprofessional I will never return again and will charge the costs of the starter repair back to them.

Such a rip off... Did brakes(Rotor and Pads both front and rear) job for my Honda Odyssey and it was way expensive than dealer. He said they dont upsell like dealer. But still spent 1000+ which could have been 600 approx. I dont recommend it. Manager is little agressive too.

I had a great experience at this location! I brought my car in for service after an accident, and the manager Matt did a wonderful job helping me out, as well as all of the techs. I will definitely return to this location again. Matt was extremely kind and understanding when I was upset at the damage I caused and did everything he could to help me.

Over the summer I had a suspension issue that I thought would have been resolved with new parts that this location put on but through the winter that was not the case, so I brought up my concern with Matt & he went above & beyond to remedy the situation & made sure his team made it right. Just a few days ago my brakes started to grind and make a terrible noise. I wasn’t sure where to go to get them looked at but found these guys on google. I went in for an inspection yesterday (was greeted by an incredibly nice women that worked the front) and found out my rotors and pads had completely worn down. The Manager Matt was the one to thoroughly explain what needed to be fixed and worked with me to find an affordable solution to get my kids and I back on the road safely. They worked me in right away and fixed my car within two hours even though they were short staffed and busy. I cannot thank Matt and his staff enough for being so caring and doing an amazing job fixing my car. I didn’t know my brakes could work that good! I was pretty down about having to spend more money on my car (it had been in the shop two other times months prior) but they were very compassionate and helped to make my day brighter. Its a good place. I went in for an alignment, and they told me I had some more things wrong with the suspension. They gave me a price for the work, and I told them that was out of my price range. They worked with me to get my car road safe within a price range I could afford. I would recommend Brakes Plus to anyone in need of auto service.

These guysn did a good job: both when I had my oil changed and they let me wait for my car on that one. they did a good job on replacing my rfear struts one thing they did have issues with parts delivery, but they did get me done same day. they dont have time to talk, however they did explain the services they did. I will, probably go to this place again when I need service on my car.

This place was amazing! I had just moved to Lincoln and this Brakes Plus was recommended to me when I needed a mechanic. I was able to get my car in on Saturday, they have a key drop box so I could leave it Friday evening, and after looking at it the manager called me and gave a thorough explanation of what he recommended be fixed. He was open and honest, welcomed my questions, didn’t rush or pressure me, and threw in the alignment (and later one rear caliper!) for free. He was very friendly, fair, and professional. I will be going here for all my car repairs!!!

I dropped my car off 2 hours prior to my appointment for an alignment and suspension inspection. I called an hour and fifteen minutes after my appointment time, and they still hadnt looked at my car. After another hour, I came to pick up my car. According to my eyes and their alignment report, the rear wheels were still out of alignment vertically -- they blamed this on the shocks. While driving home, I noticed the car pulling very hard to the right, indicating that the front of the car is still out of alignment.I am very dissappointed with my entire experience with this shop and will not be returning.

There are not enough amazing things to say about Joel and the crew down at this Breaks Plus location! I went in last week needing my breaks and a belt replaced, and the work they did was outstanding and reasonably priced! They made sure I was taken care of from the beginning to the end of the whole process, explaining everything they were doing and why it was needed. As someone who doesnt have a lot of knowledge about how cars work, they helped me understand the problems with my car. They also informed me that my cv axles needed to be replaced and were able to give me a quote, never once pressuring me to get it fixed right then and there. After shopping around and realizing their prices just could not be beat, I went back today to have them replaced. My car now runs and feels better than the day i bought it. It was such a pleasure working with those guys. I felt comfortable leaving my car in their care. Even though i live in Omaha, I will always consider coming to Lincoln to have them work on my vehicle needs as well recommend them to anyone who needs their services. It was a great experience from beginning to end! Thanks for all the great work guys!

FYI I have never written a google review before, and have only done a couple of reviews anywhere. I only do them when I get EXCEPTIONAL service and treatment.My car overheated on a simple trip across town. I stopped in at Brakes Plus - Pine Lake and asked them to take a look. After the nicest chewing out Ive ever had (for not keeping my maintenance schedule) General Manager Joel Mosser gave me my keys and sent me on my way. He made several suggestions, particularly since Im heading out of town next week for a few days, and wished me luck. I will recommend them to any and all who want to hear it.

Needed an emergency alignment after a snowstorm and they had me in there 2 hours after I called. So cheap I threw in an oil change. I believe I found my new quick service station.

Excellent customer service. The technicians are thorough when going over your car’s inspection, including bringing you out to see the vehicle yourself so you can see what needs repaired with your own eyes. They have fair pricing that is clearly written out on the menu board. They even give discounts and commonly have specials on oil changes. They have better prices and better wait times than most of the shops in town. They even offer a free shuttle so you don’t necessarily have to wait for lengthier repairs. I used to change my own oil, but the inspection that they offer provides peace of mind that I wouldn’t otherwise get and all for the same price as is I did it myself.

I have had a bad experience with these guys. My engine was dying soon after being started. Brakes plus mechanics told that my fuel pump was not good. They offered me to change the fuel pump for $850. I towed my car to Baxter Toyota. After checking the computer of my Camry 2011, they found out that one of the fuses was misplaced and another was missing. Engine of my car began working perfectly without replacing fuel pump. Conclusion: Brakes plus has no good mechanics!

Personally, I use my truck for commercial use, so my experience has been from excessive wear and tear and usage, versus the normal daily driver. And when I came to brakes plus the difference in level of service was the first thing I noticed. Most shops in Lincoln have one or two good factors offset by negative factors, for example...you get brakes done but the techs don’t point out other system needs’ while they’re under the rack, or you’ll get a backyard mechanic who did great work on fords but could be seen YouTubing your chevy’s needs before even diagnosing the issue to you. Sometimes you’ll see an understaffed shop and the interior elements of the outfit are in need of attention, (bathrooms, exteriors, unkept work areas). So watching this outfit operate was eye opening that a higher expectation level could be brought here to Lincoln and raise the bar.What is even more impressive is the knowledge and training that comes with the quality of techs they hire. The old saying “hire character and train skill” is inapplicable because they hired both. I have been a repeat customer for this reason, for the money I have spent in repairs due to my job and workload that my truck performs, I am more than confident in saying I have still saved thousands in potential issues that they prevented by just knowing their job, and applying that experience to their service. I recommend having Joel and his team lead your vehicles needs and overall care, and if they have suggestions and insight into your vehicles safety and performance, your wallet will thank you for listening; my vehicle IS my office, and trusting it to them has proven effective several times over in keeping it on the road. One last mention, it’s a very clean shop compared to some of Lincoln’s other options, which goes a long way in customer reassurance and confidence.

Service writer JD lied about not being able to use customer bought parts, because he didn’t want to do a 20 minute job an hour before close, when they have a waiver to be signed for such instances as well as still charge the customer parts and labor if needed.

Theyre always willing to inform me of any problem I may he curious with about my car. AND they remember previous issues I have had. I never get a better feeling than when a store remembers me AND what i was there for. Plus their free quotes are very convenient.

This new location is really a breath of fresh air when comparing to other car repair businesses in the area. Costco recommend Brakes Plus to me for an alignment evaluation. Brakes Plus made a recommendation but didnt pressure me buy anything. I took the quote home and compared it to other jobs done by dealerships nearby who were at least 25% higher. So, I returned and am so pleased that I did. They had a clean shop, including the restroom, hot coffee, and friendly staff. Service Mgr Joel checked on me a couple of times and Service Assoc Justin advised me about the repairs being done on my car. While I waited, I learned about various car systems on their streaming TV service and auto diagrams on the walls. Location is easy to get to with several places within walking distance where you can go to grab a bite to eat. You can also get a ride, if you need it. This place is all about getting your vehicle into great shape at super reasonable prices (including financing). Its a place youll tell others about. Thats how good they are!
