Top-notch and best customer service anywhere around! Had an excellent experience dealing with Travis on the phone when he went above and beyond with helping me get some special order nuts I needed for my zero turn lawnmower. He took his time and worked extra hard to make sure my needs were met!It’s hard to find genuine people that care about their customers these days. This is the go to place for all my lawn maintenance equipment.Everyone here is knowledgeable of their products and are very helpful. I have purchased equipment from them since we moved here 24yrs ago, and was never disappointed. The service department has has always fixed the broken quickly and for a fair price.

This place is great! I buy most of my lawn equipment at Sosebee and they’re all so friendly. They start up the equipment for you to show you it works. I definitely recommend this place for any lawn equipment or lawn equipment parts 👍🏼

Just moved to Lawrenceville and needed a new lawnmower and wanted to shop local. Came across this place driving through town and stopped in. Was greeted right away and had an associate discuss my needs and showed me several self propelled push mowers. Did not try to upsell at all or show me something more than I needed. Explained different price ranges and features and put a good value proposition on all mowers featured. Ended up buying a Toro 22 inch push mower on the spot. They oiled and gassed it up right away, gave me the run down of how to work it and I was on my way in no time. I will be back again to buy more yard equipment as the season processes and will highly recommend.

The guys at Sosebees are great! They keep a good inventory and are pretty knowledgeable about the products they sell. I had a question today that he didnt know the answer exactly, he called the tech for the product and got the answer. Thats great customer service!

I have been dealing with Sosebee Auto Parts since 1980 . They used to be a great company to deal with. Saturday I took my riding mower it for service. I bought it there new in 2012. They have performed all the service on it. Usually the bill is around $80.00. Last time ( back in May) the bill was over $300.00. They replaced a plastic shroud that time so I figured Ok. Saturday Sept 19th I took it in to have the carburetor rebuilt. I was met by the service manager. First thing out of her mouth was Do you have an appointment? I said no but I am just going to drop it off. She hands me a form to fill out. On the form it says they want to put a hold on my charge cart for $250.00. I said I just needed the carb rebuilt. She tells me that the parts alone would be $256.00. I had already been on the internet and a new carb sent to my house is $24.99. I explained this to her and she just walked away. I even called back to there parts department and they told me the carb was around $125.00. After years of good relations with them I will no longer be doing business with them.

My first experience was wonderful. I even asked if they could deliver the lawn mower. The delivery truck was at the store and the man brought the mower to my house faster than Prime or any other delivery service.Happy customer.

I have lived in Gwinnett since 1996 and have driven by this place countless times. Today, my Honda Lawnmower decided it was time for service and after calling a few places and hearing of extremely long service times, I called Sosebee and was surprised at a shorter timeframe than most. I take the mower in and get the paperwork and then decided to ask if they took trade-ins and the answer was yes. So after looking at similar units to what I already had, I decided to purchase at what I think was a very fair trade. Everyone I encountered from service to sales was incredibly nice and I now have found my new lawnmower shop.

Parts department is great - Repair department - not so much. Last year I brought in an Echo Weed trimmer that had a rotted out primer bulb and asked how much to replace the primer bulb. The guy tells me that when the primer rots that Ill need a carburetor and it will cost around $100 for the part, then immediately walks away from me when I ask him Really? I go online and the part can be found for about 1/3rd the quoted price, and I couldnt believe that a barely used trimmer, that had the primer bulb rot from sitting unused for a couple years would have anything to do with making the carb go bad. I ordered a primer bulb from Amazon for $3 and replaced it myself. Fired right up with no trouble. Now I need actual repairs on my lawnmower, and while this is the closest place to repair it, I am struggling with myself to even consider this place after trying to completely rip me off.

I love this place. Its got that old school parts store feel to it. You can tell its family owned, as they feel invested in their customers with sincere gratitude and assistance. I always go here to get parts for any of my lawn equipment. They always help me find the right parts and always have good prices; sometimes even cheaper than buying online. Highly recommend.

Went to the store today to look at some string trimmers and wasnt too sure they would have anything that would fit my needs and budget but ended up finding something that worked out. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and gave some great demonstrations on the differences between some of the lower end models I was looking at. I ended up buying a straight shaft model and was about to get the head piece of the trimmer switched out for free with one that had the auto feeding string feature.

Whatever you do, NEVER do business with this company. WOW! Is all that I can say. My fiancee took our lawnmower here last Saturday to be repaired. After only two uses on my brand new lawnmower, I added too much oil and flooded the carburetor. We knew it needed a new one. We finally took it somewhere to be repaired. When it was dropped off, we were told that it would be ready Tuesday and would cost about $60. On Tuesday, we were told it would now not be ready until Friday because they ordered the wrong one. We were also informed that the one we needed would cost more and that the price of the repair would be $110. Keep in mind, they have never called us to tell us any of this along the way, we have had to chase them down for information. When we go to pick it up today we hear that they had to do and oil change and filter replacement on the mower and it was now going to be $150. Cliff was furious. When he questioned why they would not call to tell us before doing any other work, or even call to say hey, the part costs way more than we expected, do you still want to do it is beyond excusable. One gentleman did say at the time we dropped it off that he thought we could go buy a new one for $150. However, to us, a $60 repair is better than $150. They were rude when we brought the lack of professionalism to their attention. What did they do to make up for it? Took off like $10 for the oil change and filter that they did not ask about adding into the cost in the first place. Sad, we love doing business with small local companies. All I can say is to NEVER do business with them. I am very disappointed.

Ive been doing business here for a long time, usually they are pretty solid in their dealings. But theyve made a lot of changes, and dont seem to be concerned about customer service as much anymore. Long story short I scheduled some of my Stihl equipment for simple maintainence (oil change, filter, etc...). They came to pick up my the equipment and were supposed to drop it off. Long story short it was at their location for 3 weeks and I had to personally go pick it up. I asked for a refund on the delivery since they genuinely forgot about me. I was told I can only get half the refund by an associate.As I was writing this I saw the owner Jim, and told him what happened and he did the right thing no questions asked. He refunded the delivery fee in full and even threw in a free hat. Thank you Jim, I look forward to being a continued long-term customer.

Called sales desk to check inventory and price on steering parts for my tractor mower.Salesperson said he could sell me what I wanted or he could sell me what I actually needed to fix the mower. He explained what my problem was, and how to repair it.I was ready to pay about $60.00 for parts I didnt need. I took his advice and paid only $12.00 for the parts. Went home, followed his directions and fixed the mower in about 30 minutes.Great bunch of guys!!!

I was looking for a Ariens / Gravely Zero turn and tried to purchase one from Home Depot. What a joke. I called Sosebees, and spoke with Jim, and they had exactly what I was looking for in stock and at a great price. When I picked it up, they explained all of the features and functions and loaded it on my trailer for me. I will be taking it to them for maintenance when needed and hopefully the customer service will be as outstanding as it was at the time of purchase.

I used to do a lot of business with Dan and Jim Sosebee but the people they have working for them have caused to me to look elsewhere for the parts and service my mowers require. The parts counter has sold me the wrong parts I needed and the service department has replaced parts that didnt need replacing all the while charging a premium price for service on my mowers. Thought I would give them another try. Called to get a price on a clutch disk . Dan said between 13 and 15 dollars . Got there and it was 20 dollars. He said he just thru a number out there on the phone!

Ive gone to Sosebee for at least 30 years. They always have exactly what I need in the way of parts for my outdoor equipment. Sosebees repair service is top notch and they get it right the first time. My only complaint is they never seem very friendly and in a hurry to move down the line. They been a mainstay in Gwinnett for many years, so, its hard to argue with success

Great experience. Took my tractor in with a drive train problem. They found two bolts holding the engine had dropped out and hat the other two were loose. Could have charged me for much more. Ill keep coming back.

Took my lawn tractor there because they were listed as the manufacturer’s approved dealer/repair shop. Won’t go back again. They charged me $50 for a replacement battery with an additional $80 for 1 hours labor. Most auto mechanics don’t get that much. There were several piddling items added to repairs, that weren’t requested, so mechanic could claim 1 hour of labor.
