Kinda expensive for a junk yard but then gave me sooooo much trouble returning my engine core. Idk if they just didnt want to give me my $200 core back or what but with my paperwork THEY provided why should there have been a problem?! BUYER BEWARE. We purchased a transmission from Givens June 20, 2020. August 14, 2020 our vehicle broke down and determined the transmission was bad. The band on the transmission was faulty and they flat out refused to provide any type of assistance. Their warranty is 30 days; however, given we spent $795 on the transmission I would think they would provide some type of assistance. So, after spending $795 on the transmission, $600 to have the transmission installed and another $300 to have the problem diagnosed...we are back at square 1. I recommend looking elsewhere ..these are trying times so I would have appreciated the owner attempting to provide some type of assistance. Instead, we were told the warranty has expired. Shop elsewhere if you can

They quoted me the wrong price over the phone by mistake. $200 cheaper. When I picked up the part, they stuck to their word and sold it at the discounted price. I’ll continue to shop here for that reason alone.

If you enjoy being talked over and berated, this is the place for you.We were given the wrong part the first time we went, it happens. We went in to exchange it and the boss was immediately aggressive. He was exceedingly ill-mannered, and insisted that the part we had received was correct. He continued to insist on his personal opinion despite pictures and explaining the issue multiple times.Honestly not sure how he’s been “doing this for 35 years” with the way he talks to people.That being said, the staff was very helpful once he went to pet his own ego elsewhere. Maybe one day they’ll have a boss who doesn’t act like a toddler without a nap.

Bad customer service. If you dont have a car in-stock tell your customer you dont have it in stock and dont just ring off the phone.

Horrible place! Bad customer service! Drove 3 hours to buy a hood that they promised “it’s in good condition” hood had rock chips and pain peeling bad. Never will come again or do business with them!!! Be aware!!!

Staff was able to determine whether they had the part I was looking for quickly and took no time at all the retrieve it. Friendly and inexpensive. Took the time to answer questions we had and made small talk. Great experience. Hopefully I wont need to return but if I do I know Ill be in good hands.

I bought a used engine and have 30 days warranty. When I took it home to replaced the new oil pan gaskets when I open it theres a lot of debris and shaved metal pieces! I took it back and Bill the manager wont refund me! Beware buying parts with this Givens company! I even left a message to let the owner call me back which is William Givens and they didnt even give my message to him. Ive wasted $1,100 for nothing its all non working parts theyre selling and customer service are the worse!!! They need to shot down this company!!!

Dont waste your time. The owner apparently didnt want to sell me anything today. Needed an engine shipped to me. I was going to use credit but he said he doesnt take credit for a larger purchase then I said okay I can do debit. Then he said I need to come pay for it cash or have someone do it. If I had time for that I wouldnt of needed it shipped LOL CLOWN BUSINESS

Found a replacement door for my suv for $100. They removed the salvage part and pulled it for me.

I arrived at 5:45pm, gate was already closed. I call, only to hear message that if no customer is there at 5:30pm, they may close early. Hmm.....funny......because when I called at 4:05pm and someone picked up the phone, I never got to hear that very important message. I tried to leave a voicemail and the voicemail box is full. How are new customers supposed to know this without being told? I drove 45 minutes to get here and you guys are closed Wednesday’s.

Called on 6/10/17 to see if they had a part I needed. The (very) rude woman who answered the phone quickly confirmed they had it, but because several other junkyards had just told me they had it when they really didnt, I asked if I could get confirmation before driving an hour to their location. I was told AGAIN that they had it: the price is between $35 and $75, depending on which a/c line you need, but we wont know which one until you get here. I really wanted to be sure they had the exact line I needed, so I offered to send a picture of the part for confirmation, but I was told they were too busy to physically check before I drove an hour out to their yard.After making the 1 hour drive and waiting while their employee looked for the part for 15 min, I was told they didnt have it after all. I asked to speak with the owner, who told me that he would have checked if I called on a Monday rather than a Saturday, but that doesnt explain why his receptionist would say we have it three times (it also doesnt explain how they had time to send someone out to the yard to check after I had already made the drive). The owner said we have it means we have cars that potentially match your car -- not we have the part you asked about. After hearing my complaint, the owner had the nerve to ask me what I thought I was going to get out of speaking to him.Obviously, most customers inform a business owner when they have had bad service as a courtesy to the business owner (who presumably cares what his customers think) and to receive an apology. Not this guy. Apparently the service is so bad at this place that he couldnt even imagine why a customer would bother telling him about it. His unwillingness to offer an apology just shows a lack of character and his staff obviously feeds off of that attitude.I only wish I had read the reviews here before even calling.

Well.. its been a few days since i was there. I waited to write the review to confirm the online parts list was updated. Result. If you are close they might be a good fit for you. However after reviewing to confirm they have the parts at the location, 3 different vehicles on the lot. I then called and they confirmed they had the parts. 1 hour drive there, 45 min wait to find out the cars were not on the lot, then 1 hour drive home. Seems like nice folks however their parts inventory is not up to date. I checked the inventory again 3 business days later and they have removed the reference for the left side parts but not the right side. (still shows cars there) Sigh..... I would shop elsewhere unless you are close by and can afford the travel time if they dont have the part.

Dont even waste your time speaking with the owner Bill. Find another employee to help you. Bill is EXTREMELY arrogant and rude. Not only is he rude to his customers but he treats his employees very poorly. I have been shopping with givens off and on now for several years and have never had a good experience with Bill. His employees on the other hand are amazing and constantly give great customer service! Hurvey and Miguel are very talented and easy to get a long with. His new addition Justin, is a little less experienced but seems to be trying rather hard to learn the trade and is definitely the one to go to about Jeep parts. He could answer every question my son had about his Cherokee last time we were there. Stick to one of those three employees before even bothering with Bill. Im hoping they stick around and the owner doesnt run them off. If so I definitely wont be shopping with Bill

Not cheap and not in stock. Quoted big numbers for car parts compared to other used car parts ones fees. We were considering walking away but thought we will take a look at the car and parts before we do. Turns out they dont even have the car or parts in stock. Their system is not updated even they have at least 6 people in the office just sitting around.

I needed a Lexus wheel and called no less than 10 places and Givens was the only place that had it. The gentleman was willing to go double check it was in stock before I drove such a long way. Wheel is perfect. Thanks!

Absolutely the best service I have ever had at a salvage yard!.....From Bill the owner, to Hurley ( who was totally awesome!) , to Justin and Hernandez, the lady on the front desk, everyone was so polite, very friendly and helpful. Ive never written a review before...ever, but I simply had to take a minute to respond to some of these negative replies on here for these folks....it simply isnt true....these folks couldnt have been any more helpful or friendly...they went out of their way to help, and they gladly loaded the transmission I purchased, AND, the price I got for an outstanding trans is the best anywhere....Seriously, Im just a satisfied customer, actually Im a transmission service shop that deals with a lot of used parts dealers, ..NOT an employee or family member related in any way to them.....hands down these folks give the best service of all the yards I buy from ...period! Great staff at Givens Auto Parts. I came in last minute and they were very friendly, courteous, and super speedy and efficient in making sure that my needs were met. Highly recommend this place for any recycled auto parts needs.

No one else had my part. My drivers window was busted out this weekend while I was working my wallet was stolen. These guys searched their lot and pulled my new window for me and brought it out to the car.

I think everyone expects to be more then customer he run place and coordinate all parts delivery also they are fast i found my part and in 5 min was delivered to me ot does missing one of them but they give it to me free. I think they are good and professional maybe the way they talk its just how it is just the his face expression. They are totally fine to me thanks for the parts and service i will comeback again if i need something.

Absolutely awful business, absolute sham. They sell used broken auto parts knowingly to customers. They gave us a broken transmission and when we demanded a refund they refused. If you cant satisfy your customers needs and carry yourself with integrity then dont own a business. If you havent done your job, dont steal customers money, do the right thing and work with your customers until the job is done correctly.

I called the lady at the Lville location to confirm they had the part I needed, she confirmed - I drove 1 hour only to inspect the Wrong door. Not going to say I hated it but, I disliked the experience I had with them (she was told of her mistake by a gentleman who offered to help and didnt seem to care too much about about it). I guess the way I run my business is a bit different because although its uncommon, if we drop the ball, we make sure to compensate for it and although I asked - it was not offered.I bought what they had from a nearby location just because if I went elsewhere it would have equated to even more time. Staff customer service was what I expected from the typical salvage yard - minimal (I have only run into about 2-3 salvage yards with excellent customer service this was not one of them).

Its not worth going. Its a waste of time and when it comes to changing a part or getting a replacement they make it a big problem. They dont try to help you and if they do they do it with a bad attitude. I recommend not going

This is one of the worst people to get parts from they gave us credit for a part we had to return they sound the printer was down and the man said he would remember us he never forget anything but when we tried to use it he doesnt remember us theyret a bunch of lairs and thefts so save ur money and go to pull a part theyrth nice and theyre cheaper than these people and they try everyone with respect 😤

I am in the automotive business and buy a lot of used parts from many salvage yards. When I find the part I need at Givens I just keep lookimng or buy new. They are CONSISTENTLY the absolute worst to deal with. As much as I wish that I was exaggerating, I am not. Before I realized how awful they were I would find the part I needed there and they would assure me that it was either in good shape or present. I have been several times, wasted countless hours in my car and have bought NOTHING from them either because the part they assured me was there and in good shape was either not there or in worse shape than what I was trying to replace. DO NOT USE GIVENS. You will be wasting your time.

I have been a car dealer for many years and I can truly say I hate this place.The owner Bill is HORRIBLE. Do not buy. They will give you the run around if there is any issue. The owner is an evil villain. I once watched him threaten a Hispanic customer with a golf club bc he knew the customer was undocumented and was asking for an exchange. Sounds unreal, but it happened. He will cuss and yell at customers about issues. Thank God for Lkq. I only hope his Son stays a nice boy and takes over the business.

They are the worst the owner is an arrogant jerk! Instead of returning my core charge they took money out of my account again when confronted they returned that money and five days later returned my core charge! The owner was a total smart ass and told me to take it up with my bank instead of fixing the problem they caused. The owner and all his employees are seriously arrogant jerks and on top of that they sold me a bad engine and tried to tell us we did not know what we are talking about! They eventually replaced it for a good one but not without having to listen to their smart mouthsI will never do business with them again I will go to lance

I’m Nissan tech with 20 plus years in the industry,purchased used automatic transmission from Givens auto parts in Lawrenceville delivery was good ,but on inspection of the part founded that transmission has been dropped and tail housing bent ,oil pan caved in.i had to swap this parts from old transmission to the one I have got from them.if i was not working on my own cars it is extra labor to do all this.to receive core credit I was told to take old transmission to their location this will not going to happen.thank God that transmission itself worked and I don’t have to deal with return and exchange.over all customer service is poor.if you desperately need parts you can buy from them but beware of possible problems

I believe 98-99% of the used auto junkyards around the country have the tendency of dont care attitude when it comes to serving customers. The notion of dont want to ask and dont tell the negative type behavior continue so long they are in this type of business. The mentality is: the customers are the ONE who needs them and that you must be so desperate before reaching your pocket book.
